Before using the “Digital balance scale” (hereinafter referred to as ‘device’, the following
basic precautions must always be taken:
Important general information
• Read the instructions for use carefully and keep them safe. If you give this device to other
people, please also pass on this manual.
• Only use this device in accordance with the instructions in this user manual.
• The guarantee will expire immediately if damage has been caused by failing to comply
with this user manual. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by non-
compliance with the user manual, negligent use or use which does not comply with
conditions in this user manual.
• This device is intended for domestic or similar use, not for professional use.
• WARNING! Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may
become dangerous playing material for children. Risk of suffocation!

General safety information and instructions
• Only use the device for its intended use.
• Improper use of the device could damage the product.
• WARNING: The glass platform may be slippery when wet.
• WARNING: People with a pacemaker should not use the device.
• Do not jump or stomp on the device.
• Handle carefully when moving preventing breaking of the glass plate.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Keep children under strict supervision to prevent them from using the device as a toy.
• Do not allow unsupervised children to clean or maintain this device.
• Never allow children to use domestic appliances as toys or without supervision. Children
are unable to judge the hazards associated with incorrectly using electric appliances.
• Prior to use, check the device for visible external damage. Never operate the device if it is
damaged.
• Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.
• Please handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts or falls, even from a low height, can
damage the device.
• Do not use or store the device in an environment subject to strong static electricity or
magnetic elds.
• Do not use the device in the vicinity of ammable materials.
• Do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of heat sources like naked ames (such as
hobs).
• Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive humidity or corrosive
environments.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid, to avoid the risk of electric shocks.
Do not touch the device if it has fallen into water, and do not use it again.
• The device must be serviced if it has been damaged in any way, i.e.: objects have fallen
into it; it has been exposed to rain or moisture; it has been dropped or does not operate
properly.
• The guarantee will expire immediately if the device is damaged as a result of not
observing this user manual. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by
non-compliance with the user manual, negligent use or use which does not comply with the
conditions of this user manual.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device.
• Do not use foreign objects to clean the device.
• Do not use the device if there are visible signs of damage.
• Do not use the device if it has been dropped or does not operate normally.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device or modify it in any manner.
• The device does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user.
• Only allow repairs to be carried out by a qualied service centre. Qualied service centre:
after-sales department of the manufacturer or store, which is recognised and authorised
to carry out such repairs, so that potential hazards can be prevented. If problems are
encountered with the device, please return it to this department.
• WARNING! Damaging the casing and/or piercing the device, can lead to explosion
or re!
• WARNING! Do not throw the device into a re because it may explode!

Batteries, electricity & heat
• Make sure the battery compartment is closed securely.
• Only use AAA Alkaline batteries
• Only use a set of 2 of the same brand of AAA Alkaline batteries and do not mix.
• Do not mix Alkaline, standard batteries (carbon zinc) or rechargeable batteries (nickel
hydride)
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Correctly insert (polarity) batteries into the battery compartment.
• Replace the full set of 2 AAA Alkaline batteries at any one time.
• To prevent battery leakage, remove batteries from the appliance if it is not used for a long
period of time.
• Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. If the liquid gets on the
skin, wash it immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, ush them
immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Non-rechargeable AAA batteries should not be recharged.
• Rechargeable AAA batteries can be used in this device. Rechargeable batteries must be
removed from the appliance before being charged.
• Only charge rechargeable batteries with the charger that comes with these batteries and
follow the instructions in the manufacturer’s manual.
• Rechargeable batteries should only be recharged under adult supervision.
• Do not short circuit the contacts inside the battery compartment or any batteries.
• Never damage rechargeable batteries. Damaging the casing of the device and/or piercing
rechargeable batteries might lead to explosion or re!
• Flat AAA Alkaline batteries must be removed and disposed of in a safe and environment-
friendly manner.
• Do not crush, puncture or dismantle the device; this might damage the batteries.
• Do not throw batteries into a re because they may explode!
• Do not expose the device and batteries to excessive heat sources like re or direct
sunlight.
• Do not dispose of batteries in your household waste. To dispose of the batteries, take
them to your local recycling station. Contact your local government ofces for details.
3) USING THE DEVICE
Before use
Open the packaging carefully before taking out the device. Make sure the device is
complete and undamaged. If any components are missing or damaged, contact the vendor
and do not use the product. Retain the packaging or recycle it in accordance with local
regulations.
Batteries
The device operates by 2 pcs of AAA batteries.
Open the battery compartment by removing its cover F
Correctly insert 2 AAA batteries into the battery compartment, respecting the polarity
marked in the compartment.
Place the battery cover back on the compartment.
If the battery level is low, the LCD display Awill indicate “LO”.
Replace the batteries as described above.

Operation
• Place the device on a hard at and stable and non-slippery surface.
• Warning! The device glass plate may be slippery when wet. Make sure the
glass plate is dry before use.
• Warning! Make sure your feet are dry and non-slippery before stepping on the
device.
• To ensure accurate operation, it is advised to take measurements daily at a xed time in
the morning or evening (i.e. 07h00 – 09h00 / 19h00 – 21h00).
• Warning! People with a pacemaker should not use the device.
• People with metal implants will be unable to obtain an accurate measurement.
Weight only
The device has an auto ON/OFF function & overload protection.
Make sure the platform and your feet are dry and non-slippery before stepping on the
device.

Step on the device evenly near the center and keep your body still and erect until the
device stabiles your weight.
When the weight has been correctly measured, the weight will appear on the LCD display
A , ash 3 times indicating correct measuring.
Or you can press the “SET” button Eon the device and wait until once the LCD display A
shows “0.0” indicating it is ready for use.
When the LCD display Ashows “Err”, it is indicating the device is in overload protection.
The device will automatically switch off after ± 10 seconds.
Weight – body fat – hydration – muscle bone & kcal percentage
The device is equipped with a BIA (bioelectrical impedance analysis) technology, to
measure body fat, hydration, muscle and bone percentage, by sending a (safe) low tension
current through the body. The difference of electrical conductive property of body fat from
other tissues is analyzed and processed and results are displayed on the LCD screen.
Setting your personal data
Press the SET key Eto set your personal data.
With the ▲ C or ▼ Dbutton you can select the desired number or selection.
Program number
The device can store maximum 10 personal programs.
Press the SET key E
On the LCD screen A “P0” will ash. Press ▲ C or ▼ Dthe select the desired program
number (P0 – P9) to store your personal data. Once the desired program number appear,
press SET E to conrm.
Gender
When the LCD screen A ashes or press ▲ C or ▼ Dto select the gender. Once
the correct gender has been selected, press SET E to conrm.
Age
When the LCD screen A shows “00” and “age” are blinking, press ▲ C or ▼ Dthe set
the age (18 - 100). Once the desired program number appears, press SET E to conrm.
Length
When the LCD screen A shows “100” and “cm” are blinking, press ▲ C or ▼ Dthe set
the length (100 – 220 cm). Once the desired program number appears, press SET Eto
conrm.
Just select your program code when you use the device again and your information will be
displayed, so there is no need to set them again.

Record your personal data
• Press the “SET” button Eon the device.
• The LCD screen A “Px” will ash. (Last selected program number will appear)
• Press ▲ C or ▼ Dto select your personal program (P0 – P9) with your stored personal
data.
• Wait till the selected program number stops ashing.
• Step on the device and keep your bare feet in touch with the electrodes B.
• Stand still and erect, to get your weight measured and displayed.
• Stay standing still as now your body fat, hydration, muscle and bone percentages are
measured
• The progress of these are indicated as below.
• Once all the blocks have disappeared, measurement has been completed.
• When measuring is nished, the results will be repeated two times and then it will
automatically switch off.
DO NOT touch the buttons of the device with your feet while weighing, the device will not
work.
Body fat – hydration – muscle rates measured are for reference.
Consult a doctor when you undertake a diet or exercise program.

Cleaning
The device can be cleaned with a damp cloth. In case of stain marks, glass cleaner can be
used.

Do not use any soaps, chemicals, solvents, petrol, or similar products.
Do not use very hot or cold water on the glass plate.
Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials or sharp objects like hard brushes or
knives.
Keep the device away from water, heat and extreme coldness.

Voordat u de digitale weegschaal gebruikt (hierna ‘apparaat’ genoemd), moet u eerst de
volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen treffen:
Belangrijke algemene informatie
• Lees deze instructies vóór gebruik goed door en bewaar ze op een veilige plaats. Als u dit
apparaat aan iemand anders geeft, geef deze handleiding daar dan bij.
• Gebruik dit apparaat uitsluitend volgens de instructies in deze gebruikershandleiding.
• De garantie vervalt direct als er schade ontstaat door het niet opvolgen van de
instructies in deze gebruikershandleiding. De fabrikant accepteert geen enkele
aansprakelijkheid voor schade veroorzaakt door het niet opvolgen van de instructies
in deze gebruikershandleiding, onachtzaam gebruik of gebruik dat niet voldoet aan de

Algemene veiligheidsvoorschriften en -instructies
• Gebruik het apparaat alleen voor het beoogde doel.
• Het apparaat kan beschadigd raken als het verkeerd wordt gebruikt.
• WAARSCHUWING: Het glazen platform kan glad zijn als het nat is.
• WAARSCHUWING: Mensen met een pacemaker mogen het apparaat niet gebruiken.
• Spring of stamp niet op het apparaat.
• Wees voorzichtig bij het verplaatsen van het apparaat. Zo voorkomt u dat de glasplaat
breekt.
• Dit apparaat is geen speelgoed! Houd het buiten bereik van kinderen en huisdieren.
• Houd kinderen goed in de gaten en voorkom dat ze het apparaat gebruiken als
speelgoed.
• Laat kinderen dit apparaat niet zonder toezicht schoonmaken of onderhouden.
• Zorg ervoor dat kinderen nooit gaan spelen met huishoudelijke apparatuur; houd altijd
toezicht. Kinderen zijn niet in staat de gevaren te beoordelen die gepaard gaan met onjuist
gebruik van elektrische apparaten.
• Controleer het apparaat vóór gebruik op zichtbare beschadigingen aan de buitenkant.
Gebruik het apparaat niet als het beschadigd is.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet wordt blootgesteld aan enige mechanische belasting.
• Ga voorzichtig met het apparaat om. Het apparaat kan beschadigd raken door een schok,
stoot of val, zelfs van een geringe hoogte.
• Gebruik of bewaar het apparaat niet in een omgeving met sterke statische elektriciteit of

• Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van brandbare materialen.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van hittebronnen zoals open vuur (gasfornuis) of
kookplaten.
• Bescherm het apparaat tegen direct zonlicht, warmtebronnen, overmatige vochtigheid en
corrosieve omgevingen.
• Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of een andere vloeistof. Zo voorkomt u de kans
op een elektrische schok. Raak het apparaat niet aan en gebruik het niet meer als het in
water is gevallen.
• Het apparaat moet worden gerepareerd als er sprake is van enige vorm van schade.
Dit moet gebeuren wanneer er bijvoorbeeld voorwerpen in het apparaat zijn gevallen,
het apparaat is blootgesteld aan regen of vocht, het apparaat is gevallen of wanneer het
apparaat niet goed functioneert.
• Wanneer het apparaat beschadigd raakt als gevolg van het niet naleven van
deze gebruikshandleiding, vervalt de garantie onmiddellijk. De fabrikant accepteert
geen aansprakelijkheid voor schade als gevolg van het niet in acht nemen van de
gebruikershandleiding, onzorgvuldig gebruik of gebruik dat niet overeenstemt met de
voorwaarden in deze gebruikershandleiding.
• Gebruik geen schurende schoonmaakmiddelen om het apparaat te reinigen.
• Gebruik geen vreemde voorwerpen om het apparaat te reinigen.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het zichtbaar beschadigd is.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet wanneer het is gevallen of niet normaal functioneert.
• Probeer het apparaat niet te demonteren, te repareren of anderszins aan te passen.
• Het apparaat bevat geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker kunnen worden onderhouden.
• Laat reparaties uitsluitend uitvoeren door een erkend servicecentrum. Erkend
servicecentrum: serviceafdeling van de fabrikant of winkel die erkend en bevoegd is om

dergelijke reparaties uit te voeren, zodat mogelijke gevaren worden vermeden. Als u
problemen met het apparaat ondervindt, breng het dan naar dit servicecentrum.
• WAARSCHUWING! Beschadiging van de behuizing en/of het apparaat zelf kan
leiden tot een explosie of brand!
• WAARSCHUWING! Gooi het apparaat nooit in een vuur omdat het kan ontploffen!
Batterijen, elektriciteit en warmte
• Zorg ervoor dat de batterijvakje goed is afgesloten.
• Gebruik uitsluitend AAA-alkalinebatterijen
• Gebruik uitsluitend 2 AAA-alkalinebatterijen van hetzelfde merk.
• Combineer alkalinebatterijen nooit met standaard (koolstofzink) of oplaadbare batterijen
(nikkel-cadmium).
• Combineer nooit oude met nieuwe batterijen.
• Plaats batterijen correct (polariteit) in het batterijvakje.
• Vervang altijd de volledige set van 2 AAA-alkalinebatterijen.
• Om lekkage van batterijen te voorkomen, raden wij aan de batterijen uit het apparaat te
verwijderen als u het gedurende langere tijd niet gebruikt.
• Onder extreme omstandigheden kunnen batterijcellen gaan lekken. Als deze vloeistof op
de huid terecht komt, moet u de vloeistof onmiddellijk afspoelen met water en zeep. Als
deze vloeistof in uw ogen terecht komt, moet u uw ogen minimaal 10 minuten spoelen met
schoon water en een dokter raadplegen.
• Houd batterijen buiten bereik van kinderen.
• Niet-oplaadbare AAA-batterijen mogen niet worden opgeladen.
• In dit apparaat kunnen oplaadbare AAA-batterijen worden gebruikt. Oplaadbare batterijen
moeten uit het apparaat worden verwijderd om te worden opgeladen.
• Laad oplaadbare batterijen uitsluitend op met de oplader die bij deze batterijen is
meegeleverd en volg de instructies in de handleiding van de fabrikant.
• Oplaadbare batterijen mogen uitsluitend worden opgeladen in het bijzijn van een
volwassene.
• Zorg ervoor dat er nooit kortsluiting optreedt tussen de contactpunten in het batterijvakje
of tussen batterijen.
• Zorg ervoor dat de oplaadbare batterijen niet beschadigd raken. Beschadiging van de
behuizing van het apparaat en/of beschadiging van de oplaadbare batterijen kan leiden tot
een explosie of brand!
• Lege AAA-alkalinebatterijen moeten op een veilige en milieuvriendelijke wijze worden
verwijderd en afgevoerd.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet wordt beschadigd of gedemonteerd; hierdoor kunnen de
batterijen beschadigd raken.
• Gooi batterijen nooit in een vuur omdat ze kunnen ontploffen!
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat en de batterijen niet worden blootgesteld aan extreme
warmtebronnen, zoals vuur of rechtstreeks zonlicht.
• Gooi batterijen nooit weg bij het huishoudelijk afval. Breng ze naar het lokale inzamelpunt
voor recycling. Neem contact op met uw gemeente voor nadere informatie.
3) GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT
Vóór gebruik
Open de verpakking voorzichtig en haal het apparaat eruit. Controleer of het apparaat
volledig en onbeschadigd is. Mochten er onderdelen beschadigd zijn of ontbreken, neem

dan contact op met de verkoper en gebruik het product niet. Bewaar de verpakking of
recycle deze zoals voorgeschreven door lokale regelgeving.
Batterijen
Het apparaat werkt op 2 AAA-batterijen.
Open het batterijvakje door het deksel F te verwijderen
Plaats 2 AAA-batterijen op de juiste wijze in het batterijvakje. Let daarbij op de polariteit die
in het batterijvakje wordt aangegeven.
Plaats het deksel weer terug op het batterijvakje.
Wanneer de batterijen bijna leeg zijn, wordt op het LED-display A'LO’ aangegeven.
Vervang de batterijen zoals hierboven beschreven.

U kunt de gewenste gewichtseenheid
kg – lbs – st kiezen door op Gte drukken. De geselecteerde modus wordt daarna getoond
op het lcd-display A

Bediening
• Plaats het apparaat op een harde, vlakke, stabiele en niet-gladde ondergrond.
• Waarschuwing! De glasplaat van het apparaat kan glad zijn als deze nat is.
Zorg ervoor dat de glasplaat droog is vóór gebruik.
• Waarschuwing! Zorg ervoor dat uw voeten droog en niet glad zijn voordat u op
het apparaat stapt.
• Om een nauwkeurige werking te garanderen, adviseren wij u om dagelijks op een vast
tijdstip in de ochtend of avond uw gewicht te meten (bijvoorbeeld 07.00 - 9.00 uur / 19.00 –
21.00 uur).
• Waarschuwing! Mensen met een pacemaker mogen het apparaat niet
gebruiken.
• Mensen met een metalen implantaat krijgen geen nauwkeurige meetwaarden.
Alleen gewicht
Het apparaat heeft een automatische AAN/UIT-functie en een beveiliging tegen
overbelasting.
Zorg ervoor dat het platform en uw voeten droog en niet glad zijn voordat u op het apparaat
stapt.
Stap op een gelijkmatige manier op het apparaat in de buurt van het midden. Houd uw
lichaam stil en rechtop totdat het apparaat uw gewicht stabiliseert.
Wanneer het gewicht correct is gemeten, verschijnt het gewicht op het lcd-display Aen
knippert het 3 keer om aan te geven dat het gewicht correct is gemeten.
U kunt ook op de SET-knop Eop het apparaat drukken en wachten tot het lcd-display A‘0,0’
weergeeft om aan te geven dat het apparaat klaar is voor gebruik.
Als op het lcd-display A‘Err’ (fout) wordt weergegeven, betekent dit dat de beveiliging
tegen overbelasting van het apparaat is geactiveerd.
Het apparaat wordt automatisch na ± 10 seconden uitgeschakeld.
Gewicht – lichaamsvet – vocht – percentage spiermassa, botmassa en kcal
Het apparaat is uitgerust met een BIA-technologie (bio-elektrische impedantieanalyse)
om het percentage lichaamsvet, vocht, spiermassa en botmassa te meten. Dit gebeurt
door een (veilige) hoeveelheid zwakstroom door het lichaam te sturen. Het verschil tussen
de elektrisch geleidende eigenschappen van lichaamsvet en andere weefsels wordt
geanalyseerd en verwerkt. De resultaten worden weergegeven op het lcd-display.
Uw persoonlijke gegevens instellen
Druk op de SET-knop E om uw persoonlijke gegevens in te stellen.
Met de ▲ C of ▼ Dknop kunt u het gewenste nummer of de gewenste selectie
selecteren.

Programmanummer
U kunt op het apparaat maximaal 10 persoonlijke programma's opslaan.
Druk op de SET-knop E
Op het lcd-display A gaat ‘P0’ knipperen. Druk op ▲ C of ▼ Den selecteer het gewenste
programmanummer (P0 – P9) om uw persoonlijke gegevens op te slaan. Zodra het
gewenste programmanummer verschijnt, drukt u ter bevestiging op SET E.
Geslacht
Wanneer op het lcd-display A of knippert, drukt u op ▲ C of ▼ Dom het geslacht
te selecteren. Zodra u het juiste geslacht hebt geselecteerd, drukt u ter bevestiging op SET
E.
Leeftijd
Wanneer op het lcd-display A ‘00’ wordt weergegeven en ‘Age’ (leeftijd) knippert,
drukt u op ▲ C of ▼ D om de leeftijd in te stellen (18 - 100). Zodra het gewenste
programmanummer verschijnt, drukt u ter bevestiging op SET E.
Lengte
Wanneer op het lcd-display A ‘100’ wordt weergegeven en ‘cm’ knippert, drukt u op ▲ C
of ▼ D om de lengte in te stellen (100 – 220 cm). Zodra het gewenste programmanummer
verschijnt, drukt u ter bevestiging op SET E.
Selecteer eenvoudigweg uw programmacode als u het apparaat opnieuw gebruikt. Uw
gegevens worden daarna weergegeven, zodat u deze niet opnieuw hoeft in te stellen.
Uw persoonlijke gegevens vastleggen
• Druk op de SET-knop Eop het apparaat.
• Op het lcd-display A knippert 'Px’. (Het laatst geselecteerde programmanummer wordt
weergegeven)
• Druk op ▲ C of ▼ D om uw persoonlijke programma (P0 – P9) te selecteren met uw
opgeslagen persoonlijke gegevens.
• Wacht tot het geselecteerde programmanummer niet meer knippert.
• Stap op het apparaat en zorg ervoor dat uw blote voeten in contact blijven met de
elektroden B.
• Sta stil en rechtop om uw gewicht te laten meten en weergeven.
• Blijf stil staan om uw percentage lichaamsvet, vocht, spiermassa en botmassa te laten
meten
• De voortgang hiervan wordt aangegeven zoals hieronder getoond.
• Wanneer alle blokjes zijn verdwenen, is de meting voltooid.
• Wanneer de meting is voltooid, worden de resultaten twee keer herhaald, waarna het
apparaat automatisch wordt uitgeschakeld.

Raak de knoppen van het apparaat tijdens het wegen NIET met uw voeten aan, omdat het
apparaat dan niet werkt.
Lichaamsvet – vocht – gemeten spiermassa dienen ter referentie.
Raadpleeg een arts wanneer u een dieet of trainingsprogramma gaat volgen.

Energie (kcal)
De energie die nodig is om de elementaire lichaamsactiviteiten te ondersteunen, zoals
ademhaling en beheersing van de lichaamstemperatuur. Deze activiteiten kunnen wel 75%
van het dagelijkse energieverbruik in beslag nemen.
Als de metabolisatie hoger is, zal het gewicht waarschijnlijk niet toenemen.

Schoonmaken
Het apparaat kan worden gereinigd met een vochtige doek. Glasreiniger kan worden
gebruikt om vlekken te verwijderen.
Gebruik geen zeep, chemicaliën, oplosmiddelen, benzine of vergelijkbare producten.
Gebruik op de glasplaat geen extreem heet of koud water.
Gebruik nooit agressieve of schurende materialen of scherpe objecten zoals harde borstels
of messen.
Houd het apparaat uit de buurt van water, hitte en extreme kou.

Dit product is vervaardigd van kwalitatief hoogwaardige materialen en onderdelen
die gerecycled en opnieuw gebruikt kunnen worden. Aan het eind van de
levensduur van dit product, mag het niet worden meegegeven met het normale
huishoudelijk afval, maar moet het naar een speciaal inzamelpunt worden gebracht
voor het recyclen van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Dit wordt in de
handleiding en op de verpakking weergegeven door de afvalcontainer met een kruis
erdoor. De gebruikte grondstoffen kunnen worden gerecycled.
Door gebruikte apparatuur of grondstoffen te recyclen levert u een belangrijke bijdrage aan het
beschermen van het milieu. Informeer bij uw gemeente waar het dichtstbijzijnde inzamelpunt is.
Gooi batterijen nooit weg bij het huishoudelijk afval. Breng lege batterijen naar het lokale
