1) Remontage manuel
Pour assurer à votre montre une réserve de
marche sufsante, il est souhaitable de la
porter quotidiennement. Si elle n’a pas été
portée pendant plusieurs jours, elle doit pré-
alablement être remontée. Pour la remonter,
laisser la couronne, située à 3 heures, en
position normale (Cf. Croquis p.9). Tourner
la couronne dans le sens des aiguilles d’une
montre une trentaine de fois. Par la suite, la
montre se remontera d’elle-même automa-
tiquement grâce aux mouvements de votre
poignet.
2) Réglage de l’heure
Tirer la couronne jusqu’à la deuxième po-
sition ( Cf. Croquis p.9). Tourner la couronne
dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre pour

il vous permettra de conserver votre montre
en excellent état de marche.
Avant de vous expliquer comment remonter
manuellement votre montre, nous vous préci-
sons que la couronne en « position normale »,
comme indiqué sur le croquis page 9,
signie que la couronne n’est pas tirée.

Nous attirons votre attention sur le fait
que la correction rapide du dateur n’est pas
recommandée dans la zone du cadran entre
9 heures et 3 heures (moitié supérieure
du cadran). Il est impératif de respecter ce
mode de réglage an de ne pas endomma-
ger le mouvement. Nous vous déconseillons
une mise à l’heure en faisant tourner les
aiguilles dans le sens inverse des aiguilles
d’une montre.
4) Utilisation du chronographe
Ce chronographe peut mesurer et af-
cher des temps par unité d’une seconde
jusqu’à un maximum de 59 minutes et 59
secondes.
La trotteuse indique les secondes sans
s’arrêter jusqu’à 59 minutes et 59 secondes

régler les heures et les minutes.
Lorsque vous renfoncez la couronne
jusqu’à sa position 0, la petite trotteuse
se met à tourner.
3) Réglage de la date
Tirer la couronne jusqu’à la deuxième po-
sition. Positionner l’aiguille des heures à 6
heures puis revenir à la position 0 (Cf. cro-
quis p.9). Tourner la couronne dans le sens
inverse des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à la
date de la veille. Enn, repasser en deuxième
position et régler la date et l’heure en tour-
nant la couronne dans le sens des aiguilles
d’une montre. Lorsque la date a été réglée,
renfoncer la couronne jusqu’à la position 0.

II. GARANTIE INTERNATIONALE
Votre montre Mauboussin est un modèle
déposé par la Maison, il a été créé, dé-
veloppé et fabriqué selon nos critères
d’exigence. Il porte, gravé au dos, le nu-
méro d’authenticité. Ce même numéro est
reporté sur votre certicat d’authenticité.
Votre montre Mauboussin, acquise auprès
d’un distributeur agréé, est garantie contre
toute défectuosité ou vice de fabrication
pendant deux ans à compter de la date
d’achat, à l’exception d’un choc sur le verre
saphir, du remplacement du bracelet, de la
pile ou du joint d’étanchéité.
Nous vous conseillons de faire contrôler
l’étanchéité de votre montre auprès d’un

après la mise en marche du chronographe.
Le chronographe se met en marche et s’arrête
avec le bouton A (Cf. croquis p.9 ).
Il suft d’appuyer sur le bouton B ( Cf. cro-
quis p.9 ) pour remettre le chronographe
à zéro, et à ce moment, la trotteuse et
l’aiguille des minutes du chronographe
reviennent à la position normale.
5) Matériaux de votre montre
Votre montre a été élaborée en acier.
Elle est équipée d’un verre saphir.
6) Etanchéité
Votre montre est étanche à 10 ATM.
Attention, la garantie ne s’appliquera que
si la tige de la couronne est en position

1) Rewinding
To ensure that your watch has sufcient energy
to work, it is preferable to wear it daily. If you
have not worn it for several days, it must be
wound up before you wear it. This is a mecha-
nical selfwinding watch so the mainspring is
wound automatically due to wrist motion. Let
the crown (situated at 3 o’clock) in normal
position ( sketch p.19 ) and turn it around thirty
times clockwise. «Clockwise » means rotating it
away from you. Wind slowly and consistently.
2) Setting the time
Pull the crown out to the second position
( sketch p.19 ). Turn the crown clockwise
to set hour and minute hands. When the
crown is pushed back to the position 0, the
small second hand begins to turn.

have acquired a rare and exceptional
timepiece. These instructions for use
explain clearly its operation. Please read
them carefully, as they will enable you to
keep your watch in perfect working order.
Before explaining you how wind your watch
up, note that “the normal position”, as it’s
mentioned on the sketch p.19, means that
the crown is not pulled.

4) Using the chronograph
This chronograph is able to measure and
display time in 1/1 second united up to
maximum of 59 minutes 59 seconds.
The chronograph second hand keeps conti-
nuously for 59 minutes 59 seconds after
starting.

The chronograph can be started and stop-
ped each time button «A » ( sketch p.19) is
pressed. Pressing button « B» ( sketch p.19)
resets the chronograph and the chronograph
second hand and chronograph minute hand
return to normal position.

3) Setting the date
Pull the crown out to the second position.
Position the hour hand out 6 o’clock and
come back to the rst position ( sketch
p.19 ). Turn the crown counter clockwise
until the day before the current date. Finally
come back to the second position and set
the date and the hour and minute hands
clockwise. When the date has been set,
push the crown back to its position 0.
Please pay attention to the fact that the
quick setting of the date must not be down
between 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock ( half upper
part of the dial ). We recommend to set the
time clockwise.

purchase: with the exception of the impact
on the sapphire glass, the bracelet replace-

year in order to control its water-resistance.
Our guarantee is only valid if the certicate
of authenticity is signed, dated and coun-
tersigned by our certied dealer at the time
of purchase.
This guarantee, under the reserve of the
exceptions mentioned above, is fully com-

5) Watch components
Your watch has been elaborated with steel. It
is tted with a sapphire glass.
6) Water resistance
Your watch is water resistant to 10 ATM.
Warning, the guarantee is applicable only if
the crown is on normal position (sketch p.19 ).
II. INTERNATIONAL GUARANTEE
Your watch, which is a registered model,has
been created, developed and manufactured
according to the Mauboussin watchmakers
standards. Its authenticity number is engra-
ved on the back. This number appears on
your certicate of authenticity.
The Ofcial check stamp of the Control of

except loss, theft and accidents, and under
condition that any repair shall be carried out
by one of our certied dealers.
For any matter related to this guarantee or
any other after-sales queries, you may send
us your watch directly, accompanied by its
certicate of authenticity and this booklet. In

the watch for transport.
