Getting Started
My Fabulous Storyteller already contains all 48 stories starring Suzanne and Ben.
When you turn it on, it will ask you to choose a hero, a setting, a secondary character, and
an object.
At each step, turn the selection wheel to listen to the different options and choose one
by pressing the OK button. Once your four choices are made, the audio story will begin!
When it ends, you can listen to another story.

If your My Fabulous Storyteller won’t turn on, it probably needs to be recharged.
Go to page 15 to learn how to do this.

Les Éditions Lunii, Lunii’s publishing house, offers a catalogue of stories to help
develop children’s auditory memory and enrich their imagination, culture, and

your My Fabulous Storyteller. We offer stories in American and British
English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Flemish, and Russian.
How to Purchase More Lunii Stories
You can consult the Lunii catalogue and buy more audio stories on our website,
www.lunii.com, or via the luniistore, our computer application.
There are several types of stories that each work in a different way.
Create Your Own Stories
Children create their own stories before listening
to them. They can choose a hero, a time period,
or even an animal—the choices vary depending
on the universe for the chosen story pack!
Tip: If you want to quickly make a choice, you can press
the OK button as the question is being asked and you will
immediately hear the options for that question.

Choose Your Own Path
Children make choices throughout the story to de-
cide what happens to the characters.
The choices they make along the way will bring
different results! These stories are generally advised
for older children.
Tip: Do you want to skip part of a story that you’ve already
heard? At any time, you can press the OK button to get to the
next choice in the adventure. Great for testing every alternative
without having to listen to the introduction over and over!
My Quiz Box
Quizzes for every level on a diverse range
of topics featuring general knowledge
questions for children to answer on their
own or with the whole family.
Tip: Three choices are offered for each question. If you
answer correctly, you will move on to the next ques-
tion. If your answer is wrong, you will be asked the
question again for another chance! To skip a question,
just turn the selection wheel.
My Music Box
Turn your My Fabulous Storyteller into a Music
Box! From old-time classics to contemporary favo-
rites, let yourself get carried away by the beat!
Tip: If you’ve already heard a song and want to hear the next
one, press OK to skip to the next song.
My Sound Books
My Fabulous Storyteller adapts to little hands!
Thanks to Lunii’s sound books, they can discover a
wide variety of sounds. Ideal for tickling children’s
ears and sharpening their curiosity.
Tip: Exploring a sound book is easy! Just turn the selection
wheel or press OK to go from one sound to the next. And
don’t forget the last step, which brings all the sounds to-
gether in a story.

Your Lunii Library
A single Lunii account allows you to access your Lunii library on our website,
www.lunii.com, and in the luniistore. When you buy a story pack, it will automatically be
added to your story library in the luniistore.
To add stories to your My Fabulous Storyteller or remove them, connect to the luniistore,
link your My Fabulous Storyteller to your account and click on My Library .
You can link up to 3 My Fabulous Storytellers to one account.
You can add over one hundred stories to your My Fabulous Storyteller.
The luniistore is a computer application that allows you to consult the Lunii
catalogue, purchase story packs and manage the content of your
My Fabulous Storyteller.
The luniistore is available for free for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Surprise!
We are happy to offer you the Sweet Dreams
story pack, which includes 6 sweet, poetic
stories, after you create your Lunii account.
My Fabulous Storyteller can only be associated with one Lunii account at a time
However, if your My Fabulous Storyteller is already associated with an account
A(for example, if you purchased a used device from another person), you can
create an account B, connect the My Fabulous Storyteller to the computer, turn
it on, and link it to account B. This will unlink your My Fabulous Storyteller from
account A and the My Fabulous Storyteller will be reset to its original content
(The Adventures of Suzanne and Ben).
If the content of the My Fabulous Storyteller for account Bis different from
account A, any previous content will be deleted.
You can then add stories from your Lunii Library to account B.

To add stories to your My Fabulous Storyteller or remove them, connect to the
My Library .

Record Your Own Stories
It is also possible to record your own stories with your family
and add them to My Fabulous Storyteller.
With My Lunii Studio, a free mobile app, you can record your stories yourself or ask your
loved ones to tell their own stories that your little Luniians can  nd on their My Fabulous
Storyteller.
Whether the stories come right from your imagination or from your child’s favorite book,
these personal stories will  nd their perfect place in your child’s My Fabulous Storyteller
alongside their favorite Lunii heroes.
Use your regular Lunii account to connect to the application so that your stories will ap-
pear directly in your luniistore library.
The application is available for free on the App Store and Google Play. Download it to-
day!

Standby Mode
If you do not use your My Fabulous Storyteller for more that 5 minutes, it will automatically
go into Standby Mode. Press the OK button to wake it up.
To preserve the life of the battery, we advise that you turn off your My Fabulous Storyteller
after using it, because Standby Mode will still consume energy.
Using My Fabulous Storyteller
Listening to Your Stories
When there are several story packs on your My Fabulous Storyteller:
Once you have added other story packs to your My Fabulous Storyteller, a new step will
appear when you are making your choices.
After turning on your My Fabulous Storyteller, you must choose from the loaded story
packs. Scroll through the various packs with the selection wheel and press OK to choose
the one you want to listen to.
Once you have made your choice, let the My Fabulous Storyteller guide you. If you want to
go back and choose a different story pack, just press the Home button twice.
When there is just one pack on your My Fabulous Storyteller:
If you have just one story pack loaded to your My Fabulous Storyteller, you won’t need to
choose one—it will be chosen automatically.
At Home and On the Go!
Its sturdy construction and small size make My Fabulous Storyteller a perfect companion
for any moment, both at home and on the go. In the car, at the doctor’s of ce, on vaca-
tion—it’s always there for children to use!
The Lunii headphones!
The colorful Octave headphones go perfectly with My Fabulous Storyteller.
Its double jack allows children to listen to stories on their own or with
someone else from the same device.
Find them on our website at www.lunii.com.
• It is the parent’s responsibility to choose appropriate headphones for their
child.
• My Fabulous Storyteller is sold without the Octave headphones.

Battery Usage
When the battery is low, the device will show this logo:
This means it is time to charge your My Fabulous Storyteller.
Plug in the USB-C cable to your My Fabulous Storyteller, then
connect the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or
directly into the USB port of your computer.
A little LED light above the USB port will show you the power status: it will be red
when your My Fabulous Storyteller is charging and turn green when it is fully charged.
It is not possible to use My Fabulous Storyteller while it is charging. When My Fabulous
Storyteller is fully charged, you can use it for 6 to 8 hours.
Tips for charging your My Fabulous Storyteller
Our batteries use lithium-ion technology, which means they last longer, charge
more quickly, and have a longer life.
Battery life is linked to several factors, including the number of charge cycles
and the charging connection used. Here are some tips for charging your device.
• Do not leave your My Fabulous Storyteller with a low battery for a long time.
• Do not charge your My Fabulous Storyteller in a hot environment, expose it to
high temperatures, or leave it in the sun for long periods of time.
An aging battery can contribute to the charging and performance of your
My Fabulous Storyteller.

Repairing My Fabulous Storyteller
If your My Fabulous Storyteller does not seem to be responding or
the error symbol appears, try to turn it off and then back on.
If this does not resolve the problem, connect your My Fabulous
Storyteller to the luniistore, click on My Account under the
My Fabulous Storytellers tab and click “Reset your My Fabu-
lous Storyteller.”
Taking Care of My Fabulous Storyteller
PLEASE NOTE: My Fabulous Storyteller must be operated with care. Avoid bumping
or dropping your device and keep it out of damp or wet environments.
It is important to avoid sudden changes in temperature and not expose your device to
temperatures below 0°C/32°F or above 35°C/95°F.
To clean your device, unplug any cables and turn it off (using the volume knob turned to
the “Off” notch), then wipe it using a soft, slightly dampened, lint-free cloth.
Never use any cleaning products, solvents, alcohol, or abrasive products on your device,
and be careful to not let any moisture, dust, or sand get in any of the device’s openings.

Our Commitments
Made in France
Since October 2020, My Fabulous Storyteller has been made in Bayonne, France. This new
version of My Fabulous Storyteller has been redesigned to be more sustainable over its
entire life cycle: from the raw materials used in production, to packaging, transportation,
distribution, use, and end-of-life. We have analyzed each stage in order to reduce the envi-
ronmental impact through a continuous process of improvement.
This work now allows us to use less plastic, less glue, and fewer screws in the production
of My Fabulous Storyteller. The soft touch effect on the case has also been eliminated in
order to reduce handling of the product in manufacturing and allow for more of the plastic
to be recycled at end-of-life. Other improvements will come over time and with your va-
luable input.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
The cardboard packaging is made from 100% recycled materials and is also made in
France. The use of glue and ink for printing has also been reduced. The packaging has
been redesigned in order to reduce its mass by half, which has allowed us to reduce the
environmental impact of both the materials used and product transportation.
All of the packaging materials (cardboard, plastic, etc.) are not part of the product and
must be kept out of the hands of young children.
Recycling and Gifting
Recycling My Fabulous Storyteller
When your My Fabulous Storyteller reaches the end of its life, take it to a waste collection
center designated by local authorities. This will help with preserving natural resources and
protecting the environment and our health.

Gifting a Used My Fabulous Storyteller
Is your child no longer using their My Fabulous Storyteller? Have you thought about pas-
sing it on to someone else? Your gift will bring joy to another child and you will do so-
mething good for the planet.
When you gift a used My Fabulous Storyteller, don’t forget to give your receipt of pur-
chase to the new owner. You will also remain the sole owner of the stories in your Lu-
nii account. My Fabulous Storyteller will reset to factory settings when the new owner
connects it to their own account.
Lunii is also giving back! Thanks to the support of our community, in 2020 we
were able to give 500 My Fabulous Storytellers to the Fondation Maintenant, the
Les Emplaqués association, and the #ProtegeTonSoignant collective which dis-
tributed them to children in hospitals all over France, Belgium, and Switzerland.
Let’s keep giving back together!

Precautions for Use
Handling
Never use a damaged product. It contains sensitive electronic components and any falls,
shocks to the case, or contact with liquid could damage the device.
Repair
Never open your My Fabulous Storyteller and try to repair it yourself without referring to
the FAQ or receiving instructions from technical support.
Taking apart the device could cause you injury or damage the device.
If your My Fabulous Storyteller is damaged, whether it is not functioning correctly or has
been in contact with liquid, contact Lunii or the vendor from whom you purchased your
device. To learn about our customer support service, visit www.lunii.com.
Charging the Battery
The device charges via a USB cable (5 volts DC), and must only be charged with adult
supervision. All the accessories used to charge the product, including the provided USB
cable, must be regularly checked for any deterioration (frayed cable, damaged plug, etc.).
Any damaged accessories must not be used until they have been repaired or replaced.
The device contains an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can only be replaced
by Lunii. Before initial use of the product, let the battery fully charge for about three hours
in order to obtain optimal results. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the battery. If your
My Fabulous Storyteller has not been used for a while, it may be necessary to recharge
the battery. You can change its contents in the luniistore once the battery has charged.
The My Fabulous Storyteller battery is not designed to be used as a toy and use of My
Fabulous Storyteller by children must be supervised by an adult.
You can disconnect the device and use it even if it is not fully charged. My Fabulous Story-
teller must only be connected to Class 2 electrical equipment bearing the following sym-
bol:

Adult supervision is recommended for children using My Fabulous Storyteller.

You can recharge the battery in two ways:
• By connecting your My Fabulous Storyteller to your computer
• By using a USB power adapter (not included)
To Charge the Battery via Your Computer:
Connect the device to your computer’s USB port using the USB-C cable provided. The
computer must be on and not in standby mode. The device’s status light will remain red
while the battery is charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the light will turn green.
If the status light does not turn on, the device may not be properly connected to a USB
port. Try to connect it to another USB port on your computer.
If you want to charge the battery without using a computer, you can connect the cable to
a USB power adapter (not included).
To Charge the Battery via a USB Power Adapter:
Connect the USB-C cable provided to the power adapter and connect the other end of the
cable to your device. Then plug the adapter into a working electric socket.
To reduce risk of injury or electric shock, it is strongly recommended that you not use the
product while it is charging.
Do not charge the product on a ammable surface or near any ammable materials. All
accessories used to charge the device, included the provided USB cable, must be checked
regularly for any potential deterioration (frayed cable, damaged plug, etc.). Any damaged
accessories must not be used until they have been repaired or replaced.

The battery has a limited number of charge cycles. The battery life and number of cycles
vary based on use. For more information, visit www.lunii.com.
Important Information About the Battery
The battery is not replaceable. The battery must only be handled by Lunii Technical Sup-
port—do not try to replace the battery yourself. Improper use of the battery can result in
chemical burns or overheating to the point of re or explosion.
Be sure to follow the device’s conditions of use as described in this manual in order to
avoid damaging the battery.
The battery must be recycled or discarded separately from household waste. Do not burn
the battery. For more information about recycling, consult the Recycling and Gifting sec-
tion on page 13 of this manual.
The battery is not designed to be taken out. In case of replacement, the battery must be
inserted in correct polarity. The battery terminals must not be short-circuited.

Health Conditions
If you have health conditions that, in your opinion, could be aggravated by the device (such
as epilepsy, dizziness, eyestrain, or headaches), consult your medical provider before using it.
Hearing Advisory
Listening to sounds at a high volume can cause hearing loss. To prevent hearing loss, avoid
listening to your My Fabulous Storyteller at a high volume for long periods of time. Back-
ground noise, as well as repeated exposure to elevated levels of sound, can make sounds
seem quieter than they are in reality. Turn on your My Fabulous Storyteller and check the
volume level before putting a listening device over your ears. For more information regar-
ding controlling the maximum volume of your My Fabulous Storyteller, read the Use and
Controls section on page 4 of this manual. To avoid hearing loss, only use earbuds or
headphones that are compatible with your device.
Explosive Environments
Charging or using your My Fabulous Storyteller in a potentially explosive environment,
such as an area in which the air contains high levels of chemical products, vapors, or  am-
mable particles (like seeds, dust, or metallic powders), can be dangerous. Please follow all
signs and instructions if you are in such an area.
Use of Cables and Ports
If the cable and the USB port do not easily go together, it probably means they are not
compatible. Check that nothing is obstructing the port, then be sure that the cable you are
using is compatible with the port and is in the correct position.
Using the Device in Acceptable Conditions
In order for the device to function correctly, be sure to follow all of the instructions in this
manual. Do not expose your device to sudden changes in humidity or temperatures below
0°C/32°F or above 35°C/95°F.
Product Designed for Indoor Use
Do not use this product in the rain or near liquids. Do not submerge the device in water or
place it on a wet surface. Do not leave the product in the sun or near a strong source of
heat. If sand or dust gets inside the product, it may no longer function properly.
