I - Preparations
1.1 Prepare the tools and put on your necessary safety clothing
1.2 Cover the floor with blankets / soft lining / protection tiles in order to prevent eventual product
or floor damages
1.3 Unpack the product and lay it down safely on the prepared floor
1.4 Check carefully if any of the delivered items are damaged or missing (a list of components can be
found above)
Please Note: Once the goal is assembled correctly, and upon your next goal inspection (recommended approx.
once a week) you should go over and retighten all bolts.
Certain bolts can benefit from retightening and sometimes the additional application of a product like Loctite.
Loctite, is like a glue, and will lock permanently the bolts in its position.
Loctite can be purchased in most hardware stores.
Important when using Loctite: We ask you to please observe that Loctite should only be used on the bolts high-
lighted in yellow in this document, and Loctite should never be applied to the bolts highlighted in red.

II - Assembly
2.1 Assembling the front frame
Assemble the crossbar using:
1. Crossbar left (1) – 1 pcs
2. Crossbar right (2) – 1 pcs
3. Aluminum connector (10) – 1 pcs
4. Connector 90x15x6 (15) – 1 pcs
5. Hex socket button cap screw (18) – 8 pcs
6. Enlarged washer (32) – 2 pcs
7. Hex socket cap screw M8x12 (23) – 2 pcs
Do not tighten all the screws yet. This
must be done after all the assembly
process is complete.
2.2 Assemble the crossbar with posts using:
1. Pre-assembled crossbar – 1 pcs
2. Post (5) – 2 pcs
3. Aluminum connector (10) – 2 pcs
4. Hex socket button cap screw (18) – 16 pcs
2.3 Assembling the bottom (net support) frame
Assemble the rear bottom frame using:
1. Bottom frame left (3) – 1 pcs
2. Bottom frame right (4) – 1 pcs
3. Aluminum connector (10) – 1 pcs
4. Connector 90x15x6 (15) – 1 pcs
5. Hex socket button cap screw (18) – 8 pcs
6. Enlarged washer (32) – 2 pcs
7. Hex socket cap screw M8x12 (23) – 2 pcs

2.4 Connecting the front frame with the bottom frame
Place the top hinges on the front frame using: Place the bottom hinges on the front frame using:
1. Top hinge (12) placed in the top left and right
corners of the front frame – 2 pcs
2. Hex socket button cap screw (18) – 4 pcs
3. M8 square nut (27) – 4 pcs
1. Bottom hinge (13) – placed in the bottom left and right corners of the
front frame – 2 pcs
2. M8 square nut (27) – 4 pcs
3. Distance plate (14) – 2 pcs
4. Hex socket cap screw with low head (21) – 4 pcs
Connect the pre-assembled rear frame with the
bottom side frames using:
1. Rear frame – 1 pcs
2. Side frame (6) – 2 pcs
3. Aluminum connector (10) – 2 pcs
4. Hex socket button cap screw (18) – 16 pcs
Loctite can be used to permanently lock the bolts in its position.

Connect the bottom frame with hinges using:
1. Hex socket cap screw (20) – 2 pcs
2. White plastic washer (30) – 4 pcs
3. Self-locking nut (28) – 2 pcs
2.5 Attaching the net support pipes
Take the stainless steel connectors (11) and connect them to
the rear bottom frame:
1. Hex socket button cap screw M8x16 (18) – 4 pcs
2. M8 square nut (27) – 6 pcs* (3 pcs on each side of the
goal)
* Place two additional M8 square nuts into the groove of the
profile to be used later!
Connect the net pipes (9) to the pre-installed top hinges (12)
using:
1. Hex socket cap screw M8x60 (19) – 2 pcs
2. White plastic washers (30) – 4 pcs
3. DIN 125 A8,4 washer (31) – 2 pcs
4. DIN 985 M8 nut (28) – 2 pcs
Connect the net pipes (9) to the pre-installed connectors (11) using:
1. Plastic knob M8 (16) – 2 pcs
2. Plastic inner knob (17) – 2 pcs
Put the 80x40 mm plastic plug into the profile.
Loctite can be used to permanently lock the bolts in its position.

2.6 Attaching the reinforcement pipe
Use hex socket cap screws (25) and M8 nuts (28) to connect the reinforcement pipes described as 7 and 8.
Now you may connect the pre-assembled pipe to the
bottom frame using M8 square nut (27) and hex socket cap
screw M8x40 (22) – 2 pcs. that is previously placed in the
profile’s groove.
Loctite can be used to permanently lock the bolts in its position.

2.7 Assembling the floats
Put the floats (33) on the bottom frame as per picture on the left and
assemble them using:
1. Hex socket button cap screw M8x55 (24) – 4 pcs
2. DIN 934 M8 nut (26) – 8 pcs
3. Eyelet screw (35) – 4 pcs
4. Black plastic washer (36) – 8 pcs
Do not use Loctite on the bolts.

2.8 Attaching the rubber net strap
• Loosen the net hangers at the bottom
• Thread on the rubber net strap (41)
• Put back the net hangers and attach
them again at the bottom
• Move the rubber net strap up into
position
2.9 Attaching the net
• Attach the net hook ”Omega” to the
net
• Space them out and put one in every
second mesh (net square)
• Place the net over the net hangers
• Attach the ”Omega” hooks into the
goal frame according to the drawing
• In the back the ”Omega” hooks
attach underneath

III. Maintenance and Service
To ensure long-lasting and safe use of the equipment, periodical inspections are required:
• Every time before using the equipment:
• Visually check if there are any parts damaged or missing
• Check if all the devices are installed correctly and secured to prevent tilting/moving
• Every 6 months a detailed check-up of the equipment is required:
Visual checkup if any deformities, damages, missing or worn out parts (bolts, nuts, net
hooks, etc.) have occurred. Tighten all assembly nodes (in order to make sure that all screws
and nuts are tightened).
Care and Usage Instruction:
• Only use tools delivered with the goal for periodical tightening of the screws, otherwise the
bolts and nuts may corrode.
• After using the product it is required to wash it with tap water and let it dry before placing it
in a storage room. Only light detergents like dish soap can be used for cleaning. Alcohol-based
detergents might damage the goal.
• It is recommended to dry the goal with paper towels or microfiber cloth after pulling out of the
water and rinsing it with tap water.
• It is required for the goal to be stored in a dry area, preferably in a separate, well ventilated
area.
• If any atypical signs are noticed (for instance squeaky noises, missing elements, or visual da-
mages) immediately stop further usage of the equipment and report the problem to the manu-
facturer or its authorized distributor.
• All portable/floating devices must be installed and operated only by designated and trained
personnel.
WARNING:
Storage and usage shall be so that no unauthorized person or child can acci-
dently be injured by a falling or tilting goal. Usage in the pool; the goal shall be
secured in position by 4 goal lines. In storage; ensure safe locked storage.

IV. TERMS OF WARRANTY
1 General Provisions
1.1 M. MALMSTEN AB (the “Manufacturer”) provides the limited warranty (the “Warranty”) to the
purchaser of the Equipment. Warranty is only valid in the facility in which the Equipment was
originally installed. The Warranty is valid from the time of the final acceptance of the building or
from the date of delivery and to the timeline listed below, under the terms and conditions stated
below.

1.2 The manufacturer warrants the Equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship
which is caused by failure of the Equipment within the applicable Warranty Period.
1.3 In case of a defect discovered, the purchaser is obtained to immediately (not later than after 7
days) inform the manufacturer or authorized distributor about the problem. The manufacturer or
its authorized distributor will answer within 14 days and will propose a way to solve the issue.
1.4 The purchaser is obtained to provide information about failures or defects in writing to

right corner of the crossbar – see picture below), description of the issue and date of discovering
of the defect. Photographic documentation will be required.
1.6 The manufacturer/distributor, once it confirms the existence of a covered defect will (at its sole
discretion) repair or replace the defective parts.
1.7 Defects or damages that occurred during proper use will be repaired or replaced by the manu-
facturer or by the authorized distributor.
1.8 The warranty covers the costs of investigation, production and shipping. Disassembly of the da-
maged and installation of the new/repaired part/parts is not covered.
WARNING:
All unauthorized (not provided by the distributor or manufacturer) self-
repairs, adjustments or interferences in the equipment can cause irreparable
damages and dangerous, life-threatening accidents.

2 Exclusions and Conditions:
• Operations, which shall be made by the user and on his cost, such as maintenance of cleanli-
ness, periodical checkups (as in point 2.1)
• Mechanical and chemical damages caused by improper use and maintenance (i.e. attempts of
self-repair; lack of maintenances and inspections; using inadequate cleaning agents, adjust-
ments made by the user)
• Mechanical damages caused by the excessive burden on the equipment
• Damages caused by the user or third party (including acts of vandalism) hang, swing or climb
on the equipment
• Consumable parts (like nets, net hooks, etc.)
• Damages caused by operation of the equipment by non-authorized persons
• Installation of the equipment not performed in accordance with the assembly manual
• Damages caused by natural disasters such as floods, fire, wind, lightening or other acts of
nature
• Damages caused by usage not in accordance with equipment destination
3 Post-warranty Services
3.1 After the warranty expires, it is recommended to order a professional post-warranty service
performed by the authorized distributor once every 12 months in order to make sure, that the
equipment is in good condition and can be used safely.
3.2 In case of a failure discovered after the time of warranty, the user might inform the manufactu-
rer or it’s authorized distributor about the problem in the same way which is described in point
1.4. The manufacturer or distributor will offer a solution to the problem within 7 days. After the
claim is accepted, both parties will agree on a suitable term of repairs.
LOCATION OF THE SERIAL NUMBER:
The serial number consists of XX/YYYY/ZZZZZ
where:
XX – calendar week of manufacturing
YYYY – year of manufacturing
ZZZZZ – serial number
Removing the sticker will void the warranty.

Folding the goal for storage
The goal can easily be folded for more convenient storage and transport
• Loosen the net hangers at the bottom
• Screw back the knobs in the stainless ste-
el connector (so you do not loose them)
• Fold the net hangers to the front of the
goal frame
• Fold down the goal frame to the back
frame
• The rubber net strap is used to hold it all
together
