Traversina Sleeper

This Co-Sleeper allows parents to sleep next to their baby without sharing the
same bed.
It can be used as a normal crib or as a co-sleeper.
It can be adjusted to 6 different height levels and can be used at an inclined
level to help with baby’s congestion and reflux.

Please take a few moments to read this instruction manual on how to assemble
and use your co-sleeper correctly so you can rest assured that your little one is
sleeping safe and Secure.

WARNING !!
WARNING: Do not use this product without reading the instructions for use first.
WARNING: Stop using the product as soon as the child can sit or kneel or pull itself up.
WARNING: Placing additional items in the product may cause suffocation.
WARNING: Do not place the product close to another product,which could present a danger of
Suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords, etc.
WARNING: Should be placed on a horizontal floor; Young children should not be allowed to play
Unsupervised in the vicinity of the crib.
WARNING: The crib should be locked in the fixed position when the child is left unattended.
WARNING: Be aware of the risk of burning cigarettes, open fires and other sources of strong heat,
Such as electric bar fires,gas fires,etc. In the near vicinity of the crib.
WARNING: DO NOT use crib if any parts are missing, damaged,or broken. Contact the manufacture
for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts.
WARNING: Bedside Crib is designed for use only with adult beds that are between 43 and 58cm
from floor to top of adult mattress The product should not be used as a bedside crib outside of
this guide height.
WARNING: To avoid hazards from the child's neck being caught on the top rail on the side that is
next to the adult bed,the top rail must not be higher than the adult bed mattress;
DANGER!:Always completely raise the dropside when not attached to the adult's bed.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of your child being strangled the attachment system to the adult's bed
shall always be kept away from and out of the crib.
WARNING: Entrapment Hazard -To prevent death from entrapment, bedside sleeper must be
properly secured to adult bed using the attachment straps.
a) There must be no more than Half an inch.(13 mm) gap between bedside sleeper and adult bed.
b) Check tightness before each use by puling bedside sleeper in a direction away from adult bed.
c) lf gap exceeds Half an inch.(13mm), DO NOT use product. Do not fill the gap with pillows,
blankets or other items that are suffocation hazards.
WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in serious injury or death.
Always follow assembly instructions for each product use mode(bed side sleeper & crib).
WARNING: Always use ALL required parts for each use mode.
Check instruction manual for a list of required parts. Periodically check product for loose, damaged,
or missing parts.
WARNING: Always read and follow assembly instructions for each product use mode (bedside
sleeper & crib). Assemble product according to manufacturer's instructions for ANY use mode
bedside sleeper as well as the crib modes.
WARNING: The maximum mattress thickness should be no higher than the line marked on the
inside of the crib.
WARNING: Do not use more than one mattress in the product.
This product is intended for use for babies aged between 0 and 6 months, weighing up
to a maximum of 9 kg.
WARNING: When a child is able to sit, kneel or to pull itself up, the crib shall not be used anymore
for this child.
Before assembly, check that the product and all of its components have not been damaged during
transportation. Should any part be damaged do not use and keep out of reach of children.
WARNING: the product is ready for use only when all locking mechanisms are engaged. Check
carefully that these are engaged before use.
WARNING: When the child is left unattended in the product, in ‘’crib mode’’, always make sure
that the side rail is raised and the zippers are completely closed.
All opening, adjusting, anchoring and positioning operations of the product must be carried out
exclusively by an adult.

Before using in ‘’Co-sleeping mode’’ (Fixed to the bed)’’ make sure the product is properly
anchored and positioned.
The product must always be placed on a horizontal surface. Never leave the product on an
inclined surface with the child inside of it.
WARNING: When the product is used in ‘’Co-sleeping mode’’ (Fixed to the bed)’’, before laying
the child in it, make sure that the connection belts are hooked and tensioned properly, the
product must be secured to the parents’ mattress and no gaps between the products and the
adults’ mattress must be present.
Make sure the users of this product are knowledgeable on its proper operation.
Children must not be permitted to play without supervision near the product.
Use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer. Do not apply accessories to the product,
which are not supplied by the manufacturer.
Do not adjust or move the product with the child inside.
Do not leave any object inside the product that could reduce its depth.
Do not position the cot near walls and obstacles to prevent trapping hazards.
Do not leave small objects inside the product to prevent choking hazards.
Do not use the product with more than one child at a time.
Do not use the product without the frame.
Keep the fastening belts away from the reach of children.
If you purchase a mattress separately, make sure it is suitable for the product.
The product must be kept away from electric cables and cords: do not place the product near
windows where cords, curtains or similar objects could pose choking or strangling hazards for the
child. To avoid strangling hazards, do not give to your child or place near him, objects equipped
with cords.
A prolonged exposure to the sun may cause changes of tones to the product’s colour. After a
prolonged exposure of the product to high temperatures, wait a few minutes prior to placing
your child in it.

Unfold the Bed Frame
1. Please turn the Foot Tube of the
bed to the outside
2. Turn the foot tube to the point where it
is vertically upright (as shown in image)
Using the Brakes
To enable the brakes push down on
the lever on the wheels on the bottom
of the sleeper.
To disable the brakes lift the lever upwards
to move the Sleeper.
When using the Sleeper ensure the
brakes are enabled.

Installing the storage basket
As shown in the image, insert the basket
into the foot tubes seperately. You should
hear a “click”sound indicating they are
locked into place.
Installing the bottom bracket
1. Place the two feet of the bottom
bracket to the hole on the foot tubes,
under the height adjustment rods. A
“click” sound indicating they are locked
into place.
2. After feet are installed, fix the buckles on
the two sides to the middle rod.

Opening the
side frame
Open the Side Frame
1. Press the two detach buttons under the side
fram at the same time.
2. Detach the buckle and zipper protector
3. Unzip the 2 zippers on each end.
4. Lift the detached frame up and turn it downward.
Ensure your baby is not inside the
crib when you detach the crib
from your bed frame.

Height Adjustment
The Height difference between the
head end and foot end of your sleeper
should be no more than 5cm (2 inches)
1. Press the adjustment button
to adjust the height on 6 positions.
2. The number marking on the hole
shows the gear position.
1.Place the sleeper in a suitable position next to the bed and enable the brakes on the
four wheels.
2. Adjust the height to be level with the bed.
To avoid death from the infants neck being caught on the
top rail on the side that is next to the adults bed, the top
rail must be no higher than the adult mattress. ALWAYS
raise the side when not fastened to the adult bed.

Attaching to the Bed
When using the fixed belt, it must be
at the same height as the bed board
1. Place the bedside sleeper in a suitable position next to the bed and enable all 4 brakes.
2. Adjust the height to be level with the bed.
3. Take out the fixing belt.
4. There are 2 connecting buckles on the bottom frame of the sleeper. Tie the bed with the
fixing belt and fasten the buckles to make sure they are secured.
Entrapment Hazard - To prevent death from entrapment the
sleeper must be properly secured to the adult bed using the
attachment straps.
There must be no more than a half inch (13mm) gap between
the bedside sleeper and adult bed.
Check the tightness before each use by pulling the bedside
sleeper in the direction away from the adult bed.
If the gap exceeds half an inch (13mm), DO NOT use the product.
Do not fill the gap with pillows, blankets or other items which can
cause a suffocation hazard.
The attachment strap must always be used in bedside sleeper mode.

Cradle Mode
Pull down the four wheels on the sleeper then push them upwards,
This will convert the sleeper into a rocking cradle.
Installing the Mosquito net
As shown in the image, fasten the buttons
on both sides of the mosquito net to the
inside of the bed frame, then cover the
mosquito net to both ends of the bedrail.

Removing fabric
1. Detach the buckle on the zipper protector.
2. Remove the fabric cover by unzipping along
the top edge of the bed frame.

For washing of the fabric, carefully comply with instructions indicated on the label.
- for cleaning, do not use solvents, abrasive or aggressive products.
- all assembly fittings should always be tightened properly and that care should be
taken that no screws are loose, because a child could trap parts of the body or clothing
(e.g. strings, necklaces, ribbons for babies’ dummies, etc.), which would pose a risk of
strangulation.
- from time to time check your bassinet for worn parts, torn material or stitching. Replace or
repair the parts as needed. Use only Love N Care parts. Discontinue use if anything is missing.
- excessive exposure to the sun or heat may cause fading or warping of parts.
- It is very important to thoroughly clean and dry the sleeper after using in all seasons.

All Love N Care products are guaranteed for twelve months from the
date of purchase. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be
excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for
compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the
goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure. This covers against faults which develop
through faulty materials and workmanship.
Misuse, accidental damages, normal wear and tear or neglect are
not covered. If a fault becomes apparent, please return the item to
the store of purchase with your receipt. You must inform the store what
the defect is. We will then arrange for its repair or it will be
assessed for replacement as expediently as possible. The benefits
of this warranty are in addition to other right and remedies under the
law in relation to the goods or services to which this warranty relates.

Where you send the product directly to the manufacturer then you
may be liable for the costs of transportation to and from Love N Care.
Love N Care will meet the reasonable expenses incurred by a consumer
