Product safety information
This device is designed to optimize safety, minimize strain, and withstand the
rigors of portability. However, to further reduce the risk of personal injury or
damage to the unit, certain precautions should be observed.
 Do not operate this device near water, for example, near a bathtub, kitchen
sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement, by a swimming pool, or in the rain. This

resistant nor water tight.

reconguration of this product during an electrical storm.

Installing USB devices
Installing the EasyConnect GPS Module
Align the two pins on the module with the
pin holes on the tablet.

Insert the connector end of the USB device into the
USB port on the module.
Removing the EasyConnect GPS Module

Gently push the module onto the tablet until
the module snaps into the docked position.

Place your nger behind the top edge of the module
and pull the module away from the tablet.

Install the GPS driver
Go to www.man-machine.com/GPS.htm and
download and install the GPS Driver.
Identify the COM port used by the GPS
To indentify the COM Port, go to the Device
Manager, expand Ports (COM & LPT), and nd the
COM Port number assigned to Prolic USB-to-Serial
GPS Port.
(To nd Device Manager, go to Start, right click on
My Computer, click Properties, select the Hardware
tab and click Device Manager.)
Launch the GPS Software
Run the GPS software application. Change the
COM port to the assigned port number and use
Baudrate 38400.
Insert the Ethernet cable connector into
the Ehternet port on the module.
