theAandBXLRinputsoftheDX0.5.XLRoutputs1and2oftheDX0.5feedtheXLRinputsoftwoMartinAudioDD12powered
loudspeakers.Theseloudspeakersarelocatedonstage.
XLRoutputs3and4oftheDX0.5feedtheXLRinputsofanothertwoMartinAudioDD12s.Thisfull‐rangepairshouldbepositioned
halfwaytowardtherearofthevenuewithdelayaddedsotheyaretime‐alignedwiththemainpair.
Finally,XLRoutputs5and6oftheDX0.5feedtheXLRinputsoftwoMartinAudioPSXpoweredsubwoofersthatarelocatedon
stageandpairedwiththeDD12loudspeakers.Inthissetup,theDX0.5’shigh‐andlow‐passfiltersonoutputs1and2and5and
6maybeusedtoconfigureacrossoverbetweentheDD12andPSXforaddedcontrolfromtheprocessor.Careshouldbetaken
whenconfiguringtheDX0.5’scrossoversothePSXbuilt‐incrossoverdoesnotconflict.Thesubsmaybestereoormonoby
properlyconfiguringtheinputsourcesforDX0.5outputs5and6.
TheDX0.5maybeusedforadditionalroomcorrectiveEQanddelaytoaligntheloudspeakersandsubwoofersandalimiter

1.Power
Usethisrocker‐styleswitchtoturntheunitonoroff.Theprocessorisonwhenthetopoftheswitchispressedin.Itisoffwhen
thebottomoftheswitchispressedin.TheLCDDisplay[6]willilluminateandtextwillappearwhenthepowerswitchison.
TheDX0.5remembersitssettings,soyoumaypowercycletheunitanditwillresumeoperationusingthesamesettingsas
before.TheDX0.5employsrelaysontheoutputstopreventunwantedpopsandnoiseinthesystemwhenpowercyclingand
startinguptheprocessor.Afterengagingthepowerswitch,theunitwillinitializeandtherelayswillswitch.Anyliveoutputswill
smoothlyfadefromsilencetotheirconfiguredoutputlevels.Theprocessormaynowbeedited,oritisreadyforuseiftheDX0.5
isalreadyconfiguredfortheloudspeakersystemundercontrol.
2.PowerLeadSocketandFuse
Thisiswheretoconnectthedetachablepowercableincludedwiththeprocessor.Plugtheotherendofthepowerleadintoan
ACoutlet.Theoutletshouldmatchthepowercable.
