and may hear a voice prompt (depending on setup)
confirming activation of an SOS alert.
The warning message will sound for a few seconds and
allow you to cancel the SOS alert message if you have
accidentally activated the SOS. If the SOS is not
cancelled, an SOS alert will be imediately sent to the
Monitoring Centre.
The Monitoring Centre will call the device. The device
will auto answer. This will allow the Monitoring Centre
to communicate with you hands free, to verify the type
of emergency and arrange the appropriate response.

Fall down alarm
09
The device can automatically detect a fall.
When this occurs the device will give a warning
message to the user and allow the user to cancel
the alert with a quick press on the SOS button. After
the warning period (15-20 secs) and if the alert has
not been cancelled, the device will automatically
send an alarm to the Monitoring Centre.
-
During normal daily activities (like sitting back on a
chair), the device may detect a fall incorrectly. This
situation may cause a false alarm. However, the user is
warned of the pending alarm and can manually
cancel the fall alert with a short press of the SOS button
during the warning period.
Important:
Because there is still a chance that a fall may not be
detected if a fall does occur, we strongly recommend
the user presses the SOS button, when there is an
emergency situation.
