Face-Off 3000 Wireless Remote Control Functions
A.
Wireless Remote
In order to operate the FACE-
OFF 3000 system a series of
wireless remote functions will
need to be implemented.
Press 3 OFF to arm the
system so that players
can buzz in.
Press 1 ON for a correct
answer; Increment Score
Press 1 OFF for an
incorrect answer;
Decrement Score

Press 1 OFF and 1 ON at
the same time to reset
the scores to zero
Press 2 OFF to pass.
This option is if a player
buzzes in too early and
you want to continue
play without a change in
the score.

Press 2 OFF and 2 ON
to reset the game back to
default mode. If you are
in team play mode and
would like to return to
normal play, this
function can be used.

Press 1 OFF and 2 OFF
to enter team play.
Players Red/Blue will
play as a team and
players Green/Yellow
will play as a team.

Sleep Mode Function
The FACE-OFF 3000 has a
built in sleep mode. If there is
no play for approximately 15
minutes, the FACE-OFF 3000
will go into sleep mode. By
pressing any button on the
remote, the system will come
out of sleep mode and game
play will continue.
C. The Antenna
The antenna both on the
wireless remote and the
receiver antenna must remain
clear of obstruction. The signal
will be greatly reduced if either
of these antennas are covered,
blocked or obstructed in any
way.

Press 1 ON and 2 ON to
black out the screens so
you can play without
visible scores.

Press 2 ON and 1 OFF
to turn all microphones
on. By pressing the
sequence again, the
system will return to
normal default mode.

Battery Replacement
The back cover can be removed
from the wireless remote so
that the battery can be
replaced.

Pairing the Wireless
Remote to the Receiver
The rear of the wireless remote
has a small rectangular panel
that can be removed. Inside the
panel are dip switches. These
switches can be set so that your
remote will not interfere with
other systems or devices. After
you set the dip switches, press
the grey button on the receiver
(shown in photo). A green light
will blink once on the receiver.
Press the 1 OFF
button on the wireless remote
and notice the green light on
the receiver will blink again.
After this simple sequence,
your wireless remote and
receiver will now be paired
together for operation.

Wired Remote
In order to operate the FACE-
OFF 3000 system a series of
wired remote functions will
need to be implemented.
Unplug the wire from the jack
on the back of the scoreboard
marked controller and plug
your hard-wired controller into
the controller jack. Reverse this
processes to use the wireless
remote.
Press and hold the
function button for 1
second to arm the
system. You will hear a
"ding...ding..." sound
when the system is
armed for play.
After the player buzzes
in, press correct on the
remote to increment the
score upward.

Sleep Mode Function
The FACE-OFF 3000 has a
built in sleep mode. If there is
no play for approximately 15
minutes, the FACE-OFF 3000
will go into sleep mode. By
pressing any button on the
remote, the system will come
out of sleep mode and game
play will continue.

After the player buzzes
in, press wrong on the
remote to decrement the
score downward.
To reset the scores, hold
down both the wrong
button and correct
button together. This
will reset the scores to
zero on the system.
If you own more than
one Face-Off system, you
can play in team mode.
Hold down both the
wrong button and the
pass button together.
This will enter the team
play mode.
To remove the scores
completely and play
without visible scoring,
hold down both the
correct button and the
function button.

To reset your system
back to the default
factory settings, hold
down both the pass
button and the
function button. This
will reset the scores to
zero, bring the system
out of team mode, or
make the scores visible
once they are shut off.
