Step 1 – preparations
1.1 Prepare the tools and put on your necessary safety clothing
1.2 Cover the floor with blankets / soft lining / protection tiles in order to prevent eventual product or floor damages
1.3 Unpack the product and lay it down safely on the prepared floor
1.4 Check carefully if any of the delivered items are damaged or missing (a list of components can be found above)

2.1
Assembling the front frame
Attention! Lacquered parts of the goal are fragile! Please assemble them on a flat,
debris-free surface (preferably on a carpet or other soft lining).
Assemble the crossbar using:
1) Crossbar (6) – 1 pcs
2) Goalpost left (4) – 1 pcs
3) Goalpost right (5) – 1 pcs
4) Connector 90x15x6 (15) – 1 pcs
5) Hex socket button cap screw (23) – 8 pcs

Connect hinges (right and left one) to the pre-assembled frame using
1) Right hinge (12) – 1 pcs
2) Left hinge (13) – 1 pcs
3) DIN 557 M8 square nut (24) – 8 pcs
4) DIN 933 hex-head bolt M8x14 (29) – 8 pcs

Assembling the floats
2.3.1
Install the p
ositioning sleeve
to the floats using:
1) Positioning sleeve (9) – 2 pcs
2) Right float (1) – 1 pcs
3) Left float (2) – 1 pcs
4) Clamping plate (14) – 2 pcs
5) DIN 912 Hex socket cap screw M10x100 (28) – 2 pcs
6) DIN 125 10,5 A4 stainless steel washer (17) – 2 pcs
7) DIN 985 M10 nut (18) – 2 pcs
Join together side and rear floats:

In the
rear float (3) you will find 4 screws and 4 nuts pre
-
assembled. Loosen the nuts and remove the screws:

Move the rear float into the side ones:

Move the 80x40 mm rectangular profile towards the front
to hide it below the float’s casing:

Screw the previously removed bolts with nuts tightly

Additionally secure the connection of floats with the
following bolts:
1) DIN 985 M8 nut (21) – 4 pcs
2) DIN 9021 A8,4 enlarged stainless steel washer (22)
– 8 pcs
3) DIN 912 Hex socket cap screw M8x25 (26) – 4 pcs

Conne
ct the bottom reinforcing strut (7) to the side floats using:
1) DIN 557 M8 square nut (24) – 6 pcs [place them in
the aluminum profile’s groove]
2) DIN 7991 hex socket countersunk head cap screws
M8x20 (32) – 6 pcs
Keep the distance of 520 mm between the outer edge of the
float and the front edge of the support tube’s plate.

Assembling the net support
Connect the straight tube (10) with the L
-
shaped tube (11) using:
1) DIN 985 M8 nut (21) – 4 pcs
2) DIN 912 Hex socket cap screw M8x45 (27) – 4 pcs
End result:

Assembling the front frame with floats
Use the following parts to connect the goal’s frame with
the pre-assembled floats:
1) DIN 127 A8 spring washer (20) – 2 pcs
2) DIN 985 M8 nut (21) – 2 pcs
3) DIN 6912 socket head screws (low head) M8x55
(30) – 2 pcs
4) DIN 9021 ø10 enlarged washer (plastic) (23) – 2
pcs
Put the plastic cap (34) on the nut.

Connect the previously assemble tubes (10) & (11) to the:
Front frame using:
1) DIN 125 A8,4 washer (19) – 2 pcs
2) DIN 985 M8 nut (21) – 2 pcs
3) DIN 6912 socket head screws (low head) M8x60 (31) –
2 pcs
4) DIN 9021 ø8 enlarged washer (plastic) (35) – 4 pcs
(place the plastic rings between the tube and hinge, so
it prevents from scratches)
Floats using:
5) Rubber distance pad (37) – 4 pcs
(one pad on each side, with a flat part directed outside)
6) Star knob (M8 inner thread) (38) – 2 pcs
7) Star knob (with M8x60 bolt) (39) – 2 pcs

Connect
the net support side

tubes with the straight pipe (8) using:
1) Rubber distance pad (37) – 8 pcs
2) Star knob (with M8x65 bolt) (40) – 2 pcs

Important notice
The goal can be fold easily to storage position by removing the star-knobs (38 & 39) and by
folding the net support towards the front frame.

Assemble 4 castors (16) to the bas of the goal with the use of:
1) DIN 985 M10 nut (18) – 4 pcs
2) Eyelet screw with metric thread (25) – 4 pcs
3) DIN 9021 A10,5 enlarged washer (A4) – 4 pcs

Use provided “omega” net hooks to install
the net to the goal’s frame and floats, by
placing the net inside the hook and then
putting it into the groove in the profile:
Put one “omega” hook
every second mesh of the

III. Maintenance and Service
To ensure long-lasting and safe use of the equipment, periodical inspections are required:
• Every time before using the equipment:
• Visually check if there are any parts damaged or missing
• Check if all the devices are installed correctly and secured to prevent tilting/moving
• Every 6 months a detailed check-up of the equipment is required:
Visual checkup if any deformities, damages, missing or worn out parts (bolts, nuts, net
hooks, etc.) have occurred. Tighten all assembly nodes (in order to make sure that all screws
and nuts are tightened).
Care and Usage Instruction:
• Only use tools delivered with the goal for periodical tightening of the screws, otherwise the
bolts and nuts may corrode.
• After using the product it is required to wash it with tap water and let it dry before placing it
in a storage room. Only light detergents like dish soap can be used for cleaning. Alcohol-based
detergents might damage the goal.
• It is recommended to dry the goal with paper towels or microfiber cloth after pulling out of the
water and rinsing it with tap water.
• It is required for the goal to be stored in a dry area, preferably in a separate, well ventilated
area.
• If any atypical signs are noticed (for instance squeaky noises, missing elements, or visual da-
mages) immediately stop further usage of the equipment and report the problem to the manu-
facturer or its authorized distributor.
• All portable/floating devices must be installed and operated only by designated and trained
personnel.
WARNING:
Storage and usage shall be so that no unauthorized person or child can acci-
dently be injured by a falling or tilting goal. Usage in the pool; the goal shall be
secured in position by 4 goal lines. In storage; ensure safe locked storage.

IV. TERMS OF WARRANTY
1 General Provisions
1.1 M. MALMSTEN AB (the “Manufacturer”) provides the limited warranty (the “Warranty”) to the
purchaser of the Equipment. Warranty is only valid in the facility in which the Equipment was
originally installed. The Warranty is valid from the time of the final acceptance of the building or
from the date of delivery and to the timeline listed below, under the terms and conditions stated
below.

1.2 The manufacturer warrants the Equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship
which is caused by failure of the Equipment within the applicable Warranty Period.
1.3 In case of a defect discovered, the purchaser is obtained to immediately (not later than after 7
days) inform the manufacturer or authorized distributor about the problem. The manufacturer or
its authorized distributor will answer within 14 days and will propose a way to solve the issue.
1.4 The purchaser is obtained to provide information about failures or defects in writing to

right corner of the crossbar – see picture below), description of the issue and date of discovering
of the defect. Photographic documentation will be required.
1.6 The manufacturer/distributor, once it confirms the existence of a covered defect will (at its sole
discretion) repair or replace the defective parts.
1.7 Defects or damages that occurred during proper use will be repaired or replaced by the manu-
facturer or by the authorized distributor.
1.8 The warranty covers the costs of investigation, production and shipping. Disassembly of the da-
maged and installation of the new/repaired part/parts is not covered.
WARNING:
All unauthorized (not provided by the distributor or manufacturer) self-
repairs, adjustments or interferences in the equipment can cause irreparable
damages and dangerous, life-threatening accidents.

2 Exclusions and Conditions:
• Operations, which shall be made by the user and on his cost, such as maintenance of cleanli-
ness, periodical checkups (as in point 2.1)
• Mechanical and chemical damages caused by improper use and maintenance (i.e. attempts of
self-repair; lack of maintenances and inspections; using inadequate cleaning agents, adjust-
ments made by the user)
• Mechanical damages caused by the excessive burden on the equipment
• Damages caused by the user or third party (including acts of vandalism) hang, swing or climb
on the equipment
• Consumable parts (like nets, net hooks, etc.)
• Damages caused by operation of the equipment by non-authorized persons
• Installation of the equipment not performed in accordance with the assembly manual
• Damages caused by natural disasters such as floods, fire, wind, lightening or other acts of
nature
• Damages caused by usage not in accordance with equipment destination
3 Post-warranty Services
3.1 After the warranty expires, it is recommended to order a professional post-warranty service
performed by the authorized distributor once every 12 months in order to make sure, that the
equipment is in good condition and can be used safely.
3.2 In case of a failure discovered after the time of warranty, the user might inform the manufactu-
rer or it’s authorized distributor about the problem in the same way which is described in point
1.4. The manufacturer or distributor will offer a solution to the problem within 7 days. After the
claim is accepted, both parties will agree on a suitable term of repairs.
LOCATION OF THE SERIAL NUMBER:
The serial number consists of XX/YYYY/ZZZZZ
where:
XX – calendar week of manufacturing
YYYY – year of manufacturing
ZZZZZ – serial number
Removing the sticker will void the warranty.
