Die Steckverbindungen dürfen nicht unter Last getrennt
werden! Vor der Trennung der Steckverbindungen muss der
Stromkreis an einer geeigneten Stelle unterbrochen werden.
Dieses kann durch ausschalten des DC/AC Konverters oder
abschalten des AC Stromkreises gesehen.
Do not disconnect under load: PV plug connection must be
disconnected while under load. They can be placed in a non
state by switching of the DC/AC convertor or breaking the
AC-circuit.
Zum Schutz vor einem elektrischen Schlag bei der Konfektio-
nierung müssen die Steckverbinder immer allseitig von der
Stromversorgung getrennt sein.
In order to prevent the risk of an electrical shock, the connectors
must always be completely separated from the power supply
during the assembly process.

Endprodukt (die Photovoltaik-Anlage, das Photovoltaik-Modul)

Important recommendations and notices
Das Benutzen von Hilfsstoffen (Schmiermittel, Ölen, Fetten,
usw.) ist bei der Montage oder Handhabung der Steckverbinder
nicht zulässig. Ebenso beeinflusst jegliche Art von
Verschmutzung während der Montage (Staub, Feuchtigkeit,
usw.) das System hinsichtlich der Funktion über den
angestrebten Gebrauchszeitraum negativ. Dies gilt besonders für
die Einsatztauglichkeit der Dichtung und die Crimpkontakte. Es
ist deshalb bei der Montage auf eine saubere Verarbeitung zu
achten.
Do not use any auxiliary materials (such as lubricant, oil or
grease) during the assembly or while handling the connectors.
Any type of contamination during assembly (from dust,
moisture, etc.) will have a negative impact on the usage duration
and functionality of the system. This is particularly true for the
effectiveness of the sealing and the crimp contacts.
Thus it is very important to carry out the assembly in clean
surroundings.
Gesteckte Teile sind staub- und wasserdicht entsprechend IP 68.
Sie sind aber nicht geeignet für einen dauerhaften Gebrauch
unter Wasser.
Mated components are sealed against ingress of water and dust,
in compliance with IP 68. They are not, however, suitable for
long-term usage under water.
Nicht gesteckte Steckverbinder sollten mit einer Verschlusskappe
48-CX 9X vor Feuchtigkeit und Schmutz geschützt werden.
Connectors in unmated condition should be protected from
humidity and dirt by covering them with a protective
cap 48-CX 9X.
Dem Anwender obliegt es, geeignete Leitungen auszuwählen
und einzusetzen. Eine Auswahl durch Lumberg freigegebener
Leitungen finden Sie im Internet unter www.lumberg.com. Von
der Verwendung nicht durch Lumberg freigegebener Leitungen
wird abgeraten; eine wie auch immer geartete Gewährleistung
wird nicht übernommen. Es dürfen zudem ausschließlich
Kupferleitungen verwendet werden.
It is the user’s responsibility to choose and use suitable cables. A
choice of cables approved by Lumberg can be found on the
Internet at www.lumberg.com. Using of non approved cables are
discouraged from Lumberg, any kind of warranty will not be
accepted. Only copper wire cables must be used.

anderen Komponente eingebaut, muß der Anwender dafür

the used tension (voltage), with reference to the material group

Vorbereitung der Leitung

schnitten werden.

Crimping process

Klemmbügel (K) öffnen und
festhalten.
Kontakt je nach Querschnitt in
die zugehörige Aufnahme
einlegen. Die Crimplaschen
müssen dabei nach oben
zeigen.
Klemmbügel (K) loslassen. Der
Kontakt ist jetzt fixiert.

Open clamp (K) and hold.
Insert the contact into the
locator suitable for the chosen
cross section. The crimping lugs
must face upwards.
Release clamp (K). The contact
is now fixed.








Abisoliertes Kabel einführen bis
die Isolierung an den Crimp-
Einsatz anschlägt.
Crimpzange komplett
schließen.

Insert the stripped cable until
the insulation abuts against the
crimping insert.
Close the crimping tool
completely.








Assembly of the connectors

Steckverbinder durch die
Chassisplattenöffung schieben
und Verschraubung (Mutter)
„handfest“ anziehen.
Das Anzugsdrehmoment liegt
bei 0,8-1,1Nm

Push the connector through
the chassis port and tighten the
hexagonal nut hand-tight.
The tightening torque is
0,8–1,1Nm.










Den angecrimpten Kontakt von
der Gewindeseite in den
Stecker bzw. in die Kupplung
einführen.

Einrasten hineindrücken

Insert the crimped contact into
the plug or the socket.
Press in the contact until
snapped in hearably.












Kontakttiefe mit dem Entriege-
lungswerkzeug LC4-CX 93
prüfen. Prüfstift bis zum
Anschlag in den Stecker oder
die Kupplung einstecken.
Bei korrekter Montage des
Kontaktes muss die Markie-
rungslinie am Prüfstift noch
sichtbar sein, bei Kupplungen
die erste Markierung (A), bei
Steckern die zweite Markie-
rung (B).
Sollte kein Entriegelungswerk-
zeug LC4-CX 93 vorhanden
sein, muss die Kontakttiefe mit
einem alternativen Messmittel
überprüft werden:
Stecker 10,7 mm+0,6/-0,2,
Kupplung 3,25 mm+0,6.


Check the depth of the contact
using the unlocking tool LC4-
CX 93. Insert a test pin into the
plug or socket until it reaches
the end position.
If the contact has been proper-
ly assembled, then the marking
must still be visible on the test
pin, first marking (A) for
sockets, second marking (B) for
plug.
If the unlocking tool LC4-CX 93
is not availlable, the contact
depth must be verified using an
alternative measurement tool:
plug 10,7 mm+0,6/-0,2,
socket 3,25 mm+0,6.



(LC4-CP 11) bis zum hörbaren
Einrasten zusammendrücken.
Korrektes Einrasten durch
Ziehen an den Steckverbindern
(nicht am Kabel ziehen!)
kontrollieren.
Mate the plug (LC4-CP 10 or
LC4-CP 10 IT) with the socket
(LC4-CP 11) and press until
snapped in hearably. Pull on
the connectors (do not pull on
the cable!) to make sure that
they have snapped in properly.

The plug LC4-CP 10 can be
disconnected from a socket by
hand or by using the LC4-CX 93
unlocking tool.
Press together and release the
locking latches using your
fingers or the pegs on the
unlocking tool. Then pull the
connectors apart and separate
them from each other.

Der Stecker LC4-CP 10 IT
kann nur mit dem Ent-
riegelungswerkzeug LC4-CX 93
von einer Kupplung getrennt
werden.
Die beiden Zapfen des Entrie-
gelungswerkzeugs in die
Rastfenster der geschlossenen
Steckverbindung positionieren.
Das Entriegelungswerkzeug
zusammendrücken und so die
Rastlaschen entriegeln. An-
schließend die Steckverbinder
auseinanderziehen und vonei-
nander trennen.
The plug LC4-CP 10 IT can
only be disconnected
from a socket by using the
LC4-CX 93 unlocking tool.
Position both pegs of the un-
locking tool into the locking
windows of the locked connec-
tion. Close the unlocking tool
in order to release the locking
latches. Then pull the connec-
tors apart and separate them
from each other.
Nach dem Versuch einer
gewaltsamen Trennung
der Steckverbindung ist die
Entriegelung der Verbindung
selbst mit einem passenden
Werkzeug nicht in jedem Fall
möglich (Schutz gegen Manipu-
lation).
If an attempt has been
made to forcefully un-
mate the connection, it may no
longer be possible to unmate
the connectors, not even with
the suitable tool (protection
against manipulation).
