GROUND SPIKE INSTALLATION:
IMPORTANT
It is extremely important not to force the ground spike into harder ground as this
can result in broken or damaged lights and will invalidate the warranty. Please
follow the guidelines below
A four-fin anchor spike has been included for securing the
LUXROX into soft ground, measuring 150mm in length and
30mm in diameter.
Mounting into Earth: Soak the area with water until the
spike locations becomes wet mud, to a depth of 170mm.
Attach the spike to the threaded socket provided on the
LUXROX base and gently push into the wet mud. If there is
resistance, add a little more water to soften the earth. Once
dry, the ground spike will be secure.
Mounting into Grass: Remove a small area of turf. Follow the “Mounting into Earth”
instructions above.
Mounting into Gravel or Stones: Dig a hole 100mm in diameter and 170mm deep. Fill with
wet sand. Attach the spike to the threaded socket provided on the LUXROX base and gently
push into the wet sand. Push down on the top layer of sand to ensure it is tightly surrounding
the spike. Once the sand is dry, the light will be secure.
CLEANING:
Occasional cleaning and care is recommended for this product to avoid a build-up of grime
common in an outdoor environment. Simply wipe clean with a damp, soft cloth to remove
excess dirt. Do not scrub the exterior or use abrasive cleaners as this could damage the finish.
