Anwendungsbereich und Funktionsweise
Der UV-Raumluft-Reiniger eignet sich zur Entkeimung von Räumen mit einem
Raumvolumen von bis zu 60 m3. Das Gerät erzeugt einen doppelten Desinfektions-
Effekt basierend auf ultraviolettem Licht (UV-Licht) und einer damit einhergehenden
Ozonbildung. Mit einem Wellenlängen-Bereich von 185 nm generiert der UV-Reiniger
sehr kurzwellige und energiereiche UV-C-Strahlen, die durch Photolyse des Luftsauerstoffs
Ozon ausbilden. Ozon agiert als gasförmiges Oxidationsmittel, erfasst den gesamten Raum
und neutralisiert Gerüche.
!!! WICHTIGE HINWEISE !!!
ACHTUNG! UV-C Strahlen können erhebliche Schäden am menschlichen Körper, an Tieren,
Pflanzen, Nahrungsmitteln sowie empfindlichen Oberflächen anrichten! Während des
Betriebs des UV-Raumluft-Reinigers dürfen sich keine Menschen, Pflanzen und Tiere im zu
desinfizierenden Raum aufhalten!
Wenn sich größere Pflanzen nicht aus dem Raum entfernen lassen, decken Sie diese
mit einem Handtuch oder Bettlaken ab, um eine direkte UV-Bestrahlung zu vermeiden.
Entfernen Sie vor der Benutzung des UV-Reinigers auch empfindliche Gemälde,
Antiquitäten oder andere wertvolle Gegenstände aus dem Raum oder decken Sie diese ab.
Durch die Bestrahlung mit UV-C Licht sowie durch Ozoneinwirkung können Kunststoff-
und Gummiteile ausbleichen und spröde werden. Es empfiehlt sich, aus diesen Materialien
bestehende Gegenstände vor dem Einsatz des UV-Reinigers zu entfernen
oder abzudecken.
Halten Sie die Türen und Fenster des zu desinfizierenden Raumes während des
Entkeimungs-Vorganges geschlossen! Stellen Sie sicher, dass während des Betriebs keine
anderen Personen oder Tiere Zugang zu dem Raum haben! Beachten Sie unbedingt auch
die nachfolgenden Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise!
Gebrauchsanweisung
ACHTUNG! Bitte vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie vor dem Einschalten des Gerätes, alle
eingangs dieser Anleitung beschriebenen Hinweise sowie alle nachfolgenden Warn- und
Sicherheitshinweise aufmerksam gelesen und befolgt haben!
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach auf der Rückseite der Fernbedienung.
Setzen Sie die mitgelieferte 23A-Batterie ein. Achten Sie auf die richtige Polung!
Stellen Sie den UV-Raumluft-Reiniger auf einen ebenen, standfesten Untergrund (z.B.
Tisch, Schrank). Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an eine geeignete 220 V-Steckdose an.
Schließen Sie alle Fenster und Türen und vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich keine Menschen,
Tiere oder Pflanzen mehr im Raum befinden. Betätigen Sie den Kipp-Hauptschalter am
Netzkabel, um die Stromversorgung des Gerätes einzuschalten (I). Drücken Sie den ON/
OFF-Knopf an der Fernbedienung, um die Luftreinigung mittels UV-Licht zu aktivieren
bzw. zu deaktivieren. Die Quarzglas-Lampe startet nicht sofort, sondern erst mit einer
10-Sekunden Einschaltverzögerung, damit Sie sicher den Raum verlassen können.
ACHTUNG! Schauen Sie nicht direkt in das UV-Licht!
Abhängig vom zu erzielenden Entkeimungsergebnis, können Sie den Timer auf 15, 30
oder 60 Minuten voreinstellen. Drücken Sie hierzu einmal die gewünschte Laufzeit auf
der Fernbedieneinheit, um den Initialisierungsvorgang zu starten. Der Entkeimungs-
Prozess kann jederzeit durch Drücken der ON/OFF-Taste auf der Fernbedienung beendet
werden. Bei Nutzung der Timervorwahl schaltet sich der Luftreiniger automatisch
nach der gewählten Laufzeit aus. Betätigen Sie den Kippschalter am Netzkabel, um
die Stromversorgung des Gerätes nach dem Gebrauch abzuschalten. Trennen Sie den
Netzstecker nach dem Gebrauch vom Stromnetz.
Während der Luftreinigung mittels UV-C-Strahlen wird auf natürliche Weise Ozon (O3)
generiert, welches den Desinfektionsprozess zusätzlich unterstützt. Ozon ist sehr instabil
und zerfällt schnell wieder in seinen Ausgangszustand O2 (Sauerstoff). Der Kontakt
mit Ozon kann zu einer Reizung der Atemwege führen. Nach der Anwendung des
UV-Raumluft-Reinigers sollten Sie daher mindestens 40 Minuten warten, ehe Sie den Raum
wieder betreten. Anschließend den Raum ausgiebig lüften.

ACHTUNG! Bei der Verwendung des Gerätes dürfen sich keine Menschen, Pflanzen und

ACHTUNG! Gefahr von körperlichen Schäden! Eine übermäßige UV-Absorption kann
zu Hautreizungen und Bindehautschäden führen. Blicken Sie nicht in das UV-Licht und
richten Sie das UV-Licht nicht auf andere Menschen und Tiere!
ACHTUNG! Gefahr von körperlichen Beeinträchtigungen! Ein längerer Kontakt mit Ozon
kann zu Atembeschwerden führen.
ACHTUNG! Gefahr durch Verbrennungen! Lassen Sie das Gerät nach seiner Verwendung
zunächst abkühlen, bevor Sie es berühren!
ACHTUNG! Kurzschlussgefahr! Die elektronischen Bauteile des Gerätes sowie das
Netzkabel dürfen nicht mit Wasser oder Feuchtigkeit in Berührung kommen!
Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht auf einer instabilen, feuchten oder heißen Oberfläche!
Das Gerät ist nur für Innenbereiche geeignet! Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien!
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn das Gerät selbst, der Stecker oder das Kabel

Ziehen Sie erst den Netzstecker, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.

Application area and functioning
The UV ambient air purifier is suitable for disinfecting rooms with a room volume up to 60
m3. The devices produces a double disinfection effect based on ultraviolet light (UV light)
and the accompanying formation of ozone. With a wavelength of 185 nm, the UV air
purifier emits very short-wave, high-energy UVC rays that genereate ozone by photolysis
of atmospheric oxygen. Ozone acts as a gaseous oxidising agent, spreads through the
entire room and neutralises odours.
!!! IMPORTANT NOTES !!!
CAUTION! UVC radiation can cause considerable damage to human body, animals, plants,
food and sensitive surfaces! During operation of the UV air purifier, no people, animals,
plants are allowed to be present in the room to be disinfected!
If larger plants cannot be removed from the room, cover them with a towel or sheet to
avoid direct UV radiation. Before using the UV air purifier, also remove or cover sensitive
paintings, antiques or other valuable objects from the room.
Exposure to UVC light and ozone can cause plastic and rubber parts to fade and become
brittle. It is recommended to remove or cover objects made of these materials before
using the UV air purifier.
Keep the doors and windows of the room to be disinfected closed during the disinfection
process! Make sure that no other persons or animals have access to the room during
operation! It is essential to observe the following warning and safety instructions!
Instructions of use
ATTENTION! Before you start the device, please make sure that you have carefully read
and followed all the instructions described at the beginning of this manual and all the
following warnings and safety instructions!
Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. Insert the supplied 23A
battery. Ensure the correct polarity!
Put the UV ambient air purifier on a flat, stable surface (e.g. table or cupboard). Connect
the power cord to a suitable 220 V socket. Close all windows and doors and make sure
that there are no people, animals or plants left in the room. Press the toggle switch on
the power cord to switch on the power supply of the device (I). Press the ON/OFF button
on the remote control to activate or deactivate the air purification by UV light. The quartz
glass lamp does not start immediately, but only after a delay of 10-seconds so that you can
leave the room safely. CAUTION! Do not look into the UV light!
Depending on the disinfection result to be achieved, you can preset the timer to 15, 30 or
60 minutes. To do this, press the desired running time once on the remote control to start

the initialisation process. The disinfection process can be stopped at any time by pressing
the ON/OFF button on the remote control. When using the timer preselection, the air
purifier switches off automatically after the selected running time. After use, press the
toggle switch on the power cord to switch off the power supply. Unplug the power cable
from the mains power socket.
During the air cleaning process by means of UV-C rays, ozone (O3) is generated in a
natural manner and additionally supports the disinfection process. Ozone is very unstable
and quickly decomposes back to its original state O2 (oxygen). Contact with ozone can
lead to irritation of the respiratory tract. After using the UV ambient air purifier, you
should therefore wait at least 40 minutes before entering the room again. Then ventilate
the room extensively.

breathing difficulties.
CAUTION! Risk of burns! After use, let the device cool down before touching it!
CAUTION! Risk of electrocution! The electronic parts of the device and the power cable
must not come into contact with water or moisture!
Do not use the product on an unstable, wet or hot surface!
The device is only suitable for indoor use! Do not operate the device outdoors!
The device is not suitable for room illumination!
Do not use the device, if the device itself, the power plug or the cable is damaged.
Unplug the power adaptor before cleaning the device.
Always disconnect the device from the mains power supply after use.
Do not use the device in close distance of heat sources or electrical equipment
or inflammable gases!
Do not use the device near highly inflammable objects such as curtains, towels, etc.!
Replacement of the UV lamp or repair of the device may only be carried out by qualified
personnel!

L'épurateur UV d'air ambiant est approprié pour la désinfection des pièces d'un volume
atteignant 60 m3. L'appareil produit un double effet de désinfection basé sur la lumière
ultraviolette (UV) et la formation d'ozone qui y est associée. Avec une gamme de
longueurs d'onde de 185 nm, l'épurateur UV génère des rayons UV-C de très courte
longueur d'onde et de haute énergie, qui forment de l'ozone par photolyse de l'oxygène
atmosphérique. L'ozone agit comme un agent oxydant gazeux, couvre toute la pièce et
neutralise les odeurs.
!!! INDICATIONS IMPORTANTES !!!
ATTENTION ! Les rayons UV-C peut provoquer des dommages considérables au corps
humain, aux animaux, aux plantes, aux aliments ainsi qu'aux surfaces sensibles ! Aucune
personne, aucun animal et aucune plante ne doit être présent dans la pièce à désinfecter
pendant le fonctionnement de l'épurateur UV d'air ambiant !
S'il vous est impossible d'éloigner les grandes plantes de la pièce à désinfecter, recouvrez-
les avec une serviette ou un drap pour éviter une irradiation UV directe. Avant d'utiliser
l'épurateur UV, éloignez de la pièce ou recouvrez également les peintures, antiquités ou
autres objets de
valeur sensibles.
Les pièces en plastique et en caoutchouc peuvent se décolorer et se fragiliser lorsqu'elles
sont exposées aux rayons UV-C et suite à l'action de l'ozone. Il est recommandé d'éloigner
de la pièce ou de recouvrir les objets constitués de ces matériaux avant d'utiliser
l'épurateur UV.
Tenez fermées les portes et les fenêtres de la pièce à désinfecter pendant le processus de
désinfection ! Assurez-vous qu'aucune personne et aucun animal ne pénètre dans la pièce
pendant le fonctionnement de l'appareil ! Tenez également compte, impérativement, des
avertissements et des consignes de sécurité suivantes !
Mode d'emploi
ATTENTION ! Avant de mettre en marche l'appareil, veuillez vous assurer que vous avez
lu attentivement et mis en application toutes les indications décrites au début du présent
mode d'emploi ainsi que tous les avertissements et consignes de sécurité ci-après !
Ouvrez le compartiment à pile sur la face arrière de la télécommande. Mettez en place la
pile de 23A fournie. Veillez au respect de la bonne polarité !
Placez l'épurateur UV d'air ambiant sur une surface plane et stable (par ex. une table
ou une armoire). Branchez le cordon d'alimentation à une prise de courant de 220 V
appropriée. Fermez toutes les fenêtres et les portes et assurez-vous qu'il n'y a plus de
personnes, d'animaux ou de plantes dans la pièce. Actionnez l'interrupteur principal à
bascule sur le cordon d'alimentation pour activer l'alimentation électrique de l'appareil (I).
Appuyez sur le bouton ON/OFF sur la télécommande pour activer ou désactiver l'épuration
d'air à l'aide de la lumière UV. La lampe à verre de silice ne s'allume pas immédiatement,
mais seulement avec un retard de mise en circuit de 10 secondes afin que vous puissiez
quitter la pièce en toute sécurité.
ATTENTION ! Ne regardez pas directement vers la lumière UV !
Selon le résultat de désinfection que vous souhaitez obtenir, vous pouvez prérégler
la minuterie sur 15, 30 ou 60 minutes. Pour ce faire, appuyez une fois sur le temps de
fonctionnement souhaité sur la télécommande pour lancer le processus d'initialisation.
Vous pouvez arrêter le processus de désinfection à tout moment en appuyant sur
le bouton ON/OFF de la télécommande. Lorsque vous utilisez la présélection de la
minuterie, l'épurateur d'air s'arrête automatiquement après la durée de fonctionnement
sélectionnée. Actionnez l'interrupteur à bascule sur le cordon d'alimentation pour
arrêter l'alimentation électrique de l'appareil après l'utilisation. Débranchez le cordon
d'alimentation de la prise du réseau électrique après l'utilisation.
Lors du processus d'épuration de l'air par les rayons UV-C, de l'ozone (O3) est généré
naturellement, ce qui soutient davantage le processus de désinfection. L'ozone est
très instable et se décompose rapidement pour revenir à son état initial O2 (oxygène).
Le contact avec l'ozone peut provoquer une irritation des voies respiratoires. Après
l'utilisation de l'épurateur UV d'air ambiant, vous devrez donc attendre au moins 40
minutes avant d'entrer à nouveau dans la pièce. Ensuite, aérer abondamment la pièce.
Avertissements et indications de sécurité
Cet appareil n‘est pas un jouet ! Conserver hors de la portée des enfants !
ATTENTION ! L'appareil ne convient pas pour être utilisé en tant que source lumineuse !
ATTENTION ! Pendant l'utilisation de l'appareil, aucune personne ou plante et aucun
animal ne doit être présent dans la pièce !
ATTENTION! Risque des blessures ! Une absorption excessive de la lumière UV peut
entraîner une irritation de la peau et des lésions conjonctivales. Ne regardez pas dans la
lumière UV et ne dirigez pas la lumière UV vers d‘autres personnes ou des animaux !
ATTENTION ! Risque de dommages corporels ! Un contact prolongé avec l'ozone peut
provoquer des trouble de la respiration.
ATTENTION ! Risque de brûlures !
Laissez l'appareil refroidir après son utilisation avant de le toucher !
ATTENTION ! Risque de court-circuit ! L’appareil ne doit en aucun cas entrer en contact
avec l’eau ou l’humidité !
N'utilisez pas le produit sur une surface instable, humide ou très chaude !
L'appareil doit exclusivement être utilisé à l'intérieur !
N'utilisez pas l'appareil à l'extérieur !
Ne pas utiliser l’appareil si la fiche ou le câble présente des dommages.
Débranchez l’adaptateur secteur avant de nettoyer l’appareil.
Débranchez toujours la fiche d’alimentation après usage.
N'utilisez pas l'appareil à proximité immédiate de sources de chaleur, d'appareils
électriques ou de gaz inflammables !
N'utilisez pas l'appareil à proximité d'objets facilement inflammables tels que les rideaux,
les serviettes, etc. !
Le remplacement de l'unité de lampe UV et la réparation de l'appareil doivent être
réalisés exclusivement par un personnel spécialisé !
Consignes pour le nettoyage et l‘entretien
Nettoyez le produit uniquement avec un chiffon humide.

Alcance y funcionamiento
El purificador de aire ambiental UV es adecuado para la desinfección de habitaciones
con un volumen de hasta 60 m3. El dispositivo produce un doble efecto de desinfección
basado en la luz ultravioleta (luz UV) y la formación de ozono correspondiente. Con un
rango de longitudes de onda de 185 nm, el purificador de UV genera rayos UV-C de onda
muy corta y de alta energía, que forman el ozono por fotolisis del oxígeno atmosférico. El
ozono actúa como oxidante gaseoso, cubre toda la habitación y neutraliza los olores.
¡¡¡ INDICACIONES IMPORTANTES!!!
¡ATENCIÓN! ¡La radiación UV-C puede causar un daño considerable al cuerpo
humano, animales, plantas, alimentos y superficies sensibles! ¡NO DEBE HABER
PERSONAS, ANIMALES O PLANTAS EN LA HABITACIÓN A DESINFECTAR DURANTE EL
FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL DISPOSITIVO!
Si las plantas más grandes no pueden ser removidas de la habitación, cúbralas con una
toalla o sábana para evitar la radiación UV directa. También retire o cubra las pinturas y
cuadros sensibles, antigüedades u otros objetos valiosos de la habitación antes de usar el
depurador UV.
Las partes plásticas y de goma pueden descolorarse y volverse quebradizas cuando se
exponen a la luz UV-C y al ozono. Se recomienda quitar o cubrir los objetos hechos de
estos materiales antes de usar el purificador de rayos ultravioleta.
¡Mantenga cerradas las puertas y ventanas de la habitación a desinfectar durante el
proceso de desinfección! ¡Asegúrese de que ninguna otra persona o animal tenga
acceso a la habitación durante la operación! ¡Preste sin falta atención a las siguientes
instrucciones de seguridad y de advertencia!
Instrucciones para el uso
¡ATENCIÓN! ¡Antes de encender el dispositivo, por favor asegúrese de haber leído y
seguido cuidadosamente todas las instrucciones descritas al principio de este manual, así
como todas las siguientes advertencias e instrucciones de seguridad!
Abra el compartimento de pilas que se encuentra en la parte posterior del mando a
distancia. Inserte la batería de 23A incluida en el suministro.
¡Prestar atención en la correcta polaridad!
Ponga el purificador de aire ambiental UV sobre una superficie plana y estable (por
ejemplo, una mesa, un armario). Conecte el cable de alimentación a una toma de corriente
adecuada de 220 V. Cierre todas las ventanas y puertas y asegúrese de que no haya más
personas, animales o plantas en la habitación. Presione el interruptor principal del cable
de alimentación para encender la unidad (I). Pulse el botón ON/OFF del control remoto
para activar o desactivar la purificación del aire mediante luz UV. La lámpara de cuarzo no
se enciende inmediatamente, sino sólo con un retraso de 10 segundos en el encendido,
para que pueda salir de la habitación con seguridad.
¡ATENCIÓN! ¡No mire directamente a la luz ultravioleta!
Dependiendo del resultado de la desinfección que se logre, se puede preajustar el
temporizador a 15, 30 o 60 minutos. Para ello, pulse una vez el tiempo de ejecución
deseado en la unidad de control remoto para que comience el proceso de inicialización.
El proceso de desinfección puede detenerse en cualquier momento pulsando el botón ON/
OFF del control remoto. Cuando se utiliza la preselección del temporizador, el purificador
de aire se apaga automáticamente después del tiempo de funcionamiento seleccionado.
Pulse el interruptor de conmutación del cable de alimentación para apagar la unidad
después de su uso. Desconecte el enchufe de la red eléctrica después de haberlo usado.
Durante la purificación del aire por medio de los rayos UV-C, el ozono (O3) se genera
naturalmente, lo que adicionalmente apoya el proceso de desinfección. El ozono es
muy inestable y rápidamente decae a su estado inicial O2 (oxígeno). El contacto con el
ozono puede causar irritación del aparato respiratorio. Por lo tanto, después de usar el
purificador de aire ambiental UV, debe esperar al menos 40 minutos antes de volver a
entrar en la habitación. A continuación, ventile la habitación intensamente.

¡ATENCIÓN! ¡Peligro de cortocircuito! ¡Los componentes electrónicos del dispositivo y el
cable de alimentación no deberán entrar en contacto con el agua o la humedad!
¡No use el producto en una superficie inestable, húmeda o caliente!
¡El dispositivo sólo es apto para su uso en interiores! ¡No utilice el dispositivo al aire libre!
No utilice el dispositivo si el enchufe o el cable estuvieran dañados.
Desconecte el adaptador de alimentación antes de limpiar el dispositivo.
Desconecte siempre el enchufe de la fuente de alimentación después de su uso.
¡No utilice el aparato en las proximidades de fuentes de calor, aparatos eléctricos o gases

Il purificatore d'aria a raggi UV è adatto per la disinfezione di ambienti fino a 60 m3
di volume. L'apparecchio genera un doppio effetto disinfettante basato sulla luce
ultravioletta (luce UV) con correlata generazione di ozono. Mediante una lunghezza
d'onda da 185 nm, il purificatore UV genera radiazioni UV-C a onde molto corte e di
elevata potenza le quali, tramite fotolisi dell'ossigeno nell'aria, danno origine all'azoto.
L'azoto è un agente ossidante sotto forma di gas, saturando tutta la stanza neutralizza i
cattivi odori.
!!! INDICAZIONI IMPORTANTI !!!
ATTENZIONE! Le radiazioni UV-C possono causare gravi lesioni al corpo umano, ad animali
e piante come anche procurare danni considerevoli a prodotti alimentari e superfici
sensibili! Durante il funzionamento dell'apparecchio, la stanza da disinfettare non deve
essere occupata da persone, animali o piante!
Nel caso sia impossibile trasportare fuori dalla stanza piante di dimensioni più grandi, è
opportuno coprirle con un telo o un lenzuolo per sottrarle all'esposizione diretta delle
radiazioni ultraviolette. Prima di utilizzare il purificatore UV, rimuovere dalla stanza anche
dipinti, oggetti di antiquariato o altri oggetti preziosi oppure provvedere a coprirli.
In seguito all'esposizione ai raggi UV-C e all'effetto dell'ozono, le parti in plastica e in
gomma possono sbiadire o screpolarsi. Si consiglia pertanto di rimuovere o coprire gli
oggetti realizzati con questi materiali, prima di procedere all'utilizzo del purificatore UV.
Durante il procedimento di sanificazione tenere chiuse porte e finestre dell'ambiente da
disinfettare. Assicurarsi che durante il funzionamento non abbiano accesso alla stanza
altre persone o animali! Prestare assoluta attenzione anche alle seguenti avvertenze e
indicazioni sulla sicurezza!
Istruzioni per l’uso
ATTENZIONE! Prima dell'accensione dell'apparecchio assicurarsi che vengano lette e
seguite attentamente tutte le indicazioni riportate all'inizio nel presente manuale d'uso
come anche tutte le seguenti avvertenze e indicazioni sulla sicurezza!
Aprire il vano batterie posto sul lato posteriore del telecomando.
Inserire le batterie 23A fornite in dotazione. Prestare attenzione alla corretta polarità!
Posizionare il purificatore d'aria UV su di una superficie piana e stabile (p.e. tavolo,
armadio). Collegare il cavo di alimentazione ad una presa adatta da 220 V. Chiudere tutte
le porte e le finestre ed assicurarsi che all'interno della stanza non siano più presenti
persone, animali o piante. Azionare l'interruttore a levetta principale posizionato sul
cavo di alimentazione per attivare l'alimentazione di corrente elettrica dell'apparecchio
(I). Premere il pulsante ON/OFF sul telecomando per attivare o disattivare la purificazione
dell'aria tramite luce UV. La lampada al vetro di quarzo non si attiva subito, ma
entra in funzione solo dopo 10 secondi dal momento dell'accensione, per permettere
all'utilizzatore di uscire dalla stanza in piena sicurezza.
ATTENZIONE! Non guardare direttamente la luce UV!
In base al risultato di sanificazione che si vuole raggiungere, è possibile impostare un
timer di 15, 30 o 60 minuti. Per fare ciò premere una volta il tasto di durata prescelta sul
telecomando e il processo di inizializzazione viene attivato. Il processo di sanificazione
può essere arrestato in ogni momento premendo il tasto ON/OFF sul telecomando.
Selezionando il timer, il purificatore d'aria si spegne automaticamente al termine della
durata impostata. Azionare l'interruttore a levetta principale posizionato sul cavo di
alimentazione per interrompere l'alimentazione di corrente elettrica dell'apparecchio (I).
Dopo l'utilizzo estrarre il cavo di alimentazione dalla rete di corrente elettrica.
Durante il ciclo di purificazione dell'aria tramite i raggi UV-C viene generato ozono (O3)
in modo naturale, questo contribuisce ulteriormente al processo di disinfezione. L'ozono

Dopo l'impiego del purificatore d'aria UV attendere almeno 40 minuti prima di entrare
nuovamente nella stanza. Dopodiché arieggiare abbondantemente la stanza.

l'ozono può condurre a disturbi delle vie respiratorie.
ATTENZIONE! Pericolo di ustioni! Dopo l'utilizzo far raffreddare l'apparecchio,
prima di toccarlo!
ATTENZIONE! Pericolo di cortocircuito! Le componenti elettroniche dell'apparecchio come
anche il cavo di alimentazione non devono entrare in contatto con acqua o umidità!
Non utilizzare il prodotto su superfici instabili, umide o calde!
L'apparecchio è adatto esclusivamente per ambienti interni! Non utilizzare l'apparecchio
in ambienti esterni!
Non utilizzare l’apparecchio qualora la spina o il cavo siano danneggiati.
Staccare l’adattatore di rete, prima di pulire l’apparecchio.
Dopo l’impiego, staccare sempre la spina dalla rete di corrente elettrica.

Toepassing en werking
De UV-luchtreiniger is geschikt voor het desinfecteren van ruimten van maximaal 60 m3.
Het apparaat heeft een dubbele desinfecterende werking op basis van ultraviolet licht
(UV-licht) en de vorming van ozon die daarmee gepaard gaat. Met een golflengte van
185 nm genereert de UV-reiniger energierijke UV-C-stralen met een zeer korte golflengte,
die door fotolyse met de zuurstof in de lucht ozon produceren. Ozon is een gasvormig
oxidatiemiddel dat de complete ruimte bereikt en geuren neutraliseert.
!!! BELANGRIJK!!!
LET OP! UV-C-stralen kunnen ernstige schade aan het menselijk lichaam, dieren, planten,
levensmiddelen en kwetsbare oppervlakken veroorzaken! Als de UV-luchtreiniger in
bedrijf is, mogen er geen personen, dieren en planten aanwezig zijn in de ruimte die
gedesinfecteerd wordt!
Als grote planten niet uit de ruimte verwijderd kunnen worden, dek deze dan met een
handdoek of beddenlaken af om directe blootstelling aan de UV-stralen te voorkomen.
Verwijder voor gebruik van de UV-reiniger ook kwetsbare schilderijen, antieke spullen of
andere waardevolle voorwerpen
uit de ruimte of dek deze af.
Door de blootstelling aan UV-C-stralen en ozon kunnen kunststof- en rubberonderdelen
verbleken en broos worden. Het is raadzaam voorwerpen van dit materiaal voor het
gebruik van de UV-reiniger eveneens te verwijderen of af te dekken.
Houd deuren en ramen gesloten terwijl de ruimte gedesinfecteerd wordt! Zorg ervoor
dat andere personen of dieren geen toegang tot de ruimte hebben! Neem onderstaande
waarschuwingen en veiligheidsinstructies te allen tijde in acht!
Gebruiksaanwijzing
LET OP! Zorg ervoor dat u alle aanwijzingen die aan het begin van deze handleiding
staan evenals alle onderstaande waarschuwingen en veiligheidsinstructies zorgvuldig
gelezen hebt en in acht neemt alvorens u het apparaat inschakelt!
Open het batterijvakje aan de achterzijde van de afstandsbediening. Plaats de
meegeleverde batterij. Zorg ervoor dat de batterij in de juiste richting geplaatst is!
Zet de UV-luchtreiniger op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond (bijvoorbeeld tafel of kast)
neer. Steek de stekker in een geschikt 220 V stopcontact. Sluit alle deuren en ramen en
zorg ervoor dat er geen personen, dieren of planten meer in de ruimte aanwezig zijn.
Druk de schakelaar aan het snoer in om de stroomvoorziening van het apparaat in te
schakelen (I). Druk op de ON/OFF-knop op de afstandsbediening om luchtreiniging met
UV-licht in of uit te schakelen. De lamp gaat niet meteen aan, maar pas na 10 seconden,
zodat u de ruimte veilig kunt verlaten. LET OP! Niet direct in het UV-licht kijken!
Afhankelijk van het desinfectieresultaat dat u wilt bereiken, kunt u de timer instellen op
15, 30 of 60 minuten. Druk daartoe één keer op de knop met de gewenste duur op de
afstandsbediening om de reiniging te starten. Het desinfectieproces kan op elk moment
met de ON/OFF-knop op de afstandsbediening beëindigd worden. Bij gebruik van de timer
wordt de luchtreiniger na afloop van de ingestelde tijd automatisch uitgeschakeld. Druk
de schakelaar aan het snoer in om de stroomvoorziening van het apparaat na gebruik uit
te schakelen. Haal de stekker na gebruik uit het stopcontact.
Tijdens de luchtreiniging met UV-C-stralen wordt op natuurlijke wijze ozon (O3)
geproduceerd, dat het desinfectieproces aanvullend ondersteunt. Ozon is zeer instabiel
en wordt snel weer afgebroken in zijn begintoestand, O2 (zuurstof). Contact met ozon
kan irritatie van de luchtwegen veroorzaken. Na gebruik van de UV-luchtreiniger moet u
daarom ten minste 40 minuten wachten tot u de ruimte weer betreedt. Vervolgens moet
de ruimte uitgebreid gelucht worden.
Waarschuwingen en veiligheidsinstructies
Geen speelgoed! Buiten het bereik van kinderen houden!
LET OP! Het apparaat niet als lichtbron gebruiken!
LET OP! Als het apparaat in gebruik is, mogen er geen personen, dieren en planten
aanwezig zijn in de ruimte die gedesinfecteerd wordt!
LET OP! Gevaar voor verwondingen! Overmatige blootstelling aan UV-straling kan
huidirritatie en oogschade tot gevolg hebben.
Kijk niet in het UV-licht en richt het UV-licht niet op andere mensen en dieren!
LET OP! Gevaar voor lichamelijk letsel! Langdurige blootstelling aan ozon kan
luchtwegproblemen veroorzaken.
LET OP! Gevaar voor brandwonden! Laat het apparaat na gebruik eerst afkoelen voordat
u het aanraakt!
LET OP! Gevaar voor kortsluiting! De elektrische onderdelen van het apparaat en de USB-
kabel mogen niet met water of vocht in aanraking komen!
Zet het apparaat niet op een instabiel, vochtig of heet oppervlak neer!
Het apparaat is alleen geschikt voor binnen! Gebruik het apparaat niet buiten!
Gebruik het apparaat niet als de stekker of de kabel beschadigingen vertoont.
Trek eerst de stekker uit de voeding, voordat u het apparaat gaat reinigen.
Haal de stekker na gebruik altijd uit de voeding.
Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van warmtebronnen, elektrische apparaten of
ontvlambare gassen!
Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van licht ontvlambare voorwerpen, zoals gordijnen,
handdoeken, enz.!
Alleen vakpersoneel mag de UV-lamp vervangen of het apparaat repareren!
