BATTERY CAUTIONS:
• Always remove the battery pack from the model before charging.
• Never charge the battery pack for more than 3 hours.
• Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Allow the battery pack to cool for 30 minutes after running before
recharging.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Never mix new and used batteries or dierent types of batteries.
• The battery must be inserted into the transmitter with proper polarity.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE:
• Always remove the battery from the transmitter when it is not being
used.
• Keep the H2O Elite away from heat.
• Do not submerge the H20 Elite in water or allow its internal components
to get wet.
SPECIAL NOTE TO ADULTS:
• Periodically check the charging system, wire, battery pack and all
electrical connections for damage. In the event of damage, the parts
should not be used until properly repaired or replaced.
• This product is not intended for children under 10 years old.
• Only charge the battery pack supplied with the included charger.
• Do not attempt to charge any other batteries with the included charger.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Do not modify or disassemble the unit or its components. Doing so will void your warranty and may cause electrical damage.
• Keep hands, ngers, hair and loose articles of clothing away from the propeller.
• Turn o the transmitter and the boat when not in use.
• Always remove the battery from your transmitter when you have nished boating for the day. Do not store battery inside the transmitter.
• Adult supervision is required.
• Always use a fresh alkaline battery in the transmitter for optimum performance.
• Replace the battery as soon as the use of the boat becomes impaired.
• Please read this manual completely before operating and keep this information for reference.
• The H2O Elite’s charger is specically designed for the H2O Elite Battery. Do not attempt to charge any other battery.
• The battery must always be allowed to cool for 30 minutes after use before recharging or damage could result.

RUNNING PREPARATION
BATTERY INSTALLATION - TRANSMITTER:
Make sure the power button on the boat and the switch on the transmitter are in the o position.
1. Use a Philips head screwdriver to unscrew the battery hatch screw.
2. Put 1 9V alkaline battery into the transmitter, paying close attention to the polarity symbols (+ & -)
3. Replace the cover and tighten the screw.
BATTERY CHARGING:
1. Plug the Wall charger into a standard 110V wall outlet.
2. Connect the battery pack to the charger.
3. Charge the battery pack for approximately 2 to 3 hours, or until it starts to feel warm.
DO NOT OVERCHARGE: Damage to the battery pack or an explosion may occur resulting in property damage or bodily harm.
4. Disconnect the battery pack from the charger, and remove the charger from the outlet.
ATTENTION: NEVER LEAVE THE BATTERY AND CHARGER UNATTENDED WHILE CHARGING.
BATTERY INSTALLATION - BOAT:
1. Remove the clips holding the cover of the boat in place and remove the cover.
2. Place the battery pack in the compartment with the wires facing the rear of the boat.
3. Plug the connector of the battery pack into the boat connector.
4. Replace the cover and reinsert the hold-down clips.
MOUNTING THE ANTENNA TUBE:
1. Feed the end of the receiver antenna wire carefully into the antenna tube. and then mount the antenna tube on the boat.
Do not cut or knot the antenna wire.
AREA AND WEATHER SUGGESTIONS:
1. Do not run the boat in strong winds or when there are high waves.
2. Make sure the area you are running is free from people and obstacles.
3. Lake or Pond vegetation should be avoided or they can obstruct the prop and rudder.
4. Make sure there are no other models running on the same frequency nearby.
OPERATING YOUR BOAT
1. Screw the transmitter antenna into the transmitter until snug.
2. Extend the transmitter antenna fully.
3. Turn ON the transmitter rst, and then turn ON the H2O Elite.
4. Check the throttle and rudder control to make sure they are operating properly.
5. Place the boat in the water.
6. The trigger on your transmitter will accelerate your boat.
7. While moving, you can use the transmitter wheel to turn your boat left and right.
AFTER RUNNING YOUR BOAT
1. Turn OFF the H2O Elite rst, then the turn OFF the transmitter.
2. Disconnect the battery pack.
3. The Battery pack should be allowed to cool for 30 minutes before charging.
4. Dry the boat thoroughly.

Always make sure your transmitter batteries are fresh and your battery pack is fully charged, as this can
cause many operational issues.

Propeller is fouled with debris. Turn o the model, disconnect the 9.6-volt
battery pack, and then remove the debris.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Megatech® International guarantees this item to be free from defects for a period of
30 days from the date of purchase. If any component of this product fails to function
properly due to defects in materials or the manufacturing process during this 30 day
period, the manufacturer’s obligations are limited and the manufacturer can choose
to either repair or replace the item.
This warranty is void if the product in question has been altered or repaired by any-
one other than Megatech International or an authorized agent. Under no circum-
stances will Megatech International or any of its representatives be held liable for
injury to persons or property damage resulting from assembly or use of the product.
Megatech is not liable if any outside radio frequencies interfere with the product’s
frequency causing loss of control. Megatech International will not be held liable for
any injury to persons or property damage resulting from an out-of-control model
caused by use or misuse of the product. Megatech International expressly excludes
any and all expressed warranties not specically stated here and all implied warran-
ties of merchantability and tness for a particular purpose. There are no warranties
which extend beyond the description of the warranties contained herein.
Contact the Megatech International Service Department before returning any item
that is defective according to the limitations listed above. They can be contacted
ONLY via the internet at www.megatech.com/support or via email at: support@
megatech.com Should they request the items be returned, please be sure to pack
the returned item(s) carefully. The customer must return the product along with
proof of purchase, a letter describing the problem and the customer’s address and
telephone number. At this point in time we will either repair the defective part or
replace it and return it to the customer. Return shipping and handling in the 48 con-
tiguous states is $7.99 Shipping outside of the 48 states will be quoted by location.
This warranty does not cover any damage caused by use, misuse, alteration, acci-
dent, or neglect, nor does it cover normal wear and tear of the product. Product re-
turned to us which falls under this category will be submitted to our service depart-
ment for repair. We reserve the right to charge any service and parts fees incurred
when repairing the item.

PREPARACIÓN DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
INSTALACIÓN DE LAS PILAS - TRANSMISOR:
Asegúrese de que el botón de encendido del barco y el interruptor del transmisor se encuentran en la posición de apagado.
1. Utilice un destornillador Philips para desenroscar el tornillo de la escotilla de la batería.
2. Coloque 1 batería alcalina de 9 V en el transmisor, prestando especial atención a los signos de polaridad (+ y -)
3. Vuelva a colocar la escotilla y apriete el tornillo.
CARGA DE LA BATERÍA:
1. Enchufe el cargador de pared en una toma de corriente estándar de 110V.
2. Conecte el paquete batería al cargador.
3. Cargue el paquete de batería aproximadamente 2 a 3 horas, o hasta que empiece a calentarse.
No sobrecargue: Daños al paquete de batería o explosión pueden ocurrir y producir daños a la propiedad o daño corporal.
4. Desconecte el paquete de batería del cargador, y quitar el cargador de la toma de corriente.

INSTALACIÓN DE LAS PILAS - BARCO:
1. Quite los ganchos que sostienen la tapa de cuerpo del barco en su lugar y retire la tapa.
2. Coloque el paquete de batería en el compartimiento con los cables mirando hacia parte trasera del barco.
3. Enchufe el conector del paquete de batería en el conector barco.
4. Vuelva a colocar la tapa de cuerpo y vuelva a insertar los ganchos.
TUBO DE MONTAJE DE ANTENA:
1. Inserte la parte nal del cable de la antena con cuidado en el tubo, y, a continuación, montar la antena en el barco. No corte el
nudo de antena o cable.
SUGERENCIAS DE ESPACIO Y TIEMPO:
1. No ejecute el barco en vientos fuertes o cuando hay olas altas.
2. Asegúrese de que el área donde está corriendo esté libre de personas y obstáculos.
3. Lago o vegetación de estanque se debe evitar o que pueden obstruir la hélice y el timón.
