Charging and Recharging
First time use - It is important to charge the Penguin PR200 Cordless
Sprayer prior to operating the unit.
The external battery charger is a “SMART” charger. It will charge/recharge
the battery and will not over-charge it.
Plug in the external charger electrical cord to a standard 120-VAC grounded
outlet. Plug the other end of the external charger cord to the jack at the
side of the unit.
The external battery charger will be numbered either ① or ② on its label.
This will indicate the charger mode shown on the table below.
The table below will indicate the correct colors of the charging light.
Charger Type ①
Charger Type ②
Green - Charging/Recharging
Red –Charging/Recharging
Red - Charged
Blue - Charged
For the battery to charge/recharge rapidly, it is recommended that the
power switch of the unit be in the ‘OFF’position.
The charging/recharging time may vary depending on the battery’s
available charge. This may take between 1-8 hours.
The manufacturer recommends that the external battery charger be
disconnected from the unit after it is fully charged.
If during operation the unit begins to lose power and you need to continue
using the sprayer, simply reconnect the charger to the jack and the plug to
the electrical outlet. You may continue to operate the unit while the
battery is charging.
It is important to recharge the unit at the end of the day.

6
Operation
Connect the Recoil Hose to the Spray Gun.
Connect the other end of the Recoil Hose to the Quick-Disconnect
at the top-rear of the unit.
Connect the Stainless Steel Lance to the Spray Gun.
Prior to operating the unit, unscrew the Fill Cap and fill the Tank.
Turn the Power Switch to the ‘ON’position.
You will hear the pump begin to run, as the pump pressure builds
up and fills the Recoil Hose, it will stop.
When the trigger of the Spray Gun is depressed, the pump will run.
When the trigger of the Spray Gun is not depressed, the pump will
stop.
Turn the unit OFF when not in use to save the battery’s charge for
the next use.

7
Storage & Maintenance
Empty the unit at the end of each job, and make sure the tank is cleaned
out thoroughly.
Flush the unit with clean water. If mineral deposits are a problem, use a
vinegar rinse.
It is important that the tank and pump are clear of any chemical solution
for any period of time that the Penguin PR200 Cordless Sprayer is idle.
This is necessary, since some solutions contain d’Limonene or a caustic
material, which tends to deteriorate the pump.
In other cases, some diluted solutions tend to coagulate (thicken) when
sitting for a period of time and may cause an obstruction.
If storing in freezing conditions, please make sure that the unit contains no
water, including in the pump, internal lines, and re-coil hose.
