4. Quality assurance
For all working and proce ing tep and alteration (e.g. product launch, change of the
cable, change of the tool or machine…), which may affect the product quality, the
re pon ible department have to take care for appropriate quality a urance tep .
4.1. Quality features
The following quality feature mu t be taken into con ideration:
•Stripping
•A embly equence
•Location of eal
•Tightening torque
•Important recommendation and notice
4.2. Stripping
The u er mu t en ure that the individual wire trand are not damaged during the
tripping proce . The tripping length pecified in ection 2 mu t be maintained.
A tolerance of ± 1 mm i permitted.
4.3. Assembly sequence
Follow the preci e order of a embly a de cribed in ection 2.
4.4. Location of seals
The u er mu t en ure that the eal are po itioned at their end po ition .
4.5. Tightening torques
U e the tightening torque pecified in ection 2. The e al o apply to the crewing with the
counterpart.

4.6. Important recommendations and notices
Any u e of auxiliary ub tance (lubricant , oil, fat , etc.) during the a embly i not
permitted. Any type of contamination during a embly (from du t, moi ture, etc.) will
have a negative impact on the life pan and functionality of the y tem. Thu , it i very
important to carry out the a embly in clean urrounding .
5. Storage
Tin-plated and ilver-plated urface can undergo a phy ical aging proce that may
negatively affect their ability to be oldered. In order to maintain the be t connection
characteri tic , make ure that the following in truction are clo ely followed during
additional proce ing tep :
Storage condition :
The part hould ideally be tored in the original packaging, at a con tant temperature of
21 – 25° C, with a relative humidity of no more than 55%. The component hould not be
expo ed to direct light. They hould al o be protected from any extreme ambient
condition ( uch a air pollution).
The torage time hould be kept a hort a po ible, e pecially for ilver-plated
component and for older connection in general. Our experience i that tin-plated
component can be oldered for about a year after delivery when u ing the proper
conventional flux. Silver-plated component , owing to their phy ical characteri tic , hould
be proce ed within about ix month of delivery.
The e pecification are ba ed on experience u ing component tored under optimal
condition . They do not con titute a binding commitment for the fulfillment of any
characteri tic .
