1 | Allgemeines
Diese Gebrauchsanleitung gehört ausschließlich zu diesem Produkt. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise zur
Handhabung und Reinigung. Achten Sie hierauf, auch wenn Sie das Produkt an Dritte weitergeben.
Archivieren Sie deshalb diese Gebrauchsanleitung, sodass Sie zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt erneut
darin nachlesen können.
2 | Verwendung
3 | Warnhinweise
Dieser Rucksack ist aus wasserdichten Materialien gefertigt und das Hauptfach
somit wasserdicht. Lediglich an der Außenseite angebrachte Taschen sind durch
den Einsatz eines Reißverschlusses nicht 100% wasserdicht, jedoch durch eine
gummierte Ausführung der Reißverschlüsse hochgradig wasserabweisend. Bei
Regenfahrten schützen Sie empfindliche Inhalte in den Außentaschen jedoch
bitte immer zusätzlich mit wasserdichten Beuteln aus dem Louis Sortiment vor
Nässe.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Verschlüsse des Rucksacks auf dem Fahrzeug
keine empfindlichen Flächen, z.B. die Lackierung berühren und diese ggf.
verkratzen können. Schützen Sie den Lack ggf. durch Schutzfolie oder ein
Tankpad.
4 | Sicherheit
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Der vorliegende Rucksack dient der Aufnahme und dem sicheren Verstauen von
losen Gepäckstücken bis zu einer max. Zuladung von 5 kg.
Verwenden Sie den Rucksack nur wie in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben.

Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und kann zu
Sachschäden führen. Der Hersteller oder Händler übernimmt keine Haftung
für Schäden, die durch nicht bestimmungsgemäßen oder falschen Gebrauch
entstanden sind.
Sicherheitshinweise
• Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieser Gebrauchsanleitung verursacht
werden, erlischt der Gewährleistungsanspruch. Für Folgeschäden übernehmen
wir keine Haftung.
• Bei Sach- oder Personenschäden, die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung oder
Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise verursacht werden, übernehmen wir
keine Haftung. In solchen Fällen erlischt der Gewährleistungsanspruch.
• Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen und/
oder Verändern des Produktes nicht gestattet.
• Halten Sie Plastikfolien oder anderes Verpackungsmaterial fern von Kindern, es
besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
• Transportieren Sie keine schweren Lasten im Rucksack. Die maximale Zuladung
von 5 kg darf nicht überschritten werden.
• Packen Sie keine spitzen, scharfkantigen oder sonstige Gegenstände in den
Rucksack, von denen eine Verletzungsgefahr ausgehen kann.
• Bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten auf dem Zweirad entstehen am Rücken des
Trägers an der Windabrisskante starke Luftverwirbelungen. Diese können
ein ungewolltes Öffnen der Reißverschlüsse zur Folge haben. Bitte achten
Sie deshalb darauf, dass die Reißverschlüsse immer am Rucksackboden
verschließen (Abbildung 1 und 2). Die beigefügten Abbildungen 3 und 4 zeigen,
wie der Rollverschluss richtig gehandhabt wird.
• Vergewissern Sie sich regelmäßig vor dem Gebrauch des Rucksacks, dass alle
Reiß- und Schnappverschlüsse sicher verschlossen sind und sich während der
Fahrt auf keinen Fall von allein öffnen können.
• Lose/überstehende Befestigungsgurte und -riemen sollten so verstaut bzw.
eingekürzt werden, dass sie nicht in drehende Teile geraten können - Sturzgefahr!
• Während der Fahrt dürfen aus Sicherheitsgründen keine Gegenstände in einem
äußeren Gepäcknetz (soweit vorhanden) des Rucksacks transportiert werden.
• Rucksäcke können die Fahreigenschaften des Zweirads und die Fahrsicherheit
des Fahrers beeinträchtigen, deshalb darf eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 120
km/h nicht überschritten werden. Passen Sie Ihre Fahrweise an die durch den
Rucksack veränderten Gegebenheiten an.
• Vergewissern Sie sich vor jeder Fahrt, dass die Befestigungsriemen korrekt
festgezurrt sind.
• Rucksäcke sind nicht für die Befestigung auf dem Motorrad (Gepäckträger,
Sitzbank, Tank, etc.) konzipiert. Tragen Sie den Rucksack, auch auf dem
Motorrad, nur auf dem Rücken.

5 | Lagerung
Bewahren Sie den Rucksack in einem vor Witterung und Feuchtigkeit geschützten/geschlossenen,
Raum auf. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit von max. 80% sollte nicht überschritten werden. Um den Rucksack
zusätzlich zu schützen, benutzen Sie ein geeignetes Imprägniermittel.
6 | Gebrauch
Bepacken Sie den Rucksack so, dass schweres Transportgut unten und leichtes oben angeordnet ist.
Weiches Transportgut zeigt zum Rücken, hartes/kantiges sollte abgepolstert werden, damit es nicht
drücken oder im Extremfall Verletzungen herbeiführen kann. Der Rucksack wird sorgfältig verschlossen,
alle äußeren Reißverschlüsse werden gesichert. Die beigefügten Abbildungen (3 und 4) zeigen, wie der
Rollverschluss richtig gehandhabt wird.
Zum Aufsetzen des Rucksacks wird zunächst der Schultergurt gelockert und der Hüftgurt/Brustgurt
geöffnet. Nun den Rucksack ggf. auf einem Knie abstützen und in die Schultergurte schlüpfen.

7 | Reinigung
Reinigen Sie den textilen Rucksack (nicht Leder) mit warmer Seifenlauge per Hand. Lederflächen
können bei Verschmutzung mit speziellem Reinigungsmittel, z.B. Lederseife, gereinigt werden.
Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall scharfe Reinigungsmittel oder ähnliches. Textilimprägnierer aus
unserem Sortiment machen den Rucksack nach der Reinigung wieder wasser-, schmutzabweisend und
wetterfest.
8 | Entsorgung
Verpackung entsorgen
Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung sortenrein. Geben Sie Pappe und Karton zum Altpapier, Folien in die
Wertstoffsammlung.
Den Brustgurt schließen und einstellen.
Der Brustgurt verbessert die Bewe-
gungsfreiheit bei aktiver Bewegung, sta-
bilisiert das Tragesystem und schützt
vor Ermüdung. Er erhöht die Sicherheit
auf dem Zweirad.
Justieren Sie, soweit vorhanden, alle
verstellbaren Verschlussbänder so, dass
der Rucksack eine gute Formsteifigkeit
erhält, fest auf dem Rücken sitzt und
auf dem Zweirad nicht flattert.
Den Hüftgurt schließen – er sollte
mit den Hüftknochen abschließen.
Hüftgurt auf den jeweiligen Hüftumfang
einstellen.
An den Schultergurten die Rückenlänge
so einstellen, dass der Rucksack in
gewünschter Position sitzt.

Entsorgung Rucksack
Der Rucksack besteht aus wertvollen Rohstoffen, die wiederverwendet werden können. Entsorgen Sie
den Rucksack nicht mit dem Hausmüll, sondern führen Sie ihn der Wertstoffsammlung zu.
9 | Gewährleistung
Nehmen Sie sich genügend Zeit für eine gründliche Vorbereitung des Rucksacks auf die nächste
Verwendung und berücksichtigen Sie unbedingt die genannten Sicherheits- und Gebrauchshinweise.
Eine unzureichende oder unsachgemäße Verwendung des Rucksacks führt zum Erlöschen jeglicher
Gewährleistungsansprüche.

1 | General information
These instructions for use are exclusively for this product. They contain important information on
handling and cleaning. This should also be taken into consideration if the product is passed on to a
third party. Therefore, file these instructions for use so that you can use them for reference again at a
later time.
2 | Use
3 | Warnings
This backpack is made of waterproof materials and the main compartment
is therefore rainproof. Only the outer pockets are not completely waterproof
because they have zippers. However, rubberised zippers provide a high degree
of water repellence. When riding your motorcycle in the rain, you should always
protect any delicate items in the outer pockets additionally against moisture with
waterproof bags from the Louis range.
Make certain that the closures on the backpack cannot touch your motorcycle’s
paintwork or other surfaces and cause scratches. If necessary, protect your
paintwork with a protection film or tank pad.
4 | Safety
Intended use
This backpack is intended for securely carrying loose items of luggage up to a
max. load of 5 kg.
Only use the backpack as described in these operating instructions. Any
other use is considered improper use and may result in material damage. The

manufacturer or supplier accepts no liability for damage caused by improper or
incorrect use.
Safety instructions
• The warranty will be rendered null and void in the event of any damage caused
by failure to adhere to these instructions for use. We assume no liability for
consequential loss or damage.
• We accept no liability for material damage or personal injury caused by improper
use or failure to follow the safety instructions. In such cases, the warranty will
be rendered null and void.
• For safety reasons and to avoid invalidating the official approval (street-legal), no
unauthorised modification and/or changes to the product are permitted.
• Keep plastic films and other packaging material away from children. There is a
danger of suffocation.
• Do not transport heavy loads in your backpack. The maximum load of 5 kg must
not be exceeded.
• Do not use the backpack for transporting pointed or sharp-edged objects or any
other object that could cause injury.
• At high speeds on a motorcycle, strong air turbulence occurs at the edge
of the backpack on the wearer’s back. This can cause the zippers to open
unexpectedly, so you should always close the zippers at the base of the
backpack (Fig. 1 and 2). The illustrations below (Fig. 3 and 4) show how to use
the roll-down closure correctly.
• Before setting off, always check that all the zippers and snap closures are
securely closed and cannot come open while the motorbike is moving.
• Loose ends of lashing straps and belts should be stowed away or shortened
so that they cannot get caught in rotating parts of the motorcycle and cause an
accident!
• For safety reasons, you must not transport any objects in an outer cargo net (if
fitted) on the backpack while riding your motorbike.
• Backpacks can affect the handling of the motorcycle and impair the safety of
the rider, so you must not exceed 100 km/h (approx. 62 mph). Adapt your riding
style to the change in handling caused by the backpack.
• Check that the fastening straps are properly tightened before every journey.
• Backpacks are not designed for securing to a motorbike (luggage rack, seat,
tank etc.). Always wear the backpack on your back when riding your motorbike.

5 | Storage
When not in use, store your backpack indoors for protection against the weather and moisture.
Humidity should not exceed 80%. Use a suitable waterproofer to give your backpack extra protection.
6 | How to use
items should be padded to prevent them pressing against your back or, in the worst scenario, causing
injury. Close your backpack carefully and secure all the outer zippers. The illustrations below (Fig. 3 and
4) show how to use the roll-down closure correctly.
To put on the backpack, first loosen the shoulder straps and open the hip belt/chest strap. Then rest
the backpack on your knee, if necessary, and put your arms into the shoulder straps.

7 | Cleaning
Clean your textile (not leather) backpack by hand using warm, mild soapy water. Leather surfaces can
be cleaned with a special cleaner, e.g. saddle soap. Never use harsh cleaning products or the like.
Textile proofers from the Louis range can be used to weatherproof the backpack and restore its water-
and dirt-repellent properties.
8 | Disposal
Packaging disposal
Please separate and dispose of the packaging appropriately. Dispose of cardboard and cardboard
boxes with waste paper and dispose of plastic film with recyclables.
Do up the chest strap and adjust as
required. The chest strap gives you
greater freedom of movement, stabilises
the carrying system and helps to
prevent fatigue. It also improves safety
on your motorcycle.
Adjust all adjustable closure straps
so that the backpack is quite rigid,
sits firmly against your back, and does
not flap about when you ride your
motorcycle.
Do up the hip belt – it should be at the
level of your hip bones. Adjust the hip
belt to suit your hip size
Adjust the length of the shoulder straps
so that the backpack is positioned
comfortably on your back.

Disposal of the backpack
The backpack is made of valuable raw materials which can be recycled. Therefore, do not dispose of
your backpack with the household waste; take it to your local collection point for recyclables instead.

Take time to prepare your backpack carefully for your next trip, and always follow these safety
instructions and instructions for use. Inappropriate handling or incorrect use of the backpack will void
all warranty claims.

contient des remarques importantes à propos de la manipulation et du nettoyage. Observez ces
remarques, même en cas de cession du produit à un tiers. Archivez par conséquent le présent mode
d'emploi afin de pouvoir le consulter à une date ultérieure.

Le présent sac à dos est fabriqué en matières étanches. Le compartiment
principal est donc imperméable à l'eau. En raison de l'utilisation de fermetures
éclair, les poches extérieures ne sont pas 100 % étanches. Toutefois, une
fermeture éclair caoutchoutée permet de les rendre très déperlants. Lorsque
vous roulez par temps de pluie, veuillez toutefois toujours protéger les contenus
fragiles dans les poches extérieures contre l'humidité en plus à l'aide de sachets
étanches disponibles dans la gamme Louis.
Assurez-vous que les fermetures du sac à dos ne peuvent pas toucher et, le cas
échéant, rayer les surfaces sensibles du véhicule, comme par ex. la peinture. Le
cas échéant, protégez la peinture à l'aide d'un film de protection ou d'un protège-
réservoir.
4 | Sécurité
Utilisation correcte
Le présent sac à dos sert à loger et à ranger de manière sûre vos affaires en
vrac jusqu'à une charge maxi. de 5 kg.
N'utilisez le sac à dos que comme décrit dans le présent mode d'emploi. Toute

autre utilisation est considérée comme non conforme et peut entraîner des
dommages matériels. Le fabricant et le revendeur déclinent toute responsabilité
pour tout dommage dû à une utilisation non conforme ou incorrecte.

• En cas de dommages résultant de la non-observation du présent mode
d'emploi, le droit à garantie expire. Nous déclinons toute responsabilité pour les

• Ne transportez pas de charges lourdes dans le sac à dos. La charge maximale
ne doit pas être supérieure à 5 kg.
• Ne rangez jamais des objets pointus ou tranchants ni des objets auxquels vous
risqueriez de vous blesser dans le sac à dos.
• Lorsque vous roulez à grande vitesse avec votre deux-roues, des
tourbillonnements d'air sont générés dans le dos du motard au niveau de l'arête
coupe-vent. Ces tourbillonnements peuvent provoquer une ouverture accidentelle
des fermetures éclair. Veillez donc à toujours fermer les fermetures éclair vers le
fond du sac à dos (voir illustrations 1 et 2). Les illustrations ci-dessous (3 et 4)
indiquent comment manipuler correctement la fermeture à enroulement.
• Avant d'utiliser le sac à dos, vérifiez régulièrement que toutes les fermetures
éclair et à déclic sont bien fermées et qu'elles ne peuvent en aucun cas s'ouvrir
d'elles-mêmes pendant le trajet.
• Les cordons de serrage et les sangles de fixation lâches/qui dépassent doivent
être rangés ou raccourcis de manière à ne pas pouvoir s'emmêler dans les
pièces rotatives : risque de chute !
• Pour des raisons de sécurité, il est interdit de transporter des objets dans le
filet à bagages extérieur (le cas échéant) du sac à dos.
• Les sacs à dos peuvent gêner la conduite du deux-roues et nuire à la sécurité
routière du conducteur. Pour cette raison, il est interdit de dépasser une vitesse
maximale de 120 km/h. Adaptez votre conduite aux nouvelles conditions dues à
la présence du sac à dos.
• Avant de prendre la route, assurez-vous à chaque fois que les sangles de
fixation sont correctement arrimées.
• Les sacs à dos ne sont pas conçus pour être fixés sur la moto (porte-bagages,
selle, réservoir, etc.). Même sur la moto, portez uniquement le sac à dos sur le
dos.

5 | Stockage
Rangez le sac à dos dans une pièce fermée à l'abri des intempéries et de l'humidité. Ne pas dépasser
une humidité de l'air de 80 %. Pour apporter une protection supplémentaire à votre sac à dos, utilisez
un imperméabilisant approprié.
6 | Utilisation
Remplissez le sac à dos de manière à ce que les affaires lourdes soient rangées au fond et les
affaires légères en haut. Les affaires souples doivent être orientées vers le dos, les affaires dures/
anguleuses doivent être rembourrées afin de ne pas appuyer sur votre dos ou, dans les cas extrêmes,
provoquer des blessures. Le sac à dos doit être soigneusement fermé. Toutes les fermetures éclair
extérieures doivent être sécurisées. Les illustrations ci-dessous (3 et 4) indiquent comment manipuler
correctement la fermeture à enroulement.
Pour mettre en place le sac à dos, commencez par desserrer les bandoulières et par ouvrir la ceinture/
sangle pectorale. Le cas échéant, appuyez le sac à dos sur votre genou, puis enfilez la bandoulière.

7 | Nettoyage
Nettoyez à la main le sac à dos (pas en cuir !) avec de l'eau savonneuse chaude. Lorsqu'elles sont
sales, les surfaces en cuir peuvent être nettoyées à l'aide d'un produit de nettoyage spécial, comme
par ex. un savon pour cuir. N'employez en aucun cas de détergents agressifs ou d'autres produits
similaires. Après le nettoyage, l'application d'un imperméabilisant pour textiles disponible dans notre
gamme vous permet de rendre au sac à dos ses propriétés déperlantes, anti-salissantes et résistantes
aux intempéries.
8 | Élimination
Élimination de l'emballage
Éliminez l'emballage en procédant au tri sélectif. Éliminez le papier et le carton avec le papier destiné
au recyclage et les films plastiques dans la poubelle appropriée.
Fermez et ajustez la sangle pectorale.
La sangle pectorale améliore la liberté
pour les mouvements actifs. Elle
stabilise le système de transport et
vous préserve de la fatigue. Elle vous
apporte un gain de sécurité sur votre
deux-roues.
Le cas échéant, ajustez les sangles de
fermeture réglables en veillant à ce que
le sac à dos ne puisse pas se déformer,
qu'il soit positionné fermement contre
votre dos et qu'il ne puisse pas flotter
au vent sur votre deux-roues.
Fermez la ceinture. La ceinture doit
se trouver au niveau de l'os iliaque.
Ajustez la ceinture à la taille de vos
hanches.
Réglez la longueur dans le dos à l'aide
des bandoulières pour mettre le sac à
dos dans la position souhaitée.

Élimination du sac à dos
Le sac à dos est fabriqué à partir de matières premières précieuses pouvant être réutilisées. Ne jetez
donc pas le sac à dos à la poubelle, mais déposez-le au point de collecte des matières recyclables.
9 | Garantie légale
Prenez le temps de bien préparer votre sac à dos en vue de sa prochaine utilisation et observez
impérativement les consignes de sécurité et d'utilisation mentionnées. Une utilisation incorrecte ou
inappropriée du sac à dos annule tout droit à garantie.
