Warranty Details
The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in
workmanship and parts for a period of 12 months from
the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this
warranty period, under normal use and care, will be
repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. The
benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all
rights and remedies in respect of the product that the
consumer has under the Competition and Consumer
Act 2010 and similar state and territory laws.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be
excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You
are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major
failure and for compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to
have the goods repaired or replaced if the
goods fail to be of acceptable quality and
the failure does not amount to a major
failure.

2. Proper use
This device is designed to amplify the signal in a
wireless network. In addition, the device can be used as
an access point for devices that communicate wirelessly
or as a client for devices which do not have their own
wireless adaptor. Never use the device for any other
purpose. Only use the device indoors.
The device is intended for private use only and is not
suitable for commercial purposes.
3. Safety instructions
Please read through this section and all of the
documentation carefully and follow all of the
instructions given. The instructions will help
you to operate the device reliably and help
increase its service life.

at hand to the device, but store them safely
so that you can pass them on to a new owner

3.1. Operational safety
• This device is not intended for use by
people (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or
by those without experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or
they have been instructed in its use by that
person. Children should be supervised to
ensure they do not play with this device.
• Please also follow the operating
instructions for any devices that you
connect to the WiFi Range Extender.
• Do not place liquid-filled containers,
such as vases, on or near the device. The
container may tip over and the liquid may
impair the electrical safety of the device.
• Keep the device away from moisture and
from water in droplet or spray form. Avoid
vibrations, dust, heat and direct sunlight
in order to prevent malfunctions. The
operating temperature is 5 °C to 35 °C.

• Never open the casing. This invalidates
the warranty and may render the device
unusable.
• After transporting the device, wait until
it has reached room temperature before
switching it on. Major fluctuations in
temperature or humidity can lead to
condensation which could cause an
electrical short-circuit.
• The device is designed to be connected
to computers with power supply fuse
protection (limited power source according
to EN60950).
• Position the cable so that it cannot be
stepped on or tripped over.
• To avoid damaging the cable, do not place
any objects on it.
• To avoid static charges, you should not
operate the device in extremely dry
conditions.
• In circumstances where there are
electrostatic discharges, the device could

malfunction. In this case, the device must
be reset to the factory settings.
3.2. Data backup
We do not accept any liability for claims for
compensation due to loss of data or any
damages that are incurred. Before every
update, back up your files on external media
(e.g. CD-R).
3.3. Power supply
• Even when the ON/OFF switch is set to OFF,
some of the components in the device may
still be live. To disconnect the power from
your device or to completely isolate the
device from voltage sources, unplug the
device completely from the mains.
• Only operate the WiFi Range Extender from
an easily accessible and earthed socket
with an AC 100-240 V~ 50/60 Hz power
supply.

6. Initial operation
6.1. Setting the operating mode
Use the mode switch on the WiFi Range Extender to
switch the device to the operating mode that you wish
to use. The usage possibilities are described in the
following chapter.
7. Operating mode
7.1. Installation as range extender
(repeater)
Use the repeater mode to use the WiFi Range Extender
to extend the range of your wireless network. This
will reduce the data transmission rate of the wireless
network by half as the repeater must also communicate
with the clients and the wireless access point.
PLEASE NOTE!
When using the device as a repeater for
the first time, place the repeater as close as
possible to the access point to which it is to be
connected. After successful installation, you
can reposition the repeater where the signal is
to be amplified.

7.1.1. How to set up the WiFi Range
Extender for operation as a range
extender (repeater):
Set the mode selection switch to
REPEATER.
Connect the repeater to an
easily accessible mains socket.
Switch on the repeater by
pressing the POWER

7.1.2. Installation as repeater via the
WPS button
The quickest, easiest and most secure way of
establishing a wireless connection between the
repeater and the wireless router is by using the WPS
button.

This connection method presupposes that
both devices have a WPS button.

Press and hold the WPS button on the repeater for 3
seconds. The WPS LED starts to flash.
Now press the WPS button on the device that you
wish to connect to the repeater. This step must be
carried out within two minutes.
The connection is established and network
information is exchanged.
Once the connection has been established, the WPS
LED lights up for 5 minutes.
