equipment’s safety). Before operating the equip-
ment for the first time, read these instructions
carefully. If any part of the instructions is unclear,
contact your reseller or MAHLE Aftermarket Italy.
nAny contact of the equipment with water or
fluids is forbidden. When using the equip-
ment, do not stay in the same room/vehicle
(due to discomfort and health hazards).
nIt is essential to prevent the ozone produced
by the equipment from escaping from the
vehicle/room in order to avoid serious risks
to the health of personnel working or pass-
ing near the device/vehicle/room.
nThis equipment (inside) belongs to high
voltage products, should be placed safely
and well ventilated.
nThe air flow shall not be blocked by foreign
bodies or metal inserts, in order to avoid
electric shock and reduce the product per-
formance.
nCompany in charge of equipment main-
tenance shall not modify any part of the
equipment or its mechanical and electronic
performance.
nThe machine power supply wiring must
be conducted in accordance with national
wiring rules, and the power supply cord to
external reliable grounding wire connection
(if the 110-230 VAC power accessory is
used).
Workplace: The equipment operates with inter-
nal generation of O3 ozone.
O3 ozone, this substance is fatal if inhaled, caus-
es severe skin burns and eye damage, causes
damage to organs through prolonged or repeat-
ed exposure, is very toxic to aquatic life with long
lasting effects, may cause or intensify fire (oxi-

This appliance (equipment) cannot be used by
children and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge. Children shall not play
with the appliance (equipment). Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children.
3.1
Definitions
Dangerous areas: Any area within or close to
the equipment implying risk for the safety and
health of exposed persons.
Exposed person: Any person completely or
partially standing in a dangerous area.
Operator: The person/s charged with operating
the machine for its intended purpose.
Classification of operators
The operator can be classified according to two
main categories, which, in some cases, refer to
one single person:
1. The operator charged with the equipment op-
eration has the duty to:
nStart and check the machine automatic
operation;
nCarry out simple setting operations;
nRemove the causes of equipment stop
without opening the case.
2. Maintenance technician: a technician
trained by a MAHLE authorised service centre,
capable of working on the equipment’s mechan-
ical and electrical components with its guards
open to make adjustments and to service and
repair it with equipment not connected to power
line socket.
User: Body or person legally responsible for the
equipment.
3.2
Personal safety informa-
tion
The equipment is particularly simple and reliable
due to its functions. We recommend to follow
the following prescriptions during the use of the
equipment to avoid hazards for the operator.
