a. Nous attirons votre attention sur le fait
que la correction du dateur n’est pas re-
commandée lorsque l’aiguille des heures
indique une horaire entre 9 heures et 3
heures (moitié supérieure du cadran). Il
est impératif de respecter cette précaution
d’usage an de ne pas endommager le
mouvement.
1) Réglage de l’heure et de la date
Tirer la couronne jusqu’à la première posi-
tion (croquis p.9). Tourner la couronne dans
le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre
jusqu’à la date de la veille (cf. a.). Enn, re-
passer en deuxième position et régler l’heure
en tournant la couronne dans le sens inverse
des aiguilles d’une montre. Lorsque la date
et l’heure ont été réglées, renfoncer la cou-

ter manuellement votre montre, nous vous
précisons que la couronne en «position
0», comme indiqué sur le croquis page 9,
signie que la couronne n’est pas tirée.

3) Matériaux de votre montre
Votre montre a été élaborée en acier.
Elle est équipée d’un verre minéral.
4) Étanchéité
Votre montre est étanche à 10 ATM.
Attention, la garantie ne s’appliquera que si
la tige de la couronne a été correctement
renfoncée en position 0 après les réglages
(croquis p.9)

2) Utilisation du chronographe
Ce chronographe peut mesurer et af-
cher des temps par unité d’une seconde
jusqu’à un maximum de 59 minutes et
59 secondes. La trotteuse indique les se-
condes sans s’arrêter jusqu’à 59 minutes
et 59 secondes après la mise en marche du
chronographe. Le chronographe se met en
marche et s’arrête avec le bouton A (cro-
quis p.9). Il suft d’appuyer sur le bouton
B (croquis p.9) pour remettre le chrono-
graphe à zéro, et à ce moment, la trotteuse
et l’aiguille des minutes du chronographe
reviennent à la position normale.

II. GARANTIE INTERNATIONALE
Votre montre Mauboussin est un modèle
déposé par la Maison, il a été créé, dé-
veloppé et fabriqué selon nos critères
d’exigence. Il porte, gravé au dos, le nu-
méro d’authenticité. Ce même numéro est
reporté sur votre certicat d’authenticité.
Votre montre Mauboussin, acquise auprès
d’un distributeur agréé, est garantie contre
toute défectuosité ou vice de fabrication
pendant deux ans à compter de la date
d’achat, à l’exception d’un choc sur le verre
minéral, du remplacement du bracelet, de la
pile ou du joint d’étanchéité.
Nous vous conseillons de faire contrôler
l’étanchéité de votre montre auprès d’un
de nos distributeurs agréés tous les ans.

a. Please pay attention to the fact the set-
ting of the date is not recommended when
the hour hand indicates a time between
9 o’clock and 3 o’clock (upper half of the
dial). It is imperative to respect this precau-
tion in order not to damage the movement.
Furthermore, we do not recommend to set
the time by turning the hands counter clo-
ckwise.
1) Setting the time and the date
Pull the crown out to the rst position
(sketch p.19). Turn the crown counter clo-
ckwise until the day before the current date
(see a.). Finally, return to the second posi-
tion and set the time by turning the crown
counter clockwise. When the date and time
have been set, push the crown back in to

keep your watch in perfect working order.
Before explaining you how to wind your
watch up, note that “position 0”, as it’s
mentioned on the sketch p.19, means that
the crown is not pulled.

3) Watch components
Your watch has been elaborated with steel.
It is tted with a mineral glass.
4) Water resistance
Your watch is water resistant to 10 ATM.
Warning, the guarantee will apply only if the
crown pin has been correctly pushed back
to position 0 after settings (sketch p.19).

2 ) Using the chronograph
This chronograph is able to measure and
display time in 1/1 second up to maximum
of 59 minutes 59 seconds. The chronograph
second hand keeps running continuously
for 59 minutes 59 seconds after starting.

stopped by pressing button «A» (sketch
p.19). Pressing button « B » (sketch p.19)
resets the chronograph and the chrono-
graph second hand and chronograph
minute hand return to normal position.

II. INTERNATIONAL GUARANTEE
Your watch is a registered model, it has
been created, developed and manufactured
according to the Mauboussin watchmaking
standards. Its authenticity number is engra-
ved on the back. This number appears on
your certicate of authenticity.
Your watch, acquired from a certied dealer,
is guaranteed against any defect or defective
workmanship for two years from the date of
purchase: with the exception to the impact
on the mineral glass, the bracelet replace-
ment, the battery replacement and the seal
replacement.
We advise you to bring back your watch each
year in order to control its water-resistance.
Our guarantee is only valid if the certicate
of authenticity is signed, dated and coun-
tersigned by our certied dealer at the time
of purchase.
This guarantee, under the reserve of the
exceptions mentioned above, is fully com-
prehensive within the limits of normal use
except loss, theft and accidents, and under
condition that any repair shall be carried out
by one of our certied dealers.
