DESCRIPTION
TheMl3 MaximumPerformanceIndicatorisessentiallyanoscilloscope
usinga threeinchcathode-raytube.Adequatebrightnessisassured
witha 1350voltacceleratingvoltage.A sharperwelldefinedtraceis
providedbyusingseparatefocusandastigmatismcontrols.
Twoidenticaldirectcoupledpush-pullamplifiersareusedinthehori-

amplifiersareheldtowithina fewdegrees.
Thehighvoltagepowersupplyusesa seleniumrectifier.Thelowvolt-
agesuppliesuseseleniumrectifiers,twogasfilledrectangulartubes
andanelectronicvoltageregulator.Theoperatingvoltagesfrom
thesesuppliesarecarefullyregulatedovera widerangeofpower
linevariations.Thisdesignfeatureassuresa steadyindicatortrace
despitechanginglinevoltage.
