6. Water and moisture: Do not use this apparatus near water.
7. Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings.
8. Heat: Do not install near heat sources such as radiators or other apparatus that produces heat.
9. Protect power cord: Power cord should be placed so that it is not likely to be walked on or pinched
by items placed upon it. Do not use the apparatus if power cord is damaged.
10. Cleaning: Unplug power cord before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use
a damp cloth for cleaning.
11. Nonuse periods: Unplug the power cord if apparatus is left unused for a long period of time.
12. Objects and liquids: Care should be taken so that object do not fall and liquids are not spilled into
the enclosure through the openings.
13. Damage requiring service: The apparatus should be serviced by qualified service personnel
when:
A. Objects has fallen inside enclosure.
B. The apparatus has exposed to rain or moisture.
C. The apparatus has been dropped or enclosure is damaged.
D. The apparatus do not operate normally.
14. Servicing: Refer all servicing to the qualified service personnel.
15. Warranty: Warranty service should be done by qualified service personnel authorized by Madboy
Audio International Oy. Warranty is invalidated if a warranty seal has been altered, removed or
defaced or inadequate repair work performed by end user or any non-authorized repair center.

SERIAL NO.:
1. LINE IN: Stereo RCA input connectors for the audio source (mixer, karaoke player, home theater).
These inputs mix the left and right channel. If your audio source have mono output or subwoofer
output, you can connect using single RCA cable.
2. LINE OUT: Stereo RCA output for connecting another subwoofer or active speakers.
3. VOLUME: Adjust the volume of the subwoofer. Set to 0 when first time turning on and adjusting the
system.
4. L.P.F (Low Pass Filter): Adjust high frequency cutoff point. If rotated fully clockwise, it cuts high
frequencies above 150 Hz. Rotated fully counterclockwise, it cuts high frequencies above 50 Hz.
5. PHASE: Adjust the subwoofer’s output phase so it can be set to match the main speakers phase.If
the subwoofer were to play out of phase with the main speakers, the sound waves from the main
speakers could partially cancel out the sound waves from the subwoofer, reducing bass performance.
6. HIGH LEVEL INPUT: High level input for class AB amplifier. If your amplifier doesn’t have dedicated
subwoofer outputs or line outputs, you can connect the audio from amplifier’s high level speaker
outputs. Note! Class-D amplifier can not be connected using high level input because class D
amplifier needs floating load (speaker).
7. POWER LIGHT: Turns on when the power is turned on from the power switch.
8. POWER SWITCH: Turns the subwoofer on (I) or off (O).
9. POWER INPUT: Connect the power cable here.

1. Connect the line level audio source to LINE IN.
2. Connect the power cord to power input in the back panel and to mains power outlet.
3. Turn on the subwoofer by setting the main power switch to I position.

4. Adjust the volume until the sound of the subwoofer complements the soundscape of the main
speakers as desired.
5. Adjust the Low Pass Filter (L.P.F) setting. Turn clockwise to increase frequency range the subwoofer
plays. If bass seems too strong in certain frequencies, try a lower L.P.F setting. Note! In case you are
adjusting the LPF from your home theather amplifier, set this fully clockwise (150 Hz).
6. Adjust the phase to match the phase of the main speakers. First set the phase to 0 and play music. °
Then turn it fully clockwise to 180°. Set it to point where you will get the loudest bass.

Notice:
ŸIf your audio source has mono or subwoofer output, you can connect using single RCA cable.
ŸIf your amplifier doesn’t have line output or subwoofer output, you can connect from
amplifier’s high level speaker output to subwoofer’s high level input using speaker cable.
ŸDo not connect audio to both LINE IN and HIGH LEVEL INPUT. Use only one of them.
