IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse hand mixer body or cord in the
water or other liquid. If hand mixer body or cord falls into liquid, unplug the cord fromoutlet
immediately. Do notreach into the liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when mixer is used by or near children.
4. Unplug from outlet whennot in use, before putting on or taking off parts andbefore
cleaning.
5. Avoid contacting moving parts.
6. Do notoperate mixer with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance

12. Remove beaters from mixer before washing.
13. Do not use mixer for other than intended use.
14. Do notoperate the unit continuously for more than 3 minutes at each time. Letunit
cool for at least 20 minutes before next use.
15. Do not fill the mixing container to more thanhalf of its capacity.
16. Do not mix hot ingredients.
17. To avoid overheating, do not mix breaddough or similar viscosity.
18.Never add ingredients to the container while the mixer is running.

LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on cord or appliance.
2. To insert plug,grasp firmly andguide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance,grasp plug andremove from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If anyare found,
this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced.

5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on

POLARIZED PLUG:
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk
of electric shock, thisplug is intended to fit into a polarizedoutlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it still doesnot fit, contact
a qu alified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

HOW TO USE
ATTACHING BEATERS: Be sure appliance is unplugged. Align notches on beaters with
slots in hand unit, and push until they lock in place. Insert plug into any standard
household outlet. Place beater directly into container holding ingredients to be mixed. Set
the speed control lever to the 1 (Low) position to start mixing, then increase to 2
(Low-Medium), 3 (Medium), 4 (Medium-High) or 5 (High).
REMOVING BEATERS: Slide speed control to “0”
position. Unplug appliance. Push down on the eject
button to eject beaters.
BEATER STORAGE CLIP: To store thebeaters
together with the hand mixer, use thebeater storage
clip. Snap the beaters onto the beater storage clip, then
insert the beater storage clip into the slots (holes) in the
mixer unit.

HEEL REST: The integrated heelrest allows the mixer to rest on the countertop.
BOWL SUPPORT: Allows mixer to fall into the mixing bowl rather than on the countertop
by resting the hand mixer over the mixingbowl with the integrated bowl support.
This hand mixer is capable of blending several ingredients. Simply placebeaters in
containerholding ingredients, and switch on. Use the mixer to make cakes, pies, whipped
topping and much more. The 5 speeds allow you to mix a variety of
foods.

USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no userserviceable parts. Do not try
to repair it yourself. Refer it to qualifiedpersonnel if servicing is needed.
TO CLEAN:NEVER IMMERSE MOTOR HOUSING IN WATER. First, be sure unit is
unplugged. Eject beaters from the unit andwashnormally. Wipe motor housing with a
damp cloth or sponge.
TO STORE: Unplug unit; store in its box inaclean, dry place. Never storewhile it is hot or
plugged in. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Do notputany stress on the
cordwhere it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

This product carries a warranty that it will be free fromdefects in material and
workmanship for a period of oneyear from the date of purchase. This warranty is valid for

MEDIDAS DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES
Cuando se utilizan electrodomésticos, se deben tomar unas medidas de seguridad

1. LEA TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES ANTES DE USAR EL APARATO.

CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD DEL CABLE DE ALIMENTACIÓN

ENCHUFE POLARIZADO:

CÓMO USAR
COLOCAR LAS PALETAS BATIDORAS: Asegúrese de que el aparato esté
desenchufado. Alinee las pestañas en las paletas con las ranuras ubicadas en la unidad
manual y presionehasta quequeden fijadas en su lugar.
Inserte el enchufe en cualquier tomacorriente doméstico estándar. Coloque las paletas
directamente en el recipiente que contenga los ingredientes a batir. Coloque el nivel de
control de velocidad en la posición 1 (bajo) para empezar a batir, Iuegoaumente a 2 (bajo
-medio), 3 (medio),4 (medio-alto) o 5 (alto).
RETIRAR LAS PALETAS: Deslice el control de velocidad
en “OFF” o en la posición “O”. Desenchufe el aparato.
Presione el botón de liberación para retirarlaspaletas.
SUJETADOR DE ALMACENAMIENTO PARA BATIDORA:
Paraguardar las batidorascon el mezciador de mano, use
el sujetador de almacenamiento parabatidora. Encaje las
batidoras en el sujetador de almacenamiento, después
inserte éste en las ranuras (huecos) de la unidad de mano.

TALÓN DE APOYO: El talón de apoyo integrado facilita dejar la batidora sobre el mesón.
HENDIDURA DE APOYO DEL TAZÓN: Deje que la masa repose dentro del tazón más
que sobre el mesón, apoyando el mezclador de mano sobre el tazón con la hendidura de
apoyo integrada para el tazón.
Esta batidora manual puede batir varios ingredientes. Simplemente coloque las paletas
batidoras en el recipiente que contiene los ingredientes y encienda. Use la batidora para
hacer tortas, tartas, crema batida, puré de papas y mucho más. Las 5 velocidades le
permitirán batir una variedad de alimentos.
DELAVELOCIDAD DESCRIPCIÓN
1Esta es una buena velocidad de inicio para hacer cremas o
batir claras.
2 Velocidad idónea para ingredientes líquidos.
3 Para hacer mezclas de pasteles.

INSTRUCCIONES DE MANTENIMIENTO
Este aparato requiere muy poco mantenimiento. No incluye en su interior piezas que
puedan ser reemplazadas por el usuario. No trate de reparar el aparato por su cuenta. En
caso de requerir alguna reparación, solicite los servicios de personal cualificado.
LIMPIEZA:NUNCA SUMERJA LA UNIDAD DE MOTOR EN EL AGUA. Antes de todo,
asegúrese de que la unidad está apagada. Eyecte las varillas batidoras de la unidad y
lávelas de la manera habitual. Limpie el exterior de la unidad de motor con una paño o
esponja húmeda.
ALMACENAMIENTO: Desenchufe el aparato, métalo en su caja y guárdelo en un lugar
limpio y seco. Nunca lo guarde cuando esté caliente o enchufado. Nunca enrolle el cable
con fuerza alrededor del aparato. No tense demasiado el cable por la sección que se
introduce a la unidad, ya que podría el cable podría deshilacharse o romperse.
