PoweringontheMonitor:
Insert12Vregulatedpowersourceviaconnectorintothe12VDCsocket.AREDLEDwillindicate
powerisreachingthemonitor.IfREDLEDfailstolight,troubleshootthepoweradapterorbattery.
ThescreenwillbeBLACKuntilyoupressthePOWERbuttononthemonitorortheremote.Whenthe
monitorispoweredontheLEDstatusindicatorshouldbegreenandthemonitorwilldisplaythe
ManhattanLCDlogofor1secondandthenswitchtoasolidbluescreen.(Maydisplayablackscreen
oncertainfirmwarerevisions)
SelectinganInput:
UsingtheControlconsolelocatedontheleft
sideofthemonitorpresstheINPUTbutton.
Usethe^vbuttonslocatedjustunderthe
POWERbuttonandscrolltotheappropriate
input.PresstheINPUTbuttontoselectand
activatetheinput.
UsingtheremotecontrolunitwithtwoAAA
batteriesinstalled,pointtheremoteattheMonitorConsole’sIR
port(beneathLEDindicator)andpresstheSourceButtonusethe
Up&Downarrowstoscrolltotheappropriateinputandthe
enterkeytoselecttheinput.
Navigatingthemenusystem:

signaltomakeanychangestoanyoptions.
UsingtheControlconsolelocatedontheleftsideofthemonitorpresstheMenubutton.Toscroll
betweenPicture,Img.Adj,&Setuptabsusethe><buttonslocatedabovetheMENUkey.
Usethe^vbuttonslocatedjustunderthePOWERbuttontoscrollwithinamenutab.Toadjusta
specificfieldusethe><buttonslocatedabovetheMENUkeytoapplyyourchangesandgoupalevel
presstheMENUbuttonagaintosaveyourchangesandgoupalevelandMENUbuttononcemoreto
exitthemenu.
UsingtheI/RremotecontrolunitwithtwoAAAbatteriesinstalled,pointtheremoteattheMonitor
Console’sIRport(beneathLEDindicator)andpresstheMENUButtonusetheup&downarrowsto
scrolltotheappropriateinputandtheenterkeytoselecttheinput.ToscrollbetweenPicture,
Img.Adj,&SetuptabsusetheLeft&RightarrowbuttonslocatedundertheMENUkey.UsetheUp&
DownarrowbuttonslocatedjustundertheMenubuttontoscrollwithinamenutab.Toadjusta
specificfieldusetheLeft&RightarrowbuttonslocatedbelowtheMENUkeytomakechangestoa
certainfield.PresstheMENUbuttonagaintosaveyourchangesandgoupalevelUsetheUParrow
togetbacktothemenutabsandMENUbuttononcemoretoexitthemenu.

1.Threadinthethumbscrewsabouthalfway
2.ThenslidethegrovesinthesunhoodaroundtheshaftofthethumbscrewsandSnugthe
thumbscrews.(Donotovertightenoryoumaystripthethumbscrews)
