IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

no hidden utility lines before drilling,
driving screws, or to insert stake.
2. Place/mount the LED Rope to prevent
tripping or choking. Keep out of reach
of young children and babies.
3. Install only according to these instructions.
Improper installation can create hazards.
4. Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and
heavy-duty work gloves during installation.
5. Keep installation area clean and well lit.
6. Keep bystanders out of the area during installation.
7. Do not install when tired or when under
the influence of drugs or medication.
8. This product is not a toy. Do not allow
children to play with or near this item.
9. Use as intended only.
10. Contains Li-Ion battery. Battery must be
recycled or disposed of properly. Do not open,
crush, heat above 140° F or incinerate.
11. Maintain product labels and nameplates.

Installation Instructions
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this document
including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.
Selecting a Location
Choose a location for the Rope Light where the Solar Panel can receive full, direct sunlight a minimum of 8 hours
a day; even partial shade will greatly hinder charging and therefore limit operation time. The location should not
be near nighttime light sources such as porch lights or streetlights as this will cause the Solar Light to remain off.
The Solar Panel is provided with a 6ft wire lead to aid in positioning the Solar Panel in its optimum orientation.
Solar Panel Mounting
Stake Mounting
1. Select a ground location to insert the Stake.
2. With a rubber mallet (not included), gently
tap the Stake into the ground.
3. Attach the Hinge Mount on the back of the
Solar Panel onto the top of the Stake.
4. Orientate the Solar Panel for
optimum sunlight exposure.
Wall Mounting
1. Remove the Screw and Nut securing the Hinge
Mount to the back of the Solar Panel.
2. Place the Hinge Mount in the desired
location on the wall and mark the mounting
hole locations onto the wall.
3. Screw the Hinge Mount to the wall with the Wall
Screws; if mounting to sheetrock, drill holes in the
marked locations appropriate for the Wall Anchors.
4. Insert the Wall Anchors into the holes, align the
holes in the Hinge Mount base with the Anchors,
and secure it in place with the Wall Screws.
5. Reattach the Solar Panel to the Hinge
Mount with the Screw and Nut.

Rope Light Mounting
Ground Mounting
1. The LED Rope can be left loose
or secured to the ground.
2. Route the LED Rope in the desired location; if
desired, secure the LED Rope to the ground
using appropriate hardware (not included).
Alternative Mounting
1. The LED Rope can be secured to a wall or object.
2. Wall Mounting: Mount the LED Rope to a wall
using appropriate hardware (not included).
Use Caution when mounting as walls often
have hidden wiring and plumbing.
3. Object Mounting: Mount the LED Rope to an object
by wrapping the LED Rope around the object or
using appropriate hardware (not included). Use
Caution when mounting with hardware as the object
may have wiring, plumbing, or other hidden hazards.
Operation Instructions
1. For best results, allow sunlight to charge
the Solar Panel while it is turned OFF for
at least 8 hours before powering on.
2. Press the Power Button to turn the unit ON.
Note: The Solar Panel is equipped with a
light sensor, so it will need to be covered
or dark for the LED lights to turn on.
3. Press the Mode Button to select operation mode.
Mode sequences display approximately ten seconds.
Note: The operation mode will need to be
selected again if the unit is powered down.
a. Steady On.
b. Slow Glow.
c. Fast Twinkling.
d. Slow Twinkling.
e. Flashing in Series.
f. Flashing in
Reverse Series.
g. Fast Flashing
in Series
h. Slow Flashing in
Series followed by
Reverse Series
and All Off.
Battery Disposal
1. Press the Power Button to turn the Solar Panel OFF.
2. Remove the eight Screws from the back of
the Solar Panel and open the Solar Panel.
3. Remove old Battery.
4. Contains Li-Ion battery. Battery must be
recycled or disposed of properly. Do not open,
crush, heat above 140° F or incinerate.

to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of
