2 UsingOpenSourceSoftware
2.1 General Information
Ourproductscontain,amongst others, so-called open-source software that is provided by third
partiesandhasbeenpublishedforfreepublicuse.Theopen-sourcesoftwareissubjecttospecial
open-sourcesoftwarelicensesandthecopyrightofthirdparties.Basically,eachcustomercanuse
theopen-sourcesoft-warefreelyincompliancewiththelicensingtermsoftherespectiveproducers.
Therightsofthecustomertousetheopen-sourcesoftwarebeyondthepurposeofourproductsare
regulatedindetailbytherespectiveconcernedopen-sourcesoftwarelicenses.Thecustomeruse
theopen-sourcesoftwarefreely,asprovidedintherespectiveeectivelicense,beyondthepur-
posethattheopen-sourcesoftwaregetsinourproducts.Incasethereisacontradictionbetween
thelicensingtermsforoneofourproductsandtherespectiveopen-sourcesoftwarelicense,the
respectiverelevantopen-sourcesoftwarelicensetakespriorityoverourlicensingterms,asfaras
therespectiveopen-sourcesoftwareisconcernedbythis.

As far as programs contained in our products are subject to the GNU General Public License
(GPL), GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), the Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD),
theMassachusettsInstituteofTechnology(MIT)oranotheropen-sourcesoftwarelicense,which
regulatesthatthesourcecodemustbemadeavailable,andifthissoftwareisnotalreadydelivered
insourcecodeonadatacarrierwithourproduct,wewillsendyouthisatanytimeuponrequest.

productareusedbythecustomerinamannerthatdoesnotcom-plyanymorewiththepurpose
ofthecontract,whichisthebasisoftheacquisitionofourproduct.Thisconcernsinparticularany
useoftheopen-sourcesoftwareprogramsoutsideofourproduct.Thewarrantyandliabilityregula-
tionsthatarepro-videdbytherespectiveeectiveopen-sourcesoftwarelicensefortherespective

ble to select “Always“ in the selection
fi eld “Connect to Server at“. Only in this
setting, the device automatically tries to
establish a connection to the portal.

Make sure that the WAN IP and the
LAN IP are in diff erent address ranges.
•Modem(deviceswithmodem-analog,
2G,3G,4G)
Clicktheediticon toeditthesettingsoftherespectivesub-menus.
