Never attempt to operate blender without fully assembled blender blade assembly and
jar. Avoid contact with any moving parts. Blender is designed to not operate if blender
blade assembly and jar are not securely in place.
Blades are sharp and should be handled carefully.
To protect against risk of electrical shock and damage to product, do not submerge
motor base or run water or any liquid directly over motor base. Cleanmotor base with
lightly damp cloth.
Do not disassemble motor base.
Only use blender with components provided by Modern Comfort made for use with
this model.
Blender may beused indoors oroutdoors, but care mustbe taken to avoid exposure
of motor base to rain, water, etc.

Do not operate blender without liquid. Do not operate blender withonly dry food or flour.
Do not operate blender with blender jar empty.
12. Do not place large chunks of ice into blender, use standard size ice cubes.
13. Do not operate blender if motor base is damaged or any internal parts are exposed.
14. When charging, do notuse an extension cord.Plug charger directly into a standard
US 110/120V electrical outlet. Note charger is designed to work with voltages up to 240V.
15. Do not overcharge battery for extended period of time.
16. Blender contains lithium ion battery and is designed with overheat and overload
protections as safety features.
17. Only charge blenderwith the provided charger to avoid damageto battery. Do not use
charger for other products.
18. Product contains lithium batteries. Do not incinerate; dispose of per applicable
regulations if damaged.
19. Do notplace blender in bag fully assembled. Place motor base in bag without blender
blade/jar assembly engaged into motor base. This is to prevent accidental operation
of blender while storing or transporting.
20. For extended storageduring periods of non-use, it is required that blender be charged
every two months to maximize battery life.
21. Save these instructions.

Instructions for use
First time use
Blender is delivered only partially charged and needs to becharged fully before use. Charge
for up to three hours until charging status light (power button) is green while charging.
Clean blender bladeassembly (be careful of sharp blades),jar and travel lid with soap and
water prior to first use.
Typical use
Place liquid into jar at least to minimum fill line. Add any additional ingredient items.
Whenblending ice, use standard size refrigerator ice cubes or bagged ice. Bagged ice
should be broken down to individual cubes; donot place large chunks of ice injar. Blender
can handle jar being approximately half filled with ice.
Placeblade assembly on top of jar, turn blade assembly clockwise until firmly closed.
Whenclosed, turn over assembled jar and insert into motor base. Align jar engagement
tab with motor base engagement slot, push down into slot and turn clockwise into locked
position. Note: if bottom of blade assembly will not sit down into slot easily, turn
With blender on sturdy stable surface, press and hold power button. Releasepower button
to shut off blender.
Typical recipes will require pulsing. Hold power button on for approximately 5 seconds,
then release power button. Repeat pulsing in this manner until desired consistency.
When blendingis complete, turn jar counter clockwise and then liſtjar up away from motor
base when engagement tab aligns with engagement slot.
Turn jar over and remove blender blade assembly. Replace with travel lid, or pour directly
into glass and enjoy.
Battery Charging
CHARGING – plug chargerinto electrical receptacle and charger port. Battery charging
takes 3.5 hours. Note blender will not work while charging, this is a built in safety feature
related to the lithium battery.

Cleaning
Blade and jar assembly and travel lid canbecleaned with dish soap and water. Do not
submerge blade assembly under water, as bearings may be impacted. Rinse and allow
to dry thoroughly. Be careful with blades as they are sharp.
Jar, travel lid and blade cover are dishwasher safe. Blade assembly isnot dishwashersafe.
Motor base should not be submerged or placed under running water, this will damage the
motor and battery components. Motor base can be cleaned with damp cloth.
Travel and Storage
Once all parts are completely dry, blender may be stored in bag. It is importantall parts
are completely dry.
When using bag, blenderjar should not be engaged into motorbaseas accidental operation
may occur. Place motor base in bag without jar assembly engaged. Ensure motor base is
not stored such that power button may be pressed.
Blenderis powered by a high quality, ETL certified lithium battery. As such blender should
not be stored for long periods without being charged as this may reduce battery life and
performance. Do not store for longer than 2 months without charging battery.
Warranty
All components of the blender are guaranteed for a period of 2 years from purchase
against manufacturing defects.
Troubleshooting
Possible reason blender will not operate when power button is pressed:
· Battery is not charged. Charge blender until power button turns green.
· Engagement tab is not locked into engagement slot. Follow instruction for proper jar
placement into motor base. This is a safety feature
· Thermal overload – the battery and motorcomponents have built in overload protection.
If overload protection is activated, let blender rest (not plugged into charger) for 30
minutes. Then plug into charger to charge prior tousing again. This is a safety feature.
· Overheating – similar to other lithium battery powered devices, if the blender becomes
very hot due to ambient temperatures, extended exposure tohotsunlight, and/or
extensive use, overheat protection may be activated and blender will not work. Move
blender to lower temperature area and allow to cool for 30 minutes.
· Blender is plugged into charger – as another safety feature for the high powered
lithium battery contained in this product, the blender will not work while it is
connected to the charger.
Assembled blender jar engagementtab will not sit down into motor base engagement
slot– teeth on bottom of blade assembly are mis-alignedwith groove on motor base.
Simply turn gear/teeth on bottom of bladeassembly and try again.
