Remove the water distribution
tube.
Loosen the two outer screws
(do not remove screws
completely; they are retained
to prevent loss). Pull forward
on the distribution tube to
release from slip joint.
Disassemble the distribution
tube by loosening the two (2)
middle thumbscrews and
dividing the distribution tube
Depress tabs on right and left
side of the water trough.
Allow front of water trough to
drop as you pull forward to
Grasp pump and pull straight
down on pump assembly until
it disengages and the
electrical connector is visible.
Disconnect the electrical con-
nector. Remove the water
pump assembly from ice
Remove the water level probe.
Pull the water level probe
straight down to disengage.
Lower the water level probe
until the wiring connector is
visible.
Disconnect the wire lead from
the water level probe.
Remove the water level probe
Mix the correct amount of
delimer with 4 gallons
(15 liters) of warm water in a
three-compartment sink.
Kay Delimer - 4 packets
or
McD KL - 150 ml
Place the plastic parts in the
solution and soak for 10-15
minutes.
Only soak the water pump up
to the O-ring.
Do not submerge the motor
Clean surface areas of ice
machine.
Use a clean towel soaked in
delimer solution to wipe ice
machine surfaces, including
the sides, walls and base (area
Rinse and sanitize plastic
parts.
Prepare Sanitizer and warm
water in a three-compartment
sink.
Kay 5 - Mix 2 packets with 5
gallons (19 liters) water.
or
McD DR - Add 19 liters (5
gallons)
Remove plastic parts from
delimer solution & rinse in
clean water. Place the plastic
parts in the sanitizer solution
and soak for at least one
minute.
Only soak the water pump up
to the O-ring.
Do not submerge the motor
