verwenden, sondern den Kundenservice

Eventuelle Folien, Aufkleber oder
Transportschutz vom Gerät abnehmen.
Niemals das Typenschild und eventuelle
Warnhinweise entfernen!
 Für den Gebrauch der Fern-
bedienung werden zusätzlich zwei
1,5 V-Batterien, AAA benötigt.
Diese sind nicht im Lieferumfang

GEBRAUCH
■Dieses Gerät ist zum Kühlen, Be-
feuchten, Erfrischen sowie Ionisieren
von Luft in Innenräumen bestimmt.
■Das Gerät ist für eine Fläche von
maximal 25 m2geeignet. Es ersetzt
keine Klimaanlage.
■Das Gerät ist für den privaten Ge-
brauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche
Nutzung bestimmt.
■Das Gerät nur für den angegebenen
Zweck und nur wie in der Gebrauchs-
anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede
weitere Verwendung gilt als bestim-
mungswidrig.
■Von der Gewährleistung ausge-
schlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch
unsachgemäße Behandlung, Beschä-
digung, Verkalkung oder Reparatur-
versuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch für
den normalen Verschleiß.

Das Gerät nutzt die Verdunstung von Wasser, um einen natürlichen Kühleffekt zu
erzeugen – ganz ohne Chemie. Das Touch-Bedienfeld und die mitgelieferte Fern-
bedienung ermöglichen zudem eine einfache und bequeme Steuerung.

Lies vor dem ersten Gebrauch des Gerätes diese Gebrauchsanleitung sorgfältig
durch und bewahre sie für spätere Fragen und weitere Nutzer auf. Sie ist ein Be-
standteil des Gerätes. Hersteller und Importeur übernehmen keine Haftung, wenn
die Angaben in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung nicht beachtet werden.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
■Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Perso-
nen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und / oder Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die
daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
■Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie werden beaufsichtigt.
■Das Gerät ist nicht dazu bestimmt, mit einer externen Zeit-
schaltuhr oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem betrieben zu
werden.
■Das Gerät ist bei nicht vorhandener Aufsicht, beim Befüllen
oder Entleeren des Wassertanks sowie vor dem Reinigen und
dem Wechsel der Wabenfilter stets vom Netz zu trennen.
■Keine Veränderungen am Gerät vornehmen. Wenn das Gerät,
der Netzadapter oder das Netzkabel beschädigt sind, müssen
diese Teile durch den Hersteller, Kundenservice oder eine ähn-
lich qualifizierte Person (z.B. Fachwerkstatt) ersetzt werden,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
GEFAHR – Stromschlaggefahr
■Das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räu-
men verwenden und lagern.
■Das Gerät nicht in Räumen mit hoher
Luftfeuchtigkeit verwenden.
■Das Gerät und die Anschlussleitung
niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüs-
sigkeiten eintauchen und sicherstel-
len, dass diese nicht ins Wasser fallen
oder nass werden können.
■Sollte das Gerät ins Wasser fallen
oder umkippen, nachdem es mit
Wasser befüllt wurde, sofort die
Stromzufuhr unterbrechen. Nicht
versuchen, dieses aus dem Wasser zu
ziehen, während es an das Strom-
netz angeschlossen ist! Vor erneuter
Inbetriebnahme das Gerät von einer
Fachwerkstatt prüfen lassen.
■Das Gerät und die Anschlussleitung
niemals mit feuchten Händen berüh-
ren, wenn diese Komponenten an das
Stromnetz angeschlossen sind.

WARNUNG – Brandgefahr
■Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von
leicht entzündbaren Materialien
(Gardinen, Textilien, etc.) verwenden.
Keine brennbaren Materialien (z.B.
Pappe, Papier, Kunststoff) auf das
Gerät legen.
■Nichts in die Öffnungen des Gerätes
stecken und sicherstellen, dass diese
nicht verstopft sind. Mit verstopften
Öffnungen darf das Gerät nicht ver-
wendet werden.
WARNUNG – Verletzungs-
gefahr
■Kinder und Tiere von Plastikbeuteln
und -folien fernhalten. Es besteht
Erstickungsgefahr.
■Kleinkinder und Tiere mit dem Gerät
nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen.
■Darauf achten, dass die Anschlusslei-
tung keine Stolpergefahr darstellt. Es
besteht Sturzgefahr.
■Sicherstellen, dass die Anschluss-
leitung stets außer Reichweite von
Kleinkindern und Tieren ist. Es be-
steht Strangulationsgefahr.
■Batterien können bei Verschlucken
lebensgefährlich sein. Batterien und
Fernbedienung für kleine Kinder und
Tiere unerreichbar aufbewahren.
Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt,
muss sofort medizinische Hilfe in
Anspruch genommen werden. Es
besteht Verätzungsgefahr durch
Batteriesäure.
■Sollte eine Batterie auslaufen,
Körperkontakt mit der Batteriesäure
vermeiden, ggf. Schutzhandschuhe
tragen. Bei Kontakt mit Batteriesäure
die betroffenen Stellen sofort mit
reichlich klarem Wasser spülen und
umgehend medizinische Hilfe in
Anspruch nehmen. Es besteht Verät-
zungsgefahr durch Batteriesäure.
HINWEIS – Risiko von Material- und
Sachschäden
■Die Anschlussleitung so verlegen,
dass sie nicht gequetscht oder ge-
knickt wird und nicht mit heißen Flä-
chen in Berührung kommt (gilt auch
für die heißen Flächen des Gerätes!).
■Das Gerät ausschalten und den Netz-
stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen,
wenn während des Betriebs ein Feh-
ler auftritt, oder vor einem Gewitter.
■Das Gerät immer zuerst ausschalten,
bevor der Netzstecker aus der Steck-
dose gezogen wird. Beim Heraus-
ziehen aus der Steckdose immer am
Netzstecker und nie am Netzkabel
ziehen!
■Das Gerät niemals an der Anchlusslei-
tung ziehen oder tragen.
■Das Gerät nicht kippen o.Ä., wenn
sich Wasser im Wassertank bzw. der
Wasserschale befindet.
■Das Gerät vor anderen Wärmequel-
len, offenem Feuer, Minustempera-
turen, lang anhaltender Feuchtigkeit,
Nässe und Stößen schützen.
■Keine schweren Gegenstände auf das
Gerät legen oder stellen.
■Nur Original-Zubehörteile des Her-
stellers verwenden, um die Funkti-
onsweise des Gerätes nicht zu beein-
trächtigen und eventuelle Schäden zu
verhindern.
HINWEIS – Risiko von Material- und
Sachschäden durch Batterien
■Nur den in den technischen Daten
angegebenen Batterietyp verwenden.
■Batterien aus der Fernbedienung he-
rausnehmen, wenn diese verbraucht
sind oder die Fernbedienung längere
Zeit nicht benutzt wird. So werden
Schäden durch Auslaufen vermieden.

■Die Fernbedienung nicht verwenden,
wenn eine Batterie ausgelaufen ist.
Ausgelaufene Batterien sofort aus
dem Batteriefach nehmen.
■Immer alle Batterien ersetzen.
Keine verschiedenen Batterietypen,
-marken oder Batterien mit unter-
schiedlicher Kapazität benutzen.
FUNKTIONSÜBERSICHT
DER BEDIENELEMENTE
Die Kontrollleuchten über den jeweiligen
Bedienfeldern zeigen an, welche Funkti-
onen aktiviert sind.
Bedienfeld
ION (18)
Luftreinigung aktivieren/deaktivieren
Wenn diese Funktion aktiv ist, werden
negativ geladene Ionen freigesetzt, die
Schmutzpartikel aus der Luft binden.
TIMER (19)
Timer aktivieren/einstellen/deaktiveren
Das Gerät verfügt über einen 24-Stun-
den-Timer. Diesen durch mehrfaches
Berühren des TIMER-Feldes einstellen
(1bis 24 – Aus). Wenn der Timer aktiv
ist, erscheint die Einstellung abwech-
selnd mit der Geschwindigkeitsstufe im
Display(21).
INTERVAL (20)
Intervallmodus aktivieren/deaktivieren
Wenn diese Funktion aktiv ist, schaltet
das Gerät in einen Intervallmodus. Dabei
arbeitet das Gerät jeweils 20 Sekunden
auf jeder Geschwindigkeitsstufe und
wechselt diese automatisch. Der Modus
beginnt bei der zum Zeitpunkt der Akti-
vierung eingestellter Geschwindigkeits-
stufe und zirkuliert anschließend abwärts
durch alle Stufen.
Beispiel: P1 > P3 > P2 > P1 > P3 > ...
SPEED (22)
Geschwindigkeitstufe einstellen
Der Lüfter des Gerätes verfügt über 3
Geschwindigkeitsstufen. Diese durch
mehrfaches Berühren des SPEED-Feldes
einstellen. Die Einstellung erscheint im
Display (P1 – P2 – P3).
SWING (23)
Rotation aktivieren/deaktivieren
Wenn diese Funktion aktiv ist, schwen-
ken die senkrechten Lamellen des
Lüftungsgitters (3) automatisch von einer
Seite zur anderen.
COOL (24)
Kühlung und Befeuchtung aktivieren/
deaktivieren
Beachten! Diese Funktion ist nur bei
gefülltem Wassertank (10) nutzbar.
Wenn diese Funktion aktiv ist, wird
das Wasser aus dem Wassertank in die
Wasserschale (17) gepumpt und läuft von
dort aus über die Wabenfilter (4) zurück
in den Wassertank. Dabei werden die
Wabenfilter befeuchtet und kühlen somit
den Luftstrom ab. Zusätzlich wird die
Luft befeuchtet.
Wenn das Wasser im Wassertank aufge-
braucht ist, ertönen Signaltöne und die
Kontrollleuchte COOL blinkt. Die Pumpe
schaltet sich automatisch ab.
POWER (25)
Gerät einschalten/ausschalten
Fernbedienung
Die Tasten der Fernbedienung (Bild D)
entsprechen den Funktionen der Bedien-
elemente des Bedienfeldes (2). Lediglich
die Funktion der COOL-Taste unter-
scheidet sich.
Während das COOL-Feld (24) auf dem
Bedienfeld sowohl für das Aktivieren
als auch Deaktivieren der Kühlung und
Befeuchtung bestimmt ist, lässt sich über
die COOL-Taste auf der Fernbedienung

diese Funktion nur aktivieren. Um die
Funktion zu deaktivieren und entspre-
chend auf reine Lüftung ohne Kühlung
umzustellen, muss die WIND-Taste auf
der Fernbedienung gedrückt werden.
WASSERTANK BEFÜLLEN
Beachten!
■Den Wassertank ausschließlich
mit kaltem Leitungswasser befüllen.
Keine anderen Flüssigkeiten ver-
wenden.
■Den Wassertank nicht überfüllen
(max. 10 l)! Elektrische Bestandteile
könnten beschädigt werden. Erhöhte
Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages.
1. Sicherstellen, dass das Gerät nicht an
das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.
2. Die Abdeckung (1) aufklappen.
3. Kaltes Leitungswasser vorsichtig in
die Wasserschale (17) füllen. Dabei
beachten, dass die Wasserschale
nicht überläuft.
4. Die Abdeckung zuklappen.
Das Wasser läuft aus der Wasserschale
in den Wassertank (10) unter den Wa-
benfiltern (4).
Alternatives Befüllen
Um den Wassertank zu befüllen, kann
alternativ das Gerät auch auseinanderge-
nommen werden.
1. Die beiden Verschlussschnallen (11)
des Wassertanks an den Seiten des
Gerätes lösen, indem sie von unten
aufgehebelt werden.
2. In die Griffmulden greifen, den
oberen Teil des Gerätes anheben und
vom Wassertank abnehmen. Hinweis!
Den abgenommenen Teil immer auf
einem feuchtigkeitsunempfindlichen
Untergrund ablegen.
3. Dem Wassertank befüllen (Bild C).
4. Den abgenommen Teil des Gerätes
auf den Wassertank aufsetzen.
Darauf achten, dass die Wasserstand-
anzeige(6) nach vorne zeigt.
5. Den Wassertank mit den Verschluss-
schnallen am Gehäuse (13) fixieren.
 Für ein noch besseres Kühlergeb-
nis können optional zusätzlich
Kühlakkus (nicht im Lieferumfang
enthalten) oder Eiswürfel in den
Wassertank gegeben werden.
BATTERIEN IN FERN-
BEDIENUNG EINLEGEN /
WECHSELN
Vor dem Einlegen der Batterien prüfen,
ob die Kontakte in der Fernbedienung
und an den Batterien sauber sind, und
ggf. reinigen.
1. Den Batteriefachdeckel in Pfeil-
richtung aufschieben und diesen
abnehmen.
2. Verbrauchte Batterien ggf. heraus-
nehmen und gegen zwei neue
Batterien (1,5 V; AAA) austauschen.
Dabei auf die korrekte Polarität (+/–)
achten.
3. Den Batteriefachdeckel auf das
Batteriefach setzen und gegen die
Pfeilrichtung zuschieben.
Bei nachlassender Leistung der Fern-
bedienung die Batterien ersetzen.

GERÄT POSITIONIEREN
UND ANSCHLIEßEN
Beachten!
■Das Gerät muss einen Freiraum von
mindestens 1 m nach oben und zu
allen Seiten haben und auf einem
trockenen, ebenen, festen und feuch-
tigkeitsunempfindlichen Untergrund
stehen.
■Das Gerät nur an eine vorschrifts-
mäßig installierte Steckdose, die mit
den technischen Daten des Gerätes
übereinstimmt, anschließen. Die
Steckdose muss auch nach dem An-
schließen gut zugänglich sein, damit
die Netzverbindung schnell getrennt
werden kann.
1. Das Gerät an dem gewünschten
Standort positionieren. Dabei das
Gerät vorsichtig schieben, damit
das Wasser im Wassertank (10) nicht
überschwappt.
2. Das Gerät gegen Wegrollen sichern,
indem die Rollenblockierung (8) an
den zwei vorderen Rollen (9) in die
Position ON gestellt wird.
3. Die Anschlussleitung vollständig
auseinanderwickeln und an eine gut
zugängliche Steckdose anschließen.
Ein Signalton erklingt. Alle Elemente
im Bedienfeld (2) leuchten auf
und erlöschen mit Ausnahme der
Betriebsleuchte POWER (25). Das
Gerät befindet sich im Standby-
Modus.
BENUTZUNG
Beachten!
■Das Gerät nicht ohne Wasser ver-
wenden. Die Pumpe könnte beschä-
digt werden.
■Das Gerät während des Betriebes
nicht bewegen. Bevor der Standort
des Gerätes geändert wird, das Gerät
ausschalten und vom Stromnetz
trennen.
■Das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt
betreiben, um im Falle von Störungen
sofort eingreifen zu können.
1. Den Wassertank (10) befüllen (siehe
Kapitel „Wassertank befüllen“).
2. Das Gerät an dem gewünschten
Standort positionieren und anschließen
(siehe Kapitel „Gerät positionieren und
anschließen“).
3. Das POWER-Feld (25) berühren, um
das Gerät einzuschalten. Das Gerät
beginnt auf der Geschwindigkeits-
stufe 1 zu arbeiten. Die Ionisierung
ION (18) und die Kühl- sowie Be-
feuchtungsfunktion COOL (24) sind
aktiviert.
4. Die Einstellungen des Gerätes auf die
individuellen Bedürfnisse anpassen
(siehe Kapitel „Funktionsübersicht
der Bedienelemente“).
 Der Luftstrom kann nach oben
bzw. unten gestellt werden.
Hierfür einen der seitlichen
Hebel(15) am Lüftungsgitter (3)
manuell nach oben bzw. nach
unten stellen. Dadurch werden
die waagerechten Lamellen des
Lüftungsgitters verstellt.
5. Soll das Gerät nicht mehr verwendet
werden, das Gerät über das POWER-
Feld ausschalten und den Netz-
stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.

REINIGUNG UND
AUFBEWAHRUNG
Beachten!
■Es darf keine Flüssigkeit in das Gerät
eindringen (mit Ausnahme der Was-
serschale und des Wassertanks). Das
Gerät niemals in Wasser tauchen!
■Zum Reinigen keine scharfen oder
scheuernden Reinigungsmittel oder
Reinigungspads verwenden. Diese
können die Oberflächen beschädigen.
• Sicherstellen, dass das Gerät nicht an
das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.
• Das Gerät mit einem weichen,
feuchten Tuch abwischen. Stärkere
Verschmutzungen mit ein wenig mil-
dem Reinigungsmittel entfernen.
• Das Gerät funktionsbereit halten
und die Wabenfilter (4) nach Bedarf
reinigen.
• Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch bzw. vor
dem Verstauen des Gerätes eventuell
vorhandenes Restwasser unbedingt
aus dem Wassertank (10) entfernen.
• Das Gerät bei Nichtgebrauch vor
Staub geschützt an einem sauberen,
trockenen, für Kinder und Tiere unzu-
gänglichen Ort aufbewahren.
Wabenfilter reinigen
Beachten!
■Beim Abspülen des Wabenfilters darf
der Wasserdruck nicht zu groß bzw.
der Wasserstrahl nicht zu stark sein.
Dies könnte den Wabenfilter beschä-
digen.
■Keine säurehaltigen oder basischen
Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
1. Die Schrauben an den Wabenfilter-Ab-
deckungen (5) lösen und abnehmen.
2. Eine Wabenfilter-Abdeckung an
beiden Seiten am oberen Rand
greifen, mit den Daumen gegen das
Gehäuse(13) drücken und dadurch
die Wabenfilter-Abdeckung vom
Gehäuse lösen. Dazu ist etwas Kraft
notwendig.
3. Die Wabenfilter-Abdeckung nach
schräg oben aus dem Gehäuse her-
ausnehmen.
4. Den Wabenfilter (4) oben zu sich kip-
pen und nach schräg oben aus dem
Gerät herausnehmen (Bild E).
5. Die Schritte 2bis 4für die restlichen
drei Wabenfilter wiederholen.
6. Die Wabenfilter unter fließendem
Wasser abspülen.
7. Die Wabenfilter vollständig trocknen
lassen.
8. Die Wabenfilter in das Gerät einsetzen.
9. Die Wabenfilter-Abdeckungen in das
Gehäuse setzen und an den oberen
Kanten an das Gehäuse drücken.
Dabei darauf achten, dass die unteren
Rastnasen der Wabenfilter-Abdeckung
in den entsprechenden Aussparungen
des Gehäuses sitzen.
10. Die Wabenfilter-Abdeckungen mit
den Schrauben fixieren.
Wassertank leeren
Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten den Wasser-
tank (10) zu leeren:
Abflussstopfen
Den Abflussstopfen (7) auf der Unter-
seite des Wassertanks herausziehen und
das Wasser ablaufen lassen.
Demontage
Den Wassertank vom Gehäuse (13) lösen
(siehe Kapitel „Wassertank befüllen“ –
„Alternatives Befüllen“) und das Rest-
wasser ausgießen.

WARTUNG
Das Gerät muss arbeitsbereit gehalten
werden. Regelmäßig (alle 6 Monate) bzw.
bei Bedarf die Wabenfilter (4) wechseln.
 Ersatzteile können über folgende
Website nachgekauft werden:

Zum Wechseln der Wabenfilter die
Anweisungen im Kapitel „Reinigung und
Aufbewahrung“ – „Wabenfilter reinigen“
befolgen.
PROBLEMBEHEBUNG
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß
funktionieren, überprüfen, ob ein Prob-
lem selbst behoben werden kann. Lässt
sich mit den nachfolgenden Schritten
das Problem nicht lösen, den Kundenser-
vice kontaktieren.
Nicht versuchen, ein elektrisches
Gerät selbst zu reparieren!
Das Gerät funktioniert nicht.
Der Netzstecker steckt nicht richtig in
der Steckdose.
►Den Sitz des Netzsteckers korrigieren.
Die Steckdose ist defekt.
►Eine andere Steckdose ausprobieren.
Das Gerät wurde nicht über das POWER-
Feld (25) eingeschaltet.
►Das POWER-Feld berühren.
Der Wassertank (10) ist leer. In diesem
Fall funktioniert die Pumpe nicht.
►Den Wassertank befüllen.
Die Sicherung im Sicherungskasten
wird ausgelöst.
Zu viele Geräte am selben Stromkreis
angeschlossen.
►Anzahl der Geräte im Stromkreis
reduzieren.
Die Luft ist nicht kalt.
Es befindet sich zu wenig Wasser im
Wassertank (10).
►Den Wassertank befüllen.
Das Wasser in Wassertank (10) ist zu
warm.
►Den Wassertank leeren und mit
frischem, kühlen Wasser auffüllen.

ionising air indoors.
■The device is suitable for a surface
area of no more than 25 m2. It is not
a substitute for an air-conditioning
system.

instructions carefully and keep them for future reference and other users. They form an
integral part of the device. The manufacturer and importer do not accept any liability if
the information in these operating instructions is not complied with.

SAFETY NOTICES
■This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a
lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or
have received instruction on how to use the device safely and
have understood the dangers resulting from failure to comply
with the relevant safety precautions.
■Children must not play with the device.
■Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children, unless they are supervised.
■The device is not intended to be operated with an external
timer or a separate remote control system.
■The device must always be disconnected from the mains
power when it is not being supervised, when filling or emp-
tying the water tank, and before cleaning and changing the
honeycomb filters.
■Do not make any modifications to the device. If the device,
the mains adapter or the mains cable are damaged, these
parts must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service
department or a similarly qualified person (e.g. specialist
workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.
DANGER – Danger of Electric
Shock
■Use and store the device only in
closed rooms.
■Do not use the device in rooms with
high humidity.
■Never immerse the device and the
connecting cable in water or other
liquids and ensure that these com-
ponents cannot fall into water or
become wet.
■If the device does fall into water or
tip over once it has been filled with
water, switch off the power supply
immediately. Do not attempt to pull it
out of the water while it is connected
to the mains power! Have the device
checked by a specialist workshop be-
fore putting it back into operation.
■Do not touch the device and the con-
necting cable with wet hands when
these components are connected to
the mains power.

WARNING – Danger of Fire
■Do not use the device in the vicinity of
highly flammable materials (curtains,
textiles, etc.). Do not place any com-
bustible materials (e.g. cardboard,
paper, plastic) on the device.
■Do not insert anything into the open-
ings of the device and make sure that
they do not become clogged. The
device must not be used with blocked
openings.
WARNING – Danger of Injury
■Keep children and animals away from
plastic bags and films. There is a dan-
ger of suffocation.
■Do not leave small children and ani-
mals unsupervised with the device.
■Make sure that the connecting cable
does not present a trip hazard. There
is a danger of falling over it.
■Make sure that the connecting cable
is always kept out of the reach of
small children and animals. There is a
danger of strangulation.
■Batteries can be deadly if swallowed.
Batteries and the remote control
should be kept out of the reach of
children and animals. If a battery
is swallowed, immediate medical
attention must be sought. There is a
danger of burns from battery acid.
■If a battery leaks, avoid physical con-
tact with the battery acid, and wear
protective gloves if necessary. If you
touch battery acid, rinse the affected
areas with abundant clear water
straight away and seek medical assis-
tance immediately. There is a danger
of burns from battery acid.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to
Material and Property
■Lay the connecting cable in such a
way that it is not squashed or bent
and does not come into contact with
hot surfaces (also applies to the hot
surfaces of the device!).
■Switch off the device and pull the
mains plug out of the plug socket if
an error occurs during operation, or
before a thunderstorm.
■Always switch the device off first
before the mains plug is pulled out
of the plug socket. When you pull it
out of the plug socket, always pull on
the mains plug and never the mains
cable!
■Never pull or carry the device by the
connecting cable.
■Do not tip the device or do some-
thing similar when there is water in
the water tank or the water tray.
■Protect the device from other heat
sources, naked flames, sub-zero tem-
peratures, persistent moisture, wet
conditions and impacts.
■Do not lay or place any heavy objects
on the device.
■Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to
Material and Property from Batteries
■Use only the battery type specified in
the technical data.
■Take batteries out of the remote con-
trol when they are dead or if you will
not be using the remote control for
a prolonged period. This will prevent
any damage from leaks.

■Do not use the remote control if a
battery has leaked. Remove dead bat-
teries from the battery compartment
immediately.
■Always replace all batteries together.
Do not use batteries of different types
or brands, or batteries with different
capacities.
FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW
OF THE OPERATING
ELEMENTS
The control lamps above the respective
control fields indicate which functions
have been activated.
Control Panel
ION (18)
Activate / deactivate air cleaning
If this function is active, negatively
charged ions which bind dirt particles
from the air are released.
TIMER (19)
Activate / set / deactivate timer
The device has a 24-hour timer. Youcan
adjust this by repeatedly touching the
TIMER field (1to 24 – Off). When the
timer is active, the setting appears
alternately with the speed level on the
display(21).
INTERVAL (20)
Activate / deactivate interval mode
When this function is active, the device
switches to an interval mode. This is
where the device operates on each speed
level for 20 seconds and then switches it
automatically. The mode starts with the
speed level which is set at the time of
activation and then circulates downwards
through all levels.
Example: P1 > P3 > P2 > P1 > P3 > ...
SPEED (22)
Set the speed level
The fan of the device has 3 speed levels.
You can set them by repeatedly touching
the SPEED field. The setting appears on
the display (P1 – P2 – P3).
SWING (23)
Activate / deactivate rotation
When this function is active, the vertical
slats of the ventilation grille (3) automati-
cally swing from one side to the other.
COOL (24)
Activate / deactivate cooling and humid-
ification
Please Note! This function can only be
used with a filled water tank (10).
When this function is active, the water
is pumped from the water tank into the
water tray (17) and from there it runs
out over the honeycomb filters (4) back
into the water tank. In the process, the
honeycomb filters are moistened and
thus cool the air flow. In addition, the air
is humidified.
Once the water in the water tank has
been used up, you will hear beeps
and the COOL control lamp flashes.
Thepump switches off automatically.

Remote Control
The buttons on the remote control
(Picture D) correspond to the functions
of the operating elements on the control
panel(2). Only the function of the COOL
button is different.
Whereas the COOL field (24) on the
control panel is intended both for acti-
vating and deactivating the cooling and
humidification, this function can only be
activated using the COOL button on the
remote control. To deactivate the function
and accordingly switch to pure ventilation
without cooling, the WIND button on the
remote control must be pressed.
FILLING THE WATER TANK
Please Note!
■Only ever fill the water tank with
cold tap water. Do not use any other
liquids.
■Do not overfill the water tank (max.
10 l)! Electrical components could be
damaged. Increased risk of an electric
shock.
1. Make sure that the device is not con-
nected to the mains power.
2. Flip open the cover (1).
3. Carefully pour cold tap water into the
water tray (17). When you do this,
make sure that the water tray does
not overflow.
4. Flip the cover shut.
The water runs out of the water tray into
the water tank (10) below the honeycomb
filters (4).
Alternative Filling
To fill the water tank, the device may
alternatively also be taken apart.
1. Release the two closure clasps (11) of
the water tank on the sides of the de-
vice by levering them up from below.
2. Reach into the recessed grips, lift up
the top part of the device and detach
it from the water tank. Please note!
Always place the detached part down
on a moisture-resistant surface.
3. Fill the water tank (Picture C).
4. Place the detached part of the device
on the water tank. Make sure that
the water level indicator(6) is facing
forwards.
5. Fix the water tank with the closure
clasps on the housing (13).
 For an even better cooling result,
ice packs (not supplied with the
device) or ice cubes can option-
ally also be placed in the water
tank.
INSERTING / CHANGING
BATTERIES IN THE
REMOTE CONTROL
Before inserting the batteries, check
whether the contacts in the remote
control and on the batteries are clean,
and clean them if necessary.
1. Slide open the battery compartment
cover in the direction of the arrow and
take it off.
2. Take out used batteries if necessary
and replace them with two new bat-
teries (1.5 V; AAA). Pay attention to
the correct polarity (+/–).
3. Place the battery compartment cover
on the battery compartment and slide
it counter to the direction of the arrow
to shut it.
Replace the batteries if the power of the
remote control starts to wane.

POSITIONING AND
CONNECTiNG THE DEVICE
Please Note!
■The device must have clearance of at
least 1 m above it and to all sides and
be placed on a dry, even, solid and
moisture-resistant surface.
■Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed and
matches the technical data of the
device. The plug socket must also be
readily accessible after connection so
that the connection to the mains can
quickly be isolated.
1. Position the device at the location
you want. When you do this, push the
device carefully so that the water in
the water tank (10) does not spill out.
2. Secure the device to stop it rolling
away by moving the castor lock (8)
on the two front castors (9) to the ON
position.
3. Fully unwind the connecting cable
and connect it to an easily accessible
plug socket. You will hear a beep. All
elements on the control panel (2) will
light up and go out with the exception
of the operating lamp POWER (25).
The device is in standby mode.
USE
Please Note!
■Do not use the device without water.
The pump could be damaged.
■Do not move the device during
operation. Before the location of the
device is changed, switch off the de-
vice and disconnect it from the mains
power.
■Do not operate the device unsuper-
vised so that you can intervene imme-
diately if there are any faults.
1. Fill the water tank (10) (see the “Filling
the Water Tank” chapter).
2. Position the device at the location you
want and connect it (see the “Posi-
tioning and Connecting the Device”
chapter).
3. Touch the POWER field (25) to switch
on the device. The device starts to
operate on speed level 1. The ioni-
sation ION (18) and the cooling and
humidifying function COOL (24) are
activated.
4. Adjust the settings of the device to
suit your individual needs (see the
“Functional Overview of the Operat-
ing Elements” chapter).
 The air flow can be increased
or decreased. To do this, move
one of the side levers(15) on
the ventilation grille (3) manually
up or down. This will adjust the
horizontal slats of the ventilation
grille.
5. If the device is no longer going to
be used, switch off the device via the
POWER field and pull the mains plug
out of the plug socket.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■No liquid must get into the device
(with the exception of the water tray
and the water tank). Never immerse
the device in water!
■Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. These may damage
the surfaces.
• Make sure that the device is not con-
nected to the mains power.
• Wipe down the device with a soft,
damp cloth. Remove more stubborn
dirt with a little mild detergent.
• Keep the device operational and
clean the honeycomb filters (4) if
necessary.
• If the device is not going to be used
for a prolonged period and before
storing it away, it is essential to
remove any remaining water from the
water tank (10).
• Store the device in a clean, dry place
so that it is protected and is out of the
reach of children and animals when it
is not in use.
Cleaning the Honeycomb Filters
Please Note!
■When rinsing the honeycomb filter,
the water pressure must not be too
great and the jet of water must not
be too strong. This could damage the
honeycomb filter.
■Do not use any acidic or alkaline
cleaning agents.
1. Undo the screws on the honeycomb
filter covers (5) and take them off.
2. Grab a honeycomb filter cover on
both sides at the top edge, press
against the housing(13) with your
thumbs and thus release the honey-
comb filter cover from the housing.
You need to apply a little force to do
this.
3. Lift the honeycomb filter cover up out
of the housing at an angle.
4. Tilt the honeycomb filter (4) towards
you at the top and lift it up out of the
device at an angle (Picture E).
5. Repeat steps 2to 4for the remaining
three honeycomb filters.
6. Rinse the honeycomb filters under
running water.
7. Allow the honeycomb filters to dry
completely.
8. Insert the honeycomb filters into the
device.
9. Place the honeycomb filter covers in
the housing and press them against
the housing by their top edges.
When you do this, make sure that
the locking lugs at the bottom of the
honeycomb filter cover fit in the corre-
sponding recesses in the housing.
10. Fix the honeycomb filter covers in
place with the screws.
Emptying the Water Tank
There are two possible ways to empty the
water tank (10):
Drain Plug
Pull out the drain plug (7) on the bottom
of the water tank and allow the water to
drain away.
Dismantling
Detach the water tank from the hous-
ing(13) (see the “Filling the Water Tank”
chapter – “Alternative Filling”) and pour
away the rest of the water.

MAINTENANCE
The device must be kept operational.
Replace the honeycomb filters (4) regularly
(every 6 months) or when required.
 More replacement parts can
be purchased via the following

To replace the honeycomb filters, follow
the instructions in the “Cleaning and
Storage” chapter – “Cleaning the Honey-
comb Filters”.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.
►Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
►Try another plug socket.
The device has not been switched on via
the POWER field (25).
►Touch the POWER field.
The water tank (10) is empty. In this case,
the pump is not working.
►Fill the water tank.
The fuse in the fuse box is triggered.
Too many devices connected to the same
circuit.
►Reduce the number of devices in the
circuit.
The air is not cold.
There is not enough water in the water
tank (10).
►Fill the water tank.
The water in the water tank (10) is too
warm.
►Empty the water tank and top it up
with fresh, cool water.
The honeycomb filters (4) are dirty.
►Clean the honeycomb filters.
The honeycomb filters (4) are worn.
►Replace the honeycomb filters.
The remote control does not work.
The batteries are empty.
►Replace the batteries.
There are obstacles between the remote
control and the sensor in the device.
►Remove possible obstacles or aim the
remote control at the sensor in the
device from a different position.
The distance between the remote control
and the device is too great.
►Reduce the distance.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of the packaging material
in an environmentally friendly man-
ner so that it can be recycled.
Batteries should be removed before
disposing of the remote control and
disposed of separately from it at
suitable collection points.
This device is governed by the
European Directive 2012/19/EU

equipment (WEEE). Do not
dispose of this device as normal
domestic waste, but rather in an
