Mounting instructions of control desk for the T18SZ control
Our recommendation:
Use thread locking liquid to avoid loosening of the screws!
1. Fix the base plate to the two stands by the M4x12 screws. The pre-assembled sleeves should
each point to the outside and the bores with the M4 threads to the front (Ill. 1).
2. Remove the screws at the back of the control. Now hook in the base plate to the control.
Mount the carry handle of the control into the base plate and fix the base plate by means of
the supplied M2,5x30 screws. The control should sit properly without moving. Before fixing
make sure that the base plate is aligned centric to the control (same distance on the left and
the right side –Ill. 2).
3. Now you can screw the distance support to the stands by means of the M4x8 screws (Ill.3).
The remaining screws should only be tightened slightly for the moment, they will get
properly fixed when the hand supports and the control have been adjusted to each other
correctly.
4. Screw the CFK hand supports to the aluminium holders with the M3x8 screws (Ill.4).
5. Hook in the hand supports (aluminium holders) into the aluminium sleeves.
6. The distance between the CFK hand supports and the distance support allows adjustment of
the hand supports. The smaller the distance, the lower the looseness (Ill. 5 and 6).
7. When all screws are fixed and the hand supports can get hooked in without problem, then
assemble the holders.
8. Mount the holders in such a way that the CFK bearing plates point to each other. Screw the
holders only to such an extent that you still can move them easily. Now screw together the
carry handle with the bearing plates by using the supplied screws M4x10 (Ill. 7 and 8).
Then you can fix the holders tightly to the control.
