STEP 4 : Installing the hitch to the sled (see figure 4).
a. Install the screw, the washer and the nut on the extremity of the hitch
(see gure 4a).
b. Fasten the hitch on the side brackets with the lock washer and the lock nut
(see gure 4b).
c. Install the caps on the end of the screws.
d. Repeat on the other side.
ÉTAPE 4 : Fixer le harnais à la luge (voir figure 4).
a. Installer la vis, les rondelles et l’écrou à l’extrémité de la barre du harnais
(voir gure 4a).
b. Fixer le harnais au support latéral avec la rondelle frein et l’écrou nylon
(voir gure 4b).
c. Installer les bouchons sur l’extémité des vis.
d. Répéter pour l’autre côté.

STEP 1: Assembling the hitch and the pivot (see figure 1).
a. Install the pivot on the hitch arms. Make sure that the «V» shape of
the pivot is facing downwards as shown.
b. Insert the two rst screws and the washers in the holes of the hitch
and of the pivot.
c. Install the black washer between the 2 arms of the hitch using the
third screw.
d. Install the nuts and tighten the screws rmly.
ÉTAPE 1 : Assembler le pivot et les deux barres de harnais
(voir figure 1).
a. Placer le pivot au-dessus des 2 barres de harnais. Assurez-vous que la partie
en «V» du pivot pointe vers le bas comme illustré.
b. Insérer les deux premières vis et les rondelles dans les trous des barres et
du pivot comme illustré.
c. Installer la rondelle noire entre les 2 barres de harnais à l’aide de
la troisième vis.
d. Serrer les trois vis à l’aide des écrous en nylon.

STEP 3: Installing the left and right side brackets to the sled
(see figure 3).
a. Place a washer on each screw and insert the screws in the drilled holes of
the side bracket (see gure 3a).
b. Install the side bracket on the exterior of the sled. Align the screws with
the drilled holes (see gure 3a).
c. Install the bracket plate on the inside of the sled and rmly tighten the
nylon nuts and the last washers (see gure 3b).
d. Repeat on the opposite side.
ÉTAPE 3 : Installer les supports latéraux à gauche et à droite de la
luge (voir figure 3).
a. Installer une rondelle sur chaque vis et placer les vis dans les trous du
support latéral (voir gure 3a).
b. Installer le support latéral à l’extérieur de la luge. Aligner les vis dans les
trous sur le côté de la luge (voir gure 3a).
c. Installer la plaque de xation à l’intérieur de la luge et xer fermement
à l’aide des écrous en nylon et des dernières rondelles (voir gure 3b).
d. Répéter sur le côté opposé.
**** THE FOLLOWING STEP IS ONLY NECESSARY IF THERE ARE NO HITCH
HOLES ON YOUR SLED ALREADY****
STEP 2: Drill the holes for the side brackets on each side of your sled
(see figure 2).
a. Align the bracket plate holes with the landmarks on the side of the sled. Make
sure that the side bracket is parallel to the design line over the landmarks
(see gure 2a and 2b).
b. With a 21/64 bit, drill the upper front hole with the help of the landmark and
the bracket plate.
c. Place a M8 bolt through the drilled hole and tighten the bracket plate with
a nut. (see gure 2c).
d. Repeat step b) and c) for the lower front hole. Take note that the landmark
might not be exactly in the center of the bracket plate hole. If so, rely on the
bracket plate hole to drill at the right place.
e. Repeat step b) and c) for the two last holes with the help of the bracket plate.
f. Remove the screws, the nuts and the bracket plate when it is done.
g. Repeat previous steps on the opposite side of the sled.

ÉTAPE 2: Percer les trous pour les supports latéraux à gauche et
à droite de la luge (voir figure 3).
a. Aligner les trous de la plaque à support avec les points de repère sur le
côté de la luge. S’assurer que la plaque est parallèle à la ligne de design
au-dessus des points de repères (voir gure 2a et 2b).
b. À l’aide d’une mèche 21/64, percer le trou supérieur avant en vous guidant
avec le point de repère et la plaque à support.
c. Insérez une vis M8 à l’intérieur du trou percé et le xer fermement à l’aide
d’un écrou (gure 2c).
d. Répéter l’étape b) et c) pour le trou inférieur avant. Prendre note que
le point de repère pourrait ne pas être exactement au milieu du trou de
la plaque. Si cela est le cas, se er au trou de plaque à support pour percer
au bon endroit.
e. Répéter l’étape b) et c) avec les deux derniers trous en se servant de la
plaque à support.
f. Retirer les vis, les écrous et la plaque à support une fois terminé.
g. Répéter les étapes précédentes pour l’autre côté de la luge.
