Frequently Asked Questions

1) Why is the back heating not working after I turn it on?
It does not work immediately. The back infrared heating system
takes 3 minutes to warm up before you will feel any kind of warm
sensation.
2) What does the width button do?
This button allows you to adjust the massage hands closer to the
center of your back or further out during "Tapping" or "Shiatsu"
massage functions. There are 5 levels to choose from.
3) Why are there 2 speakers on each side of the upper arm?
Only 1 of those is a speaker on each side. The other is where the
negative oxygen ions are emitted.
4) How do I adjust the speed of the rollers on my feet?
You can adjust the speed by pressing the Sole Roller button. There
are 3 different speed levels to choose from.
5) Can I make my massages longer?
Yes, you can. By pressing the button that looks like a clock, this is
the time button. Each time it is pressed it will add 5 more minutes to your
massage for up to 40 minutes.
6) How do I make my back massage lighter?
The back massage intensity can be adjusted by pressing the
Upper-Body Intensity buttons. Press the down arrow to make the
massage lighter. With 5 levels, this allows you to find the perfect back
massage for your needs.
7) The back massagers are too fast so how can I change this?
Press the Speed button on the right side of the remote just below the
Upper-Body Intensity button. There are 5 different speeds available so
press it a couple times to find the one that suits you the best.
8) The Massage Rollers are too high on my neck; how do I make
them move down?
In the circle group of buttons just below the screen, the top up and
down arrows are labeled “Shoulder Position.” By pressing the down
arrow, you make the rollers move further down on your neck.
9) Can I turn off the arms if I only want a back massage?
Yes, you can. Press the Arm Air Pressure button 3 times to turn it off;
it should disappear on your remote screen.

10) How can I save a massage?
If you have adjusted the settings to your desire, then press the
power on/off button. The screen will flash an "SA & MEM" within 10
seconds, then choose either the M1 or M2 button on the bottom of the
remote. It will make a sound and store your massage settings. So the
next time you get in the chair, turn on the power and whichever button
you saved it under, press that one and it will automatically go back to
that same massage.
11) What does the 3D button do?
This button moves the massage hands further out of the chair for a
deeper more humanistic massage. The speed and the intensity of this
function are adjustable, so play around with it some until it fits your
needs.
12) How can I make the footrest come up without the backrest
going back more?
In the buttons grouped in the circle below the screen, the middle
round one is the Zero-Gravity button. The one just to the upper left of it
will make your footrest come up without moving the backrest. You will
have to press and hold this button until it is where you need it and then
release the button to stop the movement.
13) Can I move the rollers during my Back Stretch Massage?
Yes, you can. On the second panel of buttons, in the 3rd row of
buttons just below the hands buttons, you will see an up arrow, a back
outline button, and a down arrow button. In the fixed or partial back
stretch position, you can move the rollers either up or down.
14) Can I turn the feet rollers off?
Yes, you can. By pressing the Sole Roller button 3 times, it will turn
off.
15) How do I turn on the Zero-Gravity Mode?
The button for this function is in the very middle of the round set of
buttons just below the screen. By pressing the middle button that looks
like a squiggle line, your chair will recline back into Zero-Gravity Mode.
16) How do I make the Arm Massage lighter?
On the bottom right-hand side of the remote, the very last blue
button states “Arm Air Pressure” below it. By pressing this button, you
can adjust the intensity of your arm massage. There are 3 levels of
intensity to choose from.

17) How do I get the Shiatsu massage?
On the second panel, you will see buttons with hands on them in the
1st and 2nd row. In the second row, you can see the hand that looks like
it's doing an upside down "Thumbs Up" motion. Press this button and it
will turn on the Shiatsu massage mode 1 and press it again to go into
mode 2.
18) Can I adjust the strength of the Auto massages?
Yes, you can by pressing either the Upper Body Intensity buttons or
the blue intensity button on the second panel.
19) How do I make the backrest come up further?
In the round set of buttons, you will see the middle squiggle button.
The button to the upper-right of the squiggle allows the backrest to
come up. Hold this button and the backrest will come up slowly and then
release the button when you've reached the desired position.
20) How do I know which automatic massage program is running?
On the top of the screen, you will see the time and next to the time
you will see: F0 Auto, F1 Auto, F2 Auto, F3 Auto, F5 Auto, F6 Auto, F7
Auto, or F8 Auto. F0 is the Demo massage, F1 is the Comfort massage,
F2 is the Fatigue Recovery massage, F3 is the Ache Relieve massage,
F5 is the Full Air massage, F6 is the Waist Stretch massage, F7 is the
Synchronous Music massage, and F8 is the Relax massage.
21) How do I make the Shoulder Grasp faster?
Once in this massage method, all you have to do is press the speed
button. There are 5-speed levels to choose from so finding the right one
should be easy.
22) Why isn't my chair going down after my massage ended?
Once the chair has run through the timed massage, the chair will not
return to its sitting position just yet. This screen will be asking you to
save the massage. If you choose not to save it just press the power
on/off button to make the chair return to a normal sitting position.
23) How do I turn on the Negative Oxygen Ion function?
Below the built-in speaker there is another thing that looks like a
speaker on the upper arm headrest. This is where the negative oxygen
ions come out. Next to this are 2 buttons, the top button turns on this
function and the button below it adjusts the speed.
24) How do I make the massage stronger on my feet?
On the second panel of buttons, you will see the set of 4 buttons in
blue. The second blue button states “Intensity” below it. Press this

button to adjust the strength of the massage.
25) What does the Arthrosis Traction button do?
This button activates our Calf Stretch function. Pressing this button
will turn it off if it is currently on or turn it on if it is currently off.
26) During the Full Air Massage can I turn off the Calf, Feet, and
Seat functions?
Yes. During this massage, if you want to turn off the calf, feet, and
seat, all you have to do is press the 1st blue button on the second panel.
It's at the very bottom left-hand side. It will state “Lower Body” below it.
Press it 3 times to turn it off completely.
27) Which massage is the best to fully relax me?
To fully relax your body, you want to choose the Comfort massage.
Your screen will display F1 Auto on top to let you know you've chosen
the right one. This massage is designed to relax the muscles and bones
of your body.
28) Which functions can I adjust the speed in?
The Speed can be adjusted in: Shoulder Grasp massage, Kneading
massage, Tapping massage, Kneading & Tapping massage, Shiatsu
massage, 3D massage, and the Sole Roller massage.
29) How do I get the chair to stretch me?
To do this, look on the 1st panel of buttons. In the 2nd curved row
press, the middle button that states “Waist Stretch” below it. The chair
will squeeze your calves and pull them down gently while the backrest
reclines to fully stretch you.
30) How do I make the backrest recline more?
In the set of round buttons, you will see the middle button that looks
like the squiggle which is your Zero Gravity button. To the bottom right of
this button, you will see a squiggle with an arrow pointing at it. Hold this
button to slowly recline backward and then release it when you've
gotten to where you'd like it to be at.
31) What does the Fatigue Recovery button do?
This function improves your fatigue and recovers your body's
energy. It goes through the different types of hand massages on your
back while also squeezing your calves, massaging your buttocks and
providing a sole rolling massage.
32) What does the Relax button do?
This button provides different massages that will help to promote

blood circulation throughout your body. It will go through a combination
of backhand massages as well as swinging your hip from side-to-side
and using the airbags throughout the chair to stimulate the blood flow in
your body.
33) What does the Ache Relief button do?
This function is designed to relax your normal aching areas. It
provides you with a deeper massage on your body's acupressure
points by going through a mixture of the various backhand massages.
The other functions, like the arms lower body and sole rollers, continue
to work as well.
34) Why isn't my chair massaging after I've turned it on?
You have to press a massage function first before the chair will
begin. After you've pressed one of the automatic massages or
something like the kneading function, the chair will begin its body scan
and then beep 7 times before the massage will actually start.
