Introduction
To get the very best performance from Meech Hyperion bars with Integrated Power
Supplies, Meech offer the Hyperion BarMaster remote programmer. This unique
device is temporarily connected inline with the 24V power supply to the bar and allows
adjustment of the output and of the clean-pin alert settings. Once programming is
complete the BarMaster is disconnected. When it is re-powered, the Hyperion bar
continues to operate at the programmed settings.
Unpacking And Inspection
Your Hyperion BarMaster was carefully packed at the factory in a container
designed to protect it from accidental damage. Nevertheless, we recommend careful
examination of the carton and contents for any damage.
If damage is evident, do not destroy the carton or packing material and immediately
notify the carrier of a possible damage claim. Shipping claims must be made by the
consignee to the delivering carrier.

Connection
Warning:- the Hyperion Barmaster can be connected while switched on, but may result
in a static discharge to the operator.
Switch off the Hyperion 971 or 929 IPS bar, wait for 10 seconds before disconnecting
the 4 pole M8 connector from the bar.
Attach the cable on the BarMaster to the M8 connector on the bar, and the M8
connector from the power supply to the BarMaster.
Switch on the power. The display on the BarMaster will show:

Frequency Alters the bar operating frequency from a 1hz to 20Hz in single Hz
increments. This allows the bar exibility in its range
Balance Alters the balance of –ve ion output to +ve ion from 20%/80% to
80%/20% in 1% increments to attain the correct neutralizing output.
Feedback Allows any feedback function to be disabled / enabled as required
Alarm Alters the alarm trigger point from 20% to 90%(in 1% increments)
of the ion reference setting.
Ion Level Displays the current output as a % of the ion reference point.
Reset Ion Ref Allows the bar output reference to be reset after cleaning /
repositioning etc.

Controls
A toggle button with left, right, up, down and OK selection can be seen below the
screen.
To scroll through the menu use the up down function.
To adjust Frequency, Balance, feedback, Alarm levels use left and right function
To conrm reset Ion Ref or adjustments to the above press OK in the centre.
Disconnecting Bar Master
The memory in the bar holds the changes made when the BarMaster is disconnected.
Power off the BarMaster, wait 10 seconds before disconnecting the M8 connectors
from the bar and BarMaster. Reconnect the M8 connector from the power supply to
the mains supply and power on.
Repairs And Warranty
The Meech 929IPS Bar is warranted by Meech Static Eliminators Ltd. to the original
purchaser against defects in material and workmanship for one year after purchase.
Should any malfunction occur, please return the bar directly to Meech Static
Eliminators Ltd. or your local Meech Distributor. All products returned to the factory
MUST be accompanied by a return authorisation number and must be shipped
prepaid. For prompt service, ship the unit to the factory with the return authorisation
number shown clearly on the label. Be sure that it is well packed in a sturdy carton
with shock absorbing material.
Include a note stating the nature of the problem as specically as possible, and also
include instructions for returning the bar to you. We will pay one-way return shipping
costs on any repairs covered under the warranty.
