1. Product description
LCA04 is a just Place & Play GPS Tracking Device, it meets multiple
application scenarios such as logistics, renting vehicles, trailers,
construction machines etc. valuable assets’ monitoring. Its magnetic
function help saving the time and cost of installation, built-in sensitive
light sensor triggers alert real time in anti-theft. 5 working modes
perform excellently no matter the being-tracking target is in high-speed
moving, long-time static status or both, meanwhile its 5000mAh battery
could last from 1 month in frequent locating to 3 years if one position per
day.
2. Warning
1) This device is suitable for adults. People with physical disability and
cognitive impairment must use it under the supervision of guardian.
2) Keep the product accessories and packaging materials away from
children, otherwise there may be accidents or choking hazard.
3) Do not use if it is damaged obviously.
4) The device is only used for its designed purpose and must be used in the
manner indicated. The manufacturer shall not be responsible for any
damage caused by any improper or reckless act.
5) It is strictly forbidden to use the equipment in violation of the operating
instructions, disassemble it without permission, collide, charge, soak in
water, exceed 80℃, man-made failure, force majeure damage, etc.,
otherwise it may cause short circuit, insufficient working time, battery
deformation, night leakage, explosion, etc. Loss, no warranty and
compensation will be made.
6) Clean the equipment in the prescribed way. Do not use any solvents
and disconnect the power supply in advance when cleaning.
3. Precautions
1) There are 3 versions of LCA04, which correspond to different network
and positioning accuracy and functions, please pay attention to the label
on the body when using it.

2) Do not exposed this device to rain and high temperature during
installation and use.
3) This product uses GPS and BeiDou satellite positioning, and there are
irresistible factors that cause positioning failure or abnormal
communication, such as bad weather, artificial shielding of wireless
signals, blind areas of wireless signal coverage, etc.
4) This device supports 4G LTE CAT1 and GSM/GPRS wireless
communication network. To achieve better communication and
positioning performance, please be sure not to place it in metal
shielding boxes or under place with metal surface.
5) This device requires the cooperation of the monitoring platform to
implement all its features. For details, please refer to the relevant
monitoring platform usage specifications.
6) The contents of this manual may be subject to change without notice.
Please refer to the actual product.
7) For anti-tamper, light sensor works only in a seamless flat basement.
8) To ensure longer working duration, choose the suitable working mode is
necessary, please set up the working mode based on your usage.
4. Production composition
5. Hardware operation
5.1 Insert SIM Card
Open the waterproof cover of the SIM card, insert the SIM card in the
direction shown as below image, and the device will automatically turn

on after inserting the SIM card. After inserting the card, assemble the SIM
card cover, log in through the APP or platform to check its location.
Precautions:
1) If no SIM card is installed, the communication part of the terminal will
not be turned on; when a SIM card is installed, the device will be
powered on; when the SIM card is removed, the communication
terminal will automatically shut down.
2) The terminal SIM card needs to activate SMS and network
communication function.
3) Please ensure that the terminal SIM card has balance.
4) If your SIM card is turned on and you are required to enter the SIM PIN,
please refer to your mobile phone user manual to turn off the SIM PIN
input function.
5.2 Recharge Device
The device needs to be fully charged before use. It is recommended to
use the 5V/2A charger which supports fast charging mode and takes
about 5 hours to fully recharged. The charging cable is a standard Micro-
USB charging cable.

To gain higher location accuracy, it is recommended to install the device
in car or vehicle as images shown.
6. Operation of indicator light
By checking the status indicator, you can understand the working status of
the device. The status of the indicator is described as follows:

7.1 Mode 1: Clock type
Command: MODE,1,T1,T2,T3,T4,T5,D#, T1~T5 mean the time during day
under 24-hour format, D means current report lasting duration in days. Up
to 5 time could be set up; device power on for 3 minutes maximum each
time wake up, power off after 1 location reported.
Sample:
1 location per day at 08:16: MODE,1,0816,1#
2 locations in 3 days 08:16, 18:16: MODE,1,0816,1816,3#
7.2 Mode 2: Tracking mode
Command: MODE,2,T1#, T1 means the time interval to report location, in
seconds, range from 5~999. Under this mode, device keeps online and turn
on GPS location when moving, turn off GPS location when static.
7.3 Mode 21: Smart clock mode
Command: MODE,21,T1,T2,T3,T4,T5#, T1~T5 mean the time during day
under 24-hour format. It reports GPS location in Mode 2: Tracking mode
interval when moving, but auto wakes up to report in clock time pre-set.

7.4 Mode 3: Cycle mode
Command: MODE,3,T#, T is in minutes, ranges from 5 to 1440. Device
power on for 3 minutes maximum each time wake up, power off after
location reported.
Sample:
Every 3 hours report 1 GPS location: MODE,3,180#
7.5 Mode 23: Smart cycle mode
Command: MODE,23,T#, T is in minutes, ranges from 5 to 1440. It reports
GPS location in Mode 2: Tracking mode interval when moving, but auto
wakes up to report in cycle time pre-set.

11. Repair and disposal

1) Never attempt to repair the instrument or adjust it yourself. We can no
longer guarantee perfect functioning if you do it.
2) Repairs may only be performed by Customer Service or authorized
dealers.
3) For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the
household waste at the end of its useful life. Dispose of the unit at a
suitable local collection or recycling point. Dispose of the device in
accordance with EC Directive ‒ WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment).
4) If you have any questions, please contact the local department
responsible for waste disposal.
