
First use
• Remove the device and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers, protective lm or plastic from the
device.
• Before you use the device for the rst time, clean the device with a damp cloth.
• Clean the dough hooks and whisks in warm water and washing-up liquid.
• Thoroughly dry the device, dough hooks and whisks.
• Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge or steel wool; these damage the
device.
• Make sure that the speed control switch 4 is set to the 0 position.
• Before connecting the device to the mains power, insert the dough hooks 7or whisks 8in the apertures 2
until they lock in place. The hook with washer must be inserted into the larger aperture.
• Connect the device to the mains power.
• NOTE! When using the device for the rst time, a slight odour might occur, this is normal. The odour will
disappear after a few minutes. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Power ON/OFF
• When the device is connected to the mains power, make sure that the speed control switch 4 is set to the 0
position.
• Switch on the device by setting the speed control switch 4to position 1 to 5.
• The device can be set to 5 dierent speeds using the speed control switch 4. Speed 1 is the lowest speed,
speed 5 is the highest.
• The device is equipped with a turbo knob 5. The turbo allows you to set the highest available speed while
exerting pressure. The turbo only works when the speed is set to the minimum position 1.
• Switch the device o by setting the speed control switch 4 to the 0 position.
• Then remove the power plug from the mains power.
Using the device
• Before each use, make sure the device is clean and dry.
• When mixing, place the bowl on a at, stable surface, in a place where it cannot fall over.
• The device is suitable for stirring, beating and mixing soft foods and liquids.
• WARNING! Before installing, releasing or changing the dough hooks or whisks of the device,
make sure that the speed control switch is in the 0 position, the rotating parts have reached standstill,
and the power plug has been removed from the mains power!
• Before connecting the device to the mains power, insert the dough hooks 7or whisks 8in the apertures 2
until they lock in place.
• Release the dough hooks 7or whisks 8from the device apertures 2by pressing the eject button 3.
• Use the dough hooks to blend light/medium dough. Only use speed setting 1, 2 or 3 of the speed control when
using the dough hooks (see table below).
• Use the whisks to blend our, dry ingredients, butter, eggs and liquids (see table below). When using the
whisks, speed settings 1 to 5 can be used. The turbo knob 5can also be used and allows you to blend at the
highest available speed while exerting pressure.
• Always switch o the device before removing the dough hooks or whisks from the bowl.
