ATTENTION!
The antenna power terminal on the front panel is only to use for power supply of an external active antenna. The
operating voltage of the converter is provided by the connected MEINBERG receiver.
In order to avoid antenna damage, please read exactly the technical specications of the antennas manufac-
turers.

3 Technical Specifications GPS CONVERTER
The Meinberg GPS converter allows the connection of a GPS L1 antenna (1575.42MHz) of other vendors to a
Meinberg GPS receiver.
The module doesn't provide any DC voltage for powering active antennas, the DC voltage has to
be applied externally via the 2-pin screw termminal.
INPUT: receive frequency: 1575.42 MHz
Input Level: -75dBm...-130 dBm
CONVERTER: mixture frequency: 10 MHz
Intermediate frequency: 35.4 MHz
Power supply of converter is provided by the connected
Meinberg GPS receiver via the coaxial cable
CONNECTORS: female type N connector for GPS antenna (option: femal SMA connector)
female type N connector for Meinberg receiver
2-pin Phoenix screw terminal for an active antenna
Note:
The power supply which is to be connected depends on the active antenna.
Please note exactly the manufacturer's specications of the antenna!
