FFF: Fuse Filament Fabrication, the 3D printing process used by this machine and based on
the principle of depositing melted material in layers.
3D Printing: An additive manufacturing process.
Delta Geometry: A robot architecture with 3 parallel axes that moves in a three -dimensional,
cylindrical space.
Toolhead: Tool carried in the toolholder affecting raw material state to dispense it to generate
the part.
Extruder: Motorized part that feeds the build material (filament) into the toolhead.
Hotend: The lower part of the toolhead that reaches high temperatures. Do not touch the
hotend during operation; risk of burns.
Coldend: The upper portion of the toolhead that is actively cooled to limit heat spreading from
the hotend.
Nozzle: Cone-shaped metallic part located at the lowest tip of the hotend. The diameter of
the nozzle determines the extrusion width and restricts the maximal layer height.
Heated build plate: Build platform located in the lower portion of the machine. Hot zone,
hazardous during operation. Ensures maximum adhesion of the print. Prevents warping and
layer delamination.
G-code: Standard machine command language used by the S600D.
Firmware: Computer code flashed onto the machine controller board.
Slicer: Computer software that generates G-code from a 3D file.
STL: 3D file format commonly used for 3D printing.
Autoleveling: Automatic calibration and leveling of the print bed.

Place the machine on a platform such as a desk or workbench. This platform must:
be a minimum of 60 and a maximum of 85 cm high,
be able to continuously and comfortably support a minimum weight of 250 kg,
be sufficiently firm and level in order to correctly support the machine.
Keep the work area clean and well-lit.
As a precaution, place the machine close to an air vent and in an area with low frequentation.
No special power supply is required.
Hot zone:The hot surface sign indicates the presence of components
with high temperatures. Always use caution and wear safety gloves
when working near hot components.
Safety footwear (not provided): When handling the device, wear
safety shoes to help prevent injuries.
Gloves (not provided):When performing certain maintenance
procedures, the components may be hot. Wear heat-resistant safety
gloves to avoid burns.

While the machine is in operation, do not disconnect the power supply/ do not
move the machine/ do not try to open the door/ do not try to access the print
zone.
Carefully read this manual before operating, performing maintenance tasks ,
moving or interacting in any way with the 3D printer.
Any modification or adjustment that has not been expressly approved by the
manufacturer or its designated representative may void the warranty .
Do not modify the environmental conditions in any way that could damage the
machine.
Before using or touching the machine, the user or operator must first put on heat-
resistant safety gloves (not supplied).
Do not lean on the machine. Do not interfere with the stability of the machine.
The machine contains moving parts that are potentially dangerous. Never reach
inside the machine during operation.
For monitoring puroposes, an operator must stay near the machine while it is
running.
Do not print with materials that have not been approved by LYNXTER for the
S600D.

The S600D is equipped with the following safety features to protect the user:
An indicator light located at the edge of the build plate indicates that the temperature
of a component inside the machine is over 50°C. When this light is on, you must wear
gloves that resist to temperatures of up to 500°C when touching the machine.
A door-locking mechanism prevents access to the build area during printing. When
pressed, an indicator light located on the door button uses the follo wing color codes
to show the state of the machine:
oGREEN: The door is unlocked, press again to open.
oORANGE: Printing is in progress. The door can only be opened if the print-job is
paused via the control interface. Warning, some components may still be hot
when the door is opened.
oWHITE: The machine is powered on. Warning, some components may still be
hot when the door is opened.

Printing can be launched in one of two ways, the main characteristics of which are outlined
below:
1. Printing via the LYNXTER WEB CONTROL interface (recommended). This is the
preferred solution if you have access to a LAN using Ethernet (from a computer, tablet
Create a 3D model and save it as an
STL file
Download a model in STL format
directly from a repository of 3D
models.
Import and position the STL file(s)
in the 3D printing software
(Simplify 3D)
Generate the “G-code”
Choose a print profile (.fff file)
and define your FFF settings for
each of the models
Save the “G-code”in a dedicated
folder.
Import the file in the machine
via the Web interface
Launch the print via the

or smartphone) It enables import-export of files and total control of the machine in
optimal conditions.
2. Printing directly from the touchscreen on the machine. This is the preferred solution for
standalone printing. No additional devices are required.

The installation package is available for download from:
https://ressources.techno.lynxter.fr/
This package includes default profiles to simplify your first prints.
Note:
LYNXTER does not provide the computer hardware required for the installation .
The software must be installed on a computer with an Internet connection ; An Internet
connection is needed to download the software installation package and updates
(subsequently available online).
If your computer does not have an Internet connection, please inform us of this when you place
your order and/or set up your machine.

To install the G-code generation software (Simplify3D) on your computer, open the installation
file received with your machine, or download the installer directly from the Simplify3D website.
You will need the Simplify3D license key received with your machine.
To begin the installation, run the
Setup.exe
file as administrator.
A window with a setup wizard opens. Follow the prompts to set up your machine to work with
Simplify3D.
When the installation is complete, you will be required to log in and provide the license key
when starting the program for the first time.

The S600D has both a USB port and an Ethernet port. Because transmission speeds via
Ethernet are much faster, you should control the machine via the Lynxter Web Control interface
(Ethernet) rather than the USB port. The USB port is dedicated to accessories.
Connect the machine to the PC via the Ethernet cable.
Open the Windows control panel and click on Network and Sharing Center.
