Remote Control and must be set to the same ON/OFF
combination as the House Code DIP switches in all
other System Devices.
3. The Jumper Link is used to enable/disable the Personal
Attack Switch (PAS) dependent on which type of Alarm
System is in use.
If used with a Siren-controlled Alarm System (i.e. a
system without a separate Control Panel), the jumper
link located immediately below the House Code DIP
switches must be removed for the PAS to work.
If your System has a separate Control Panel then this
link must be fitted in place for the PAS to work.
4. Remove the battery from its packaging and insert it under
the clip, ensuring that the + terminal faces upwards away
from the PCB.
5. Replace the rear cover and fixing screw.
Testing the Remote Control
System in normal operating mode
The operation of the Remote Control should be tested with
the system in normal operating mode to ensure that the
new Remote Control will successfully communicate with the
system and the Arm and Disarm functions operate
correctly. Also check by activating the PAS on the Remote
to initiate an alarm condition.
Refer to your System Installation and Operating Manual for
further details on operating and testing the system.
