GETTING STARTED
BOOST -
To set up the Level Boost, plug your instrument into the Input Jack (5), and connect
the Output Jack (6) to your amplier, after connecting a +9/+12VDC power supply to the
DC IN (7) or powering the pedal with a standard 9V battery. Turn the boost on using the
right footswitch (3), making sure the LED on the Boost Level slider is ON (this indicates that
the eect is active). Next, adjust the Boost Level slider while toggling the footswitch (3) on
and o, comparing the volume of the direct signal with the boosted signal. Match the gain
level as closely as you can to the direct signal, then adjust the Level Boost slider to the
desired amount of added boost or cut. A suggested use of the boost is to leave it turned o
until it’s time to solo, then switch it on (3) for a quick level boost when you begin your solo.
You can easily apply this to ANY situation where you need two dierent, quickly accessible
playing volumes.
7-BAND GRAPHIC EQ -
To audition the EQ, rst step on the left footswitch (4), making sure
the LEDs on the EQ sections are ON (this indicates that the eect is active) and with the EQ
sliders (2) in at position (0 dB). Next, dial them in gradually one slider at a time to discover
how they aect your sound EQ, and tailor your bass tone the way you like it
.

FUNCTIONS OVERVIEW
LEVEL BOOST (1) - This control increases your instrument’s volume without changing
its sound (from 0dB to 20dB ), which is very useful for solos and any time you need to
boost your signal without distortion.

from subtle tweaks to more extreme adjustments. The 7 frequency bands were
specically chosen because they are the ones most commonly used to tailor bass tone.

indicates that the boost is engaged.
EQ SWITCH* (4) - The LEDs on sliders indicates
that the EQ is activated.
