closingtheawning.Itcomprisesaboxforfullretractionoftheunit(B-Fig.1),acassetteprole(C-Fig.
1),mechanicalextensiblearms(D-Fig.1)equippedwithsheathedwiresorastainlesssteelchainanda
rewindertube.

Thefunctionoftheawningistoprotectagainstsunlightandtocontrolreverberationinthespaceunderitsloca-
tion.Theproduct,withpre-xedinstallation,isintendedexclusivelyforupanddownmovementofthefabric,for
reachingandremaininginpositionsofmaximumopeningandclosingandpossiblyintermediateones.
Theawningmustonlybeusedasdescribedabove,evenifpackagedinwaterproofcanvasesorinPVC.The
awningmaybeusedbynon-professionaloperatorsprovidedtheyare

The packaging materials must be disposed of and/or recycled in compliance with current standards in the
countryinwhichtheproductistobeused.

Thecanvasmustbecleanedtopreventtheformationofmouldcausedbydustandothermaterialsdepositedon
thecanvas.Itcanbeperformedusingavacuumcleaner,orwithadampspongeorclothandlukewarmwater.
Leavethecanvastodryaftercleaning.
Cleaningwithladders,scaffoldingandsoforthistobeperformedonlybyspecializedpersonnel.Theymust
complywithsafetystandardsandusepersonalprotectiveequipmentsuchassafetyharnesseswithropes.
Theoperationsdescribedhereunder,ifperformedasscheduled,willkeeptheproductingoodcondition.
Thecanvasmustbeinspectedfortearsorbreaksinthestitching.Dothisinthespring,priortosummeruse,and
intheautumn,priortowinterclosing.
Lubricatemovingpartswithsiliconlubricatingoil,withtheawningabouthalfwayopen:
▪ Ifthearmsareequippedwiththem,lubricatethechain,theswivel(A-Fig.3)andtheshoulder(B-Fig.4).

theguaranteeisautomaticallyvoided.
Theoperationsaretobeperformedwiththeawningcompletelywoundup.
,disconnectthesystem downstream of thedisconnectingswitch,
disconnectthemotor,tiethearmsinplace,releasethesupportsandremovetheawningfromthesupports.
The awning is not made of materials that are considered hazardous.There are no special requirements for
scrappingitordisposingofit.
Complywiththestandardsinforceatthemomentofdismantlingtheawningwhendisposingofit.
TheArmonyawningincludesthefollowingoptionsavailableonrequest:
▪ :todetectstrongwinds(onlyiftheawingismotorized);
▪ :todetectheavyrain(onlyiftheawingismotorized);
▪ :todetectpresenceofsunlight(onlyiftheawningismotorized);
