To
lock
swirch
in
OFF
position,
remove
switch
toggle.
USING
THE
DRILL
InsertinglRemoving
Drill
Bits.

Lift
safety
guard
and
rotate
the
chuck
as
shown
in
the
diagram
on
the
right.

Place
the
drill bit
in
the
chuck.

Put
the
chuck
key
in
each
hole
in
turn
and
righten
very
firmly.

chuck
to
ensure
tye
chuck
has
enough
travel
to
go
through
the
work,
if
nor
lift
up
the
workpiece
rest
and
line
up
the
hole
in
the
centre
of
the
rest
with
the
drill
bit.
Operating
the
drill

Set
the
desired
speed
by
adjusting
the
belt.

Connect
the
plug
to
a
mains
socker.

Press
the
button
upward
to
start
the
drill.

GROUNDING
INSTRUCTIONS
In
the
event
of
a
malfunction
or
breakdown.
grounding
provides
a
path of
least
resistance
for
electric
current
to
reduce
the
rist
of
electric
shock.
This
tools
is
equipped
with
an
electric
cord
having
an
equipment
-
grouding
conductor
and
a
grouding
plug.
The
plug
must
be
pIugged
into
a
matching
outlet
that
is
properly
installed
and
grounded
in
accordance
with
all
local
codes
and
ordinance.
Do
not
modify
the
plug
provided,
if
will
not
fit
the
outlet,
have
the
proper
outlet
instaIIed
by
a
qualified
electrician.
Improper
connection
of
the
equipment
-
grounding
conductor
can
result
in
a
risk
of
electric
shock.
The
conductor
with
insulation
leaving
at
outer
surface
that
is
green
with
or
without
yellow
stripes
is
the
equipmenr:
-
grouding
conductor.
If
repair
or
repIacement
of
the
electric
cord
or
plug
is
necessary,
do
not
connect
the
equipent
-
grouding
conductor
to
a

GROUNDING
METHODS
GROUNDED

GHANGING
SPEEDS
To
change
spindle
speed,
loosen
the
slide
bar
bolr
,
on
the
sight
side
of
the
head.
Slide
the
motor
toward
the
front
of
the
drill
press
and
then
tighten
the
slide
bar
bok.
This
will
loosen
the
belt
and
permir
relocating
rhe
belt
to
the
desired pulley
for
the
required
spindle
speed.
After
selection
has
been
made,
loosen
the
slide bar
boIt
,
slide
the
motor
toward
the
rear
of
the drill
press
and
tighten
the
slide
bar
bolt
again
,
check
the
belt
for
proper
tension
and
make
any
final
adj
ustrnent
.
MAINTENANCE
After using the
machine
you
have
to
dean
it
completely
and
lubricate
all
sliding
and
moving
parts,
For
your
own
safety,
turn
switch
"OFF"
and
remove
plug
from
power
source
outlet
before
rnaintainig
or
lubricating
your
drill
press.
