doorastheunitmaytipforward.
O Openthedoorandremoveaccessorypackagefromsilverwarebasket.
Removeanyextrapackingmaterialfromoutsideandinsidethedishwasher.Thiswouldincludepluginwatervalveinlet.
O Loosenfrontlegboltswitha crescentwrench.Adjustrearlegboltsinsamemanner.

ownintheshadedportionofthedrawing.Preferreddrainoutletisshownintheupperportionofthecabinetindrawingbelow.
Careshouldbetakentorouteplumbingawayfromthemotorandblower(ifequipped).DONOTmakeconnectionsuntildishwasher
is inposition.Care shouldbe takento make sure cabinetholes forpowercordand hoses have no sharp edges.

Dishwasherdrainmusthavea32"(81.2)loop,Drainhosemaybeclippedto eithersideofthe dishwasher(seediagramA).It is prefer
that the drainhoseberoutedhighenoughto providethe 32"loop.Ifa loopcannotbeputinthe installation, an airgap (notindud
maybeused.
IMPORTANT:Routingofthedrainhoseismostimportanttoinsuresatisfactoryoperation.Itis notrecommend
DiagramA to extenddrainlinebeyond7'(2.1m).However,shouldthis benecessary,it mustalways be attachedto a li
oflargerinsidediameter.Anaccessorydrainhoseextensionkit(#904204)is availablethroughyourauthoriz
dealer.DONOTroutedrainhoseacrossthe topof the tub,allbendsmustbegradualto preventkinkingor
collapsingof thehose.
IMPORTANT:Drainhosemay changepositionevenafter installation.Toinsureproperoperation,secureht
toeithersideof cabinetwall, or to tubwith hoseclip(provided)toassurea 32"loop.Makecertain there
nokinks.
IMPORTANT:Donot attachthe drainhoseto any connectionsmallerthan 1/2"I.D.

A 5/8"(1.6cm)I.D.(InsideDiameter)x 7ft. (2.1in)corrugateddrainhoseis positioned
onsideofdishwashertub.
Drainhoseconnectioncan belocatedoneithersideofcompartment.Elevatedrainhose
toaheightof at least 32"(81cm) abovethe floor.If drainconnectionis tobe made
belowthe floor,hoseshouldbeleftintheloopedposition.It maybenecessarytoextend [ ,=[_[
drainhosefor connection.DONOTreducethe drainhosetoless than 1/2"(1.3cm)I.D.

Makepilotholesinthe undersideofcounteranddrivewoodscrews,providedin the
accessorypackage,throughholesinthe dishwashermountingbracket.Ifpart of
the bracketextendsbeyondthe cabinet front,they may be trimmedwith wire
cutters, providedsufficient material is left to supportdishwasher mounting.
Note: Dishwasher must be secured properlyto
countertoptoavoidtippingwhenthedoorisopenand
topreventthe tubfromtwisting.
Itmay benecessary toprovidean additional
anchoringsourceformountingscrews. Wood
stripsacrossthe topof dishwasheropeningcan be
usedfor solidsurfaceorgranitetypecounterstosecurethedishwasher.
