When using electrical appliances, these basic precautions should always be followed:
1. Read Instruction manual carefully.
2. This appliance is suitable only for the use of Map Coffee capsules.
The use of other capsule systems may void your warranty.
3. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on
the rating label of the coffee maker.
4. To protect against re, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse
cord, plug or unit in water or other liquid.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
inserting or removing parts and or before cleaning the appliance.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to an authorised service facility for examination, repair or
adjustment.
8. The use of accessories not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may result in re, electric shock or injury to persons.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
13. Only ll the tank with clean and cold water. Never ll the tank with mineral
water, milk or other liquids.
14. To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet. Always hold the plug. Avoid
pulling the cord.
15. Some parts of appliance are hot when operated, so do not touch with hand.
16. Do not leave the appliance on unattended.

17. The environment temperature of operating or storing shall be more than 0
degrees Celsius.
18. Do not leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents (sun, rain and
so on)
19. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless supervised or instruction concerning use of the appliances
by a person responsible for their safety.
20. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
21. This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure
the wall outlet in your house is well earthed.
22. Do not let the coffee maker operate without water.
23. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purpose.
24. The coffee capsule is disposable, never reuse the same capsule.
25. This appliance is intended to be used in household kitchens and similar
applications.
26. Save these instructions.
27. DO NOT PUT FINGERS IN CAPSULE HOLDER
28. To prevent damage to the appliance do not use alkaline cleaning agents
when cleaning, use a soft cloth and a mild detergent.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged.
• Fill water tank with cold water.
• Lift the handle to open position and then immediately lower the handle
(close position).
• Place a container on the cup holder grid, insert the plug, turn on the power switch
and the two button indicators will ash, and wait until the indicators are solid.
• Press the large cup button where the coffee nozzle will begin to release water.
The ow will stop automatically. Discard the water. Clean all detachable parts
thoroughly with warm water.
NOTE: While pressing down the big cup or small cup button, the machine may
produce a loud sound, this is normal. The sound tells you that the pump / machine is
preparing for brewing coffee.

1. Fill the detachable water tank with drinking water. The water level should not
exceed MAX level marked on the tank.
2. Open the handle by lifting it and insert a coffee capsule. Close the handle by
pushing it down directly.
3. Plug the power cord into the outlet. Turn on the power switch and the two
button indicators will ash white, the appliance starts to preheat. Wait until
they turn to solid lighting. This means the preheating is nished. You can now
brew coffee.
CAUTION: During brewing, never open the handle. Otherwise the coffee
capsule will be expelled into collection tray.
4. Once two button indicators are solid lighting, press the big cup or small cup
button, the coffee will ow out from the coffee nozzle. Once the desired
quantity has been reached (approx. 30ml for small cup, 60ml for big
cup), the coffee will stop owing automatically.
5. Once you have made coffee always expel the capsule. Capsules are
automatically expelled into the capsule collection tray once the handle is
raised.
CAUTION: Never raise the handle during brewing cycles.
6. The amount of coffee for small cup and big cup can be reprogrammed to
suit your desired length. Simply press and hold the small cup button or big
cup button, the corresponding button indicator will ash white and the
machine will enter coffee quantity adjustment mode, when your desired
quantity is reached, release the small cup button or big cup button. The
machine will memorise this coffee quantity for next use.
To restore factory default setting, simply press and hold the small cup
and big cup button for 5s, blue indicator will ash 5 times, it means the
machine has restored factory default setting.
Note: the adjustable range is 20ml-150ml.
7. Empty the capsule collection tray and rinse the unit and tank frequently.
9. Always turn off the power switch and disconnect the power supply when
not in use.

Be sure to unplug this appliance before cleaning. To protect against electric shock,
do not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or liquid. After each use, always make sure
plug is rst removed from wall outlet. We recommend that the following is performed
on a periodical basis:
1. Use the specically provided empty capsule; prepare 1 or more cups to wash
the coffee distributor.
2. Use a dry cloth to wash the removable water tank.
3. Empty the capsule collection tray and clean it.
4. Clean the capsule holder with a dry cloth.
5. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the cup holder grid. Empty the capsule
collection tray and rinse it.
6. Clean the machine using a damp cloth, never submerge the machine.
7. Replace all parts and keep for next use.
Descaling is a very important process in maintaining the longevity of your coffee
machine as well as ensuring your coffee quality is never compromised.
During operation, if the fault indicator / warning is solid blue, it means your machine
requires descaling i.e. you need to remove the mineral deposits inside the boiler.
Follow these simple steps:
1. Place the required volume of clean water to liquid descaler into the water
tank (you will need to refer to the ratio mix of descaler to water as
recommended by your particular formula. Please use ‘household descaler
suitable for domestic espresso machine only’
2. Once you have placed the liquid descaler into the tank, place a large mug
under the coffee nozzle.

3. Switch your appliance on from the power switch and wait till the unit is ready
for use.
4. Press the small cup button or big cup button, the button indicator will still be
ashing and the fault indicator will be solid blue.
5. The appliance will begin descaling. This process will involve having to empty
the contents of the tank through the machine and into your mug.
6. Let approx. 30-60ml run through your machine and then stop the ow by
pressing the same coffee button. Wait 1 minute and re-activate the cycle by
pressing the same coffee button.
7. Repeat the above step approx. ve times until the fault indicator is
extinguished.
8. Remove tank and rinse thoroughly with warm water.
9. Rell tank with fresh water and run one full cup through without inserting a
coffee capsule. This process will ensure any liquid descaler still remaining in
the coffee lines will be washed through and your machine clean.
10. Descaling is now complete and you are ready to make coffee.
During operation, if the water tank is empty, the fault indicator will ash red.
The details of display according to the following:
(1) If the water tank is empty, the fault indicator will ash red, rell the water
tank and press the big cup button or small cup button. The fault indicator
will be extinguished and the corresponding button indicator will ash white;
you can continue to brew coffee again.
(2) During operation, if the fault indicator is solid lighting red, it means the
appliance has malfunctioned. At this stage contact the Customer Care line
contained in this manual for further assistance.
