Medi Alarm Pro 4G - Quick Start Guide
Programming Your Medi Alarm
Your device is sent already programmed, unless we were missing that information.
Your emergency contacts can call you on your Medi Alarm
•By default, only your emergency contacts can call your Medi
Alarm. This can be changed to allow calls from any number.
See programming instructions for more details.
Test every 1 to 3 months
•It is important to ensure you remain
familiar with how to use the device and
to ensure it is ON and working.
You can have 000 as an emergency contact but it is not
recommended
•If a false alarm happens, and the wearer does not speak to
000 to say everything is okay, there is a chance they will send
police or ambulance when it was not required.
•If you would still like to have 000 as an emergency contact,
please avoid having 000 first. It is better if other Contacts can
answer the call first to find out what is going on, and then call
000 on the wearer’s behalf.
Can be used in the shower, but do not submerge under water.
•Soapy water can get inside the device and void the warranty.
•Place the Medi Alarm into a zip-lock bag or place it on an easily
accessible hook or ledge.
14 Day Money Back Guarantee / Warranty / T&Cs
•The Medi Alarm Pro 4G has a 14-day return policy from date of
purchase. Please call us within the first 14 days if you would like to
return for a full refund.
•We provide lifetime customer support and a 1-year warranty.

Do not program if you are using Medi Alarm 24/7 monitoring.
•Full programming instructions can be found in the User Guide.
•Program the Medi Alarm by sending SMS text commands from a mobile phone
to the Medi Alarm’s phone number. Device must be switched ON.
•You will need to make yourself A1 temporarily to program the device.
•Change A1 back to your preferred emergency contact after programming.
•Ask your emergency contacts to save your Medi Alarm’s phone number in their
phones as “Dad’s Medi Alarm” for example.
A1,0400123123,Jim
A2,0400123123,Jane etc.
Emergency Contacts: Program any number, one by one using
A1 to A8 commands. 000 is not recommended, see below.
Status: Shows a list of your emergency contacts as A1 to A8
and current fall detection sensitivity as FD:60
Fall Detection Sensitivity: Lower than 060 may not detect a
real fall, higher than 075 may cause a lot of false alarms.
Medi Alarm’s Name: Changes the name shown on the SMS
text message sent during an SOS or Fall Detection call out.
Q2,1 allows calls to the Medi Alarm from any number.
Q2,0 only allows calls from programmed emergency contacts.
