1) Réglage de l’heure
Tirez la couronne jusqu’à la position 2.
(Schéma p.9). Tournez la couronne pour
régler les aiguilles des heures et des minutes.
Lorsque vous renfoncez la couronne jusqu’à
sa position normale, la petite trotteuse se met
à tourner.
2) Réglage de la date
Tirez la couronne jusqu’à la 1eposition.
Tournez la couronne dans le sens des
aiguilles d’une montre.
*Si la date est réglée entre 9 heures du soir
et 1 heure du matin environ,elle ne changera
peut-être pas le jour suivant.
Lorsque la date a été réglée, renfoncez la
couronne jusqu’à sa position normale.

En choisissant cette montre Mauboussin,
vous avez acquis un objet exceptionnel et
rare. Lisez attentivement le mode d’emploi,
il vous permettra de conserver votre montre
en excellent état de marche.
Avant de vous expliquer comment régler
l’heure et la date de votre montre, nous
vous précisons que la couronne en
« position normale », comme indiqué sur le
croquis, signie que la couronne n’est pas
tirée.

4) Réinitialisation du chronographe
(par ex. après le remplacement de la pile )
Cette opération doit être effectuée lorsque
la trotteuse du chronographe ne revient pas
à la position zéro après la remise à zéro du
chronographe, ou bien lorsque la pile a été
remplacée.
Tirez sur la couronne jusqu’à la 2eposition.
Appuyez sur le bouton A pour mettre la
trotteuse du chronographe à la position
zéro. La trotteuse du chronographe
avancera plus rapidement si vous appuyez
en continu sur le bouton A. Lorsque
l’aiguille a été remise à zéro, renfoncez la
couronne jusqu’à sa position normale.
*Ne renfoncez pas la couronne jusqu’à sa

3) Utilisation du chronographe
Ce chronographe peut mesurer et afcher
des temps par unités d’une seconde jusqu’à
un maximum de 59 minutes et 59 secondes.
La trotteuse indique les secondes sans
s’arrêter jusqu’à 59 minutes et 59 secondes
après la mise en marche du chronographe.
Le chronographe se met en marche et
s’arrête avec le bouton A.
Il suffit d’appuyer sur le bouton B pour
remettre le chronographe à zéro, et à
ce moment, la trotteuse et l’aiguille des
minutes du chronographe reviennent à la
position zéro.

Votre montre Mauboussin, acquise auprès
d’un distributeur agréé, est garantie contre
toute défectuosité ou vice de fabrication
pendant trois ans à compter de la date
d’achat, à l’exception d’un choc sur le verre
mineral, du remplacement du bracelet, de la
pile ou du joint d’étanchéité.
Nous vous conseillons de faire contrôler
l’étanchéité de votre montre auprès d’un
de nos distributeurs agréés tous les ans.
Notre garantie est uniquement valable si le
certicat d’authenticité est daté et contresigné

Attention, cette garantie ne s’appliquera
que si la tige de la couronne est en position

1) Setting the time
Pull the crown out to the 2nd position. ( Plan
p.19). Turn the crown to set hour and minute
hands.When the crown is pushed back to the
normal position, small second hand begins
to run.
2) Setting the date
Pull the crown out to the 1st position.
Turn the crown clockwise to set the date.
*If the date is set between the hours of
around 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM, the date
may not change on the following day.
After the date has been set, push the
crown back to the normal position.
3) Using the chronograph
This chronograph is able to measure and

timepiece. These instructions for use
explain clearly its operation. Please read
them carefully, as they will enable you to
keep your watch in perfect working order.
Before starting the time and date setting,
note that “the normal position”, as it’s
mentioned on the sketches, means that the
crown is not pulled.

Pull the crown out to the 2nd position.
Press button «A» to set the chronograph
second hand to the zero position.
The chronograph hand can be advanced
rapidly by continuously pressing button «A».
Once the hand have been zeroed, return
the crown to the normal position.
*Do not push crown to normal position
while the chronograph second hand
returns to zero position. It stops on the way
when crown are returned to normal
position and its position is recognized as
zero position.

The chronograph can be started and
stopped each time button «A » is pressed.
Pressing button «B» resets the chronograph
and the chronograph second hand and
chronograph minute hand return to zero
position.
4) Chronograph reset

This procedure shoud be performed when
the chronograph second hand does not

workmanship for three years from the date

impact on the mineral glass, the bracelet
replacement, the battery replacement and
the seal replacement.
We advise you to bring back your watch each
year in order to control its water-resistance.

of authenticity is signed, dated and
countersigned by our certied dealer at the
time of purchase.
This guarantee, under the reserve of
the exceptions mentioned above, is fully
comprehensive within the limits of normal

II. INTERNATIONAL GUARANTEE
Your watch, which is a registered model, has
been created, developed and manufactured
according to the Mauboussin watchmakers
standards. Its authenticity number is
engraved on the back.This number appears
on your certicate of authenticity.
The Ofcial check stamp of the Control of
Precious Metals gures where applicable and
certies the quality of the noble metals used.

III. SKETCHES use except loss, theft and accidents, and
under condition that any repair shall be
carried out by one of our certied dealers.
For any matter related to this guarantee or
any other after-sales queries, you may send
us your watch directly, accompanied by its
certicate of authenticity and this booklet. In
that case, we recommend that you insure
the watch for transport.
