INSTRUÇÕES DE SEGURANÇA
Antes de pôr este aparelho a funcionar, leia atentamente as instruções de funcionamento e guarde-as
muito bem, juntamente com o talão de compra e, se possível, a embalagem com os elementos
interiores. Se colocar o aparelho à disposição de terceiros, entregue-lhes também o Manual de
Instruções. Utilize o aparelho exclusivamente para fins privados e para a finalidade para a qual foi
concebido. Este aparelho não se destina a fins comerciais. Não o utilize ao ar livre. Mantenha-o
protegido do calor, de irradiação solar directa, da humidade (não o imergir de forma alguma em
quaisquer líquidos) e de arestas aguçadas. Não utilize o aparelho com as mãos molhadas. Sempre que
não utilize o aparelho, que monte acessórios, limpe ou em caso de avarias, deverá desligá-lo e retirar a
ficha da tomada (puxe pela ficha e não pelo cabo). O aparelho não deverá funcionar sem vigilância. Se
se ausentar da divisão, desligue-o sempre e retire a ficha da tomada. Antes de ligar o aparelho verifique
se a voltagem indicada no fundo da base corresponde à da tomada. Ligue o aparelho apenas a uma
tomada com ligação à terra. Deve examinar o aparelho e o cabo de ligação com regularidade. Caso
verifique algum dano, não utilize o artigo e dirija-se ao centro técnico autorizado (nunca tente reparar o
artigo). Certifique-se que apenas são utilizados peças originais da marca. Por questões de segurança,
não deixe acessórios de embalamento (plásticos, papelão, esferovite, etc.) ao alcance das crianças.
INSTRUÇÕES ESPECIAIS DE SEGURANÇA
AVISO: A base do ferro aquece rapidamente e mantém-se quente. Será necessário esperar algum
tempo para ficar fria.
Não toque na base! Quando o ferro não estiver a ser utilizado, coloque-o no descanso. Escolha uma
superfície segura para o suporte. O ferro deve ser utilizado e colocado sobre uma superfície nivelada,
estável e resistente ao calor. Antes de encher o depósito da água, retire a ficha da tomada. O aparelho
não deve ser deixado sem vigilância, enquanto está ligado à corrente. Não utilize o ferro caso este
tenha caído, possua danos visíveis ou fugas.
Coloque sempre o ferro na base. Tenha atenção para nunca colocar o ferro quente em cima da
mangueira de vapor ou do cabo de alimentação!
Não coloque perfume, vinagre, goma, agentes descalcificantes, aditivos para engomar ou outros
líquidos dentro do depósito da água. Utilize somente água destilada.
Lave o depósito de água uma vez por mês ou após 10 utilizações, de forma a prevenir danos no seu
ferro.
Este aparelho não deve utilizado por crianças. Avise-as que um ferro com caldeira não é um brinquedo
e alerte para os perigos envolventes. O artigo só poderá ser utilizado por pessoas com capacidades
físicas, motoras e psicológicas reduzidas ou sem experiência, caso lhes sejam dadas as devidas
instruções de utilização e as mantenha sob supervisão.

ANTES DA PRIMEIRA UTILIZAÇÃO
O ferro pode emitir algum fumo durante a primeira utilização. Isto é normal e irá parar ao fim de
pouco tempo.
Partículas brancas poderão sair da base do ferro durante a primeira utilização. Estas partículas
são inofensivas e ao fim de pouco tempo deixarão de sair.
Quando liga o aparelho, a base da caldeira poderá emitir um som vindo da bomba. Não se
preocupe: esse som indica que a água está a ser bombeada para a caldeira.
Retire autocolantes ou películas de protecção da base do ferro e limpe com um pano macio.
Coloque a base da caldeira numa superfície estável e nivelada, como por exemplo, uma tábua
de engomar ou uma mesa.
PREP
PREPARAÇÃO PARA UTILIZAÇÃO
Encher o depósito com água
AVISO: UTILIZE APENAS ÁGUA DESTILADA NO
DEPÓSITO.
Não coloque perfume, vinagre, goma, agentes descalcificantes, aditivos para engomar ou outros
líquidos no depósito de água. Utilize apenas água destilada.
Proceda da seguinte forma:
1. Retire o depósito de água (B) da base.
2. Encha o depósito com água até à marca MAX.
3. Volte a colocar o depósito de água (B) na base.
NOTAS: O depósito de água (B) pode ser enchido a qualquer altura durante a sua utilização.
Definir a temperatura
1. Consulte as etiquetas do vestuário acerca da temperatura ideal para engomar:
●Tecidos sintéticos (acrílico, viscose, poliamida) e seda

2. Ajuste o regulador de temperatura (E) rodando para a temperatura desejada.
3. Insira a ficha (A) numa tomada com ligação à terra a coloque o botão (J) na posição ON.
A caldeira e o ferro irão começar a aquecer.
O ferro demora cerca de 1 minuto a aquecer até ao nível ●●e a caldeira demora
aproximadamente 2 minutos e meio a aquecer.
Assim que a caldeira tiver atingido o nível máximo de pressão e estiver pronta para engomar a vapor, a
luz piloto do ferro (G) irá acender-se.
Dicas para engomar
- Se o artigo consistir em vários tipos de fibras, seleccione sempre a temperatura requerida pela fibra
mais delicada; ou seja, a temperatura mais baixa. Por exemplo: o tecido consiste em 60% poliéster e
40% algodão, deverá engomar à temperatura indicada para o poliéster (●●).
- Caso não saiba qual o tipo de tecido da peça que vai engomar, faça um teste com as várias
temperaturas num pedaço que fique oculto ao vestir até conseguir determinar a temperatura ideal.
- Seda, lã e materiais sintéticos: engome o tecido do avesso para prevenir manchas brilhantes.
- Tecidos com tendência para adquirirem manchas brilhantes devem ser engomados apenas numa
direcção e o ferro não deve ser pressionado para evitar marcas.
- Comece por engomar primeiro os artigos que requerem a temperatura mais baixa, ou seja, os tecidos
sintéticos.
- Para arrefecer o ferro de forma mais rápida, aplique vapor ou engome uma peça de roupa.

UTILIZAÇÃO DO APARELHO
Engomar a vapor
O cabo de ligação (K) poderá ficar quente depois de um longo período a engomar.
Após ligar o botão ON/OFF, o equipamento poderá emitir algum ruído. Esta situação é normal e
acontece porque a água está a ser bombeada para a caldeira.

Certifique-se de que o depósito tem água destilada suficiente. Não exceda a marca MAX.
NOTA: Engomar a vapor só é possível a temperaturas mais elevadas (acima de ●●).
Pressione o botão de vapor (F) para começar a engomar.
Rode o regulador de vapor (H) para ajustar o vapor. Durante o processo de engomar a vapor, a
luz piloto de vapor acende-se ocasionalmente para indicar a temperatura.
O abrir e fechar da válvula de vapor no depósito da água vai emitir um clique. Isto é normal.
Engomar sem vapor
Poderá engomar sem vapor, para tal poderá fazer de uma das seguintes formas:
Não pressione o botão de vapor, ou
Rode o controlador de vapor para a posição fechado.
Utilize o ferro conforme o habitual.
Engomar na vertical
CUIDADO: Nunca direccione o vapor a pessoas ou animais. Perigo de queimaduras!
Poderá engomar a vapor cortinas e roupas penduradas em cabides (casacos, fatos). Para tal segure o
ferro na posição vertical e pressione o botão de vapor.
Fim de funcionamento
Coloque o ferro na base.
Desligue o aparelho.
Retire a ficha da tomada e espere que o ferro arrefeça antes de o guardar.

LIMPEZA E MANUTENÇÃO
ATENÇÃO: Nunca mergulhe o aparelho dentro de água nem o lave debaixo de água corrente. Espere
que o ferro arrefeça totalmente –PERIGO DE QUEIMADURAS!
Não utilize escovas nem outros objectos abrasivos. Não utilize detergentes ácidos nem
abrasivos.
Limpe o ferro com um pano húmido.
Limpe os resíduos da base do ferro com um pano húmido e um pouco de detergente de limpeza
suave.
Armazenamento
Espere sempre que o ferro arrefeça e esvazie o depósito de água antes de o guardar.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and keep it along with the receipt, warranty and,
if possible the original box with the packing. This will ensure optimum results and maximum safety. Save
these instructions for future reference. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the
operating instructions. The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged
purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources
of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance
with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. When cleaning or putting it away,
switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if
the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories. Do not operate the machine
without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the device off. Remove the plug from
the socket. Check if the voltage indicated on the bottom of the steam tank corresponds to the local mains
voltage before you connect the appliance. Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socked. The
device and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the
device must not be used. Never try to repair the appliance on you own. If the mains cord is the damaged,
it must be replace by a service center authorized or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid any
hazard. Use only original spare parts. In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please keep all
packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: The irons soleplate gets hot very quickly and it stays hot. It takes a while till gets cold again.
Do not touch the soleplate! When the appliance is not being used always place it on the stand or on its
heel. The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure
that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable. The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped,
if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking. Do not put the hot iron on the supply hose or the
mains cord. Make sure that mains cord and the supply hose do not come into contact with the hot
soleplate.
Do not put perfume, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids or other chemicals in the water tank.
Rinse the steam tank once a month or after 10 times of use to prevent damage to your iron.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved children shall not play with the appliance

Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age when it is energized or
cooling down. Surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
Infirm persons should not be allowed to use the appliance without supervision. Keep the appliance out of
the reach of the children.

BEFORE FIRST USE
The iron may give off some smoke when you use it for the first time. This is normal and will stop
after a short while.
White particles may out of the soleplate when you use the iron for the first time. This is normal,
The particles are harmless and will stop coming out of the iron after a short while.
When you switch the appliance on, the steam tank may produce a pumping sound. This is
normal; the sound tells you that water is being pumped into the steam tank.
Remove any sticker or protective foil from the soleplate and clean the soleplate with a soft cloth.
Place the steam tank on a stable and level surface, i.e. on the ironing board or on a table.
PREPARING FOR USE
Filling the detachable water tank
WARNING: USE ONLY DISTILLED WATER IN THE
WATER TANK.
Do not put perfume, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids or other chemicals in the water tank.
Proceed as following:
1. Remove the detachable water tank (B) from the steam tank.
2. Fill the water tank with water up to the MAX indication.
3. Slide the water tank (B) back into the steam tank.
NOTE: The water tank (B) can be filled with water at any moment during its use.
Setting the temperature
1. Check the garment label for the required ironing temperature
●Synthetic fabrics (e.g. acryl, viscose, polyamide) and silk
●●Wool
●●●Cotton

2. Set the temperature dial (E) to the required ironing temperature by turning it to the appropriate
temperature indication.
3. Insert the plug (A) into an earthed wall socket and set the on/off switch (J) to “on”.
The steam tank and the iron will now start heating up.
The iron takes approx. 1 minute to heat up to ●●and the steam tank takes approx. 2.5 minutes to
heat up.
As soon as the steam tank is ready for steam ironing, the steam tank pilot light (G) goes on.
Ironing Tips
‐If the article consists of various kind of fiber, always select the temperature required by the most
delicate fiber, i.e. the lowest temperature. If, for example, the fabric consists of 60％polyester and 40％
cotton, it should be ironed at the temperature indicated for polyester (●●).
‐If you do not know what kind of fabric(s) the article is made of, determine the right ironing temperature
by ironing a part that will not be visible when you wear or use the article.
‐Silk, woolen and synthetic materials: Iron the reverse side of the fabric to prevent shiny patches.
‐Fabrics that tend to acquire shiny patches should be ironed in one direction only (along with the nap)
while applying very little pressure.
‐Start ironing the articles that require the lowest ironing temperature, i.e. those made of synthetic
materials.
- To make the iron cool down faster, simply apply steam or iron a piece of cloth.
USING THE APPLIANCE
Steam ironing
The supply hose (K) may become hot during a long ironing session.
The system may occasionally produce a pumping sound during steam ironing. This is normal and
tells you that water is being pumped into the steam tank.
Make sure there is enough water in the water tank. Do not exceed the MAX mark.
NOTE: Steam ironing is only possible at higher ironing temperatures (higher than ●●).
Press the steam button (F) to start ironing.
Turn the steam dial (H) to adjust the amount of steam. During steam ironing, the “steam ready
light” goes on from time to time to indicate temperature.

The opening and closing of the steam valve in the steam tank will cause a clicking sound. This is
perfectly normal.
Ironing without steam
You may iron without steam, to do so choose one of the options:
Start ironing without pressing the steam activator, or
Switch the steam rate dial to close position.
Use the iron as usual.
Vertical steaming
CAUTION! Never direct the steam at people. Risk of burns!
You can steam iron hanging curtains and clothes (jackets, suits, coats) by holding the iron in vertical
position and pressing the steam activator.
After ironing
Put the iron on the stand.
Switch the appliance off.
Remove the mains plug from the wall socket and let the iron cool down before you keep it.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Never immerse the iron in water nor rinse it under the tap. Wait until the iron cools down
completely - RISK OF BURNS!
Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items. Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents
Clean the iron with a damp cloth.
Wipe scale and any other deposits off the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive
cleaning agent.
Storage
Always let the iron cool down before storing it.
Empty the water tank and store the supply hose and the mains cord.

Water droplets come out
of the soleplate

When you start steam ironing and when
you have stopped steam ironing for a
while, the steam that was still present in
the supply hose will have cooled down and
condensed into water, which causes water
droplets to come out of the soleplate.
This is perfectly normal. Hold the
iron over an old cloth and press the
steam activator when you start
ironing (again).Wait until steam
instead of water comes out of the
soleplate.
Smoke comes out of my
new iron when I switch it
on.
Some parts of the appliance have been
lightly greased in the factory and may
initially give off some smoke when heated.

This appliance has been properly tested to the EU standards. During the warranty period, we will
proceed to the free removal - for repair or, in our decision, for replacement - of defects in the device or
accessories * that may arise from material or manufacturing errors. The provision of warranty services
will not extend it, nor will they start a new warranty period! The purchase receipt will consist of proof of
this guarantee. Without it, it will not be possible to make any free exchange or repair.
In the event of a warranty, please return the complete appliance together with the purchase receipt to the
store where it was purchased. *) In the event of damage to any accessories, a complete replacement of
the appliance will not be carried out automatically. Contact our green line in this case. Damage caused
by broken glass or plastic parts will have to be paid by the customer. No defects in accessories or
