MEMOSTAR EazyTube GO LED T8
1. Inleiding
Wij danken u voor de aankoop van de Memostar LED-buis EazyTube GO LED.
BELANGRIJK: Deze handleiding bevat belangrijke gebruikers- en veiligheidsinstructies.
Wij raden u tevens aan deze handleiding te bewaren.
2. Kenmerken
De LED-buis EazyTube GO biedt een directe en ecologische vervanging van uw
conventionele TL-buizen. U kan in een handomdraai de oude TL verwisselen door een
EazyTube GO LED.
Bijkomende kenmerken:
9Geschikt voor gebruik in armaturen voorzien van magnetische of elektronische
voorschakelapparaten (ook VSA of ballast genoemd). Compatibel met
99% van de ballasten op de markt. Een magnetische ballast is herkenbaar door de
aanwezigheid van een starter.
9Voorzien van een geavanceerde driver waardoor geen aanpassing nodig is aan uw
bestaande installatie (zijnde starter, VSA, bedrading, armatuur) op voorwaarde dat
de installatie geen defecten vertoont. Is de VSA/ballast en/of starter defect? Lees
verder onder punt 5.
9Roterende lampvoeten voor een optimale stralingshoek.
9Stevige aluminium behuizing met afdekking in mat kunststof.
9Erg lange levensduur van ± 50 000u (bij gebruik binnenshuis) hetzij een levensduur
tot 3 maal langer dan een klassieke TL lamp.
9Bespaar tot 60% energie t.o.v. een klassieke TL lamp.
3. Veiligheidsinstructies
Hou de volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen in het oog alvorens de LED-buis te
installeren:
AANDACHT:
! Onderbreek steeds de netstroom alvorens de LED-buis te installeren.
•Installeer de LED-buis in een droge omgeving en een luchtvochtigheid tussen 10%
en 70%.
•Bij installatie buitenshuis dient een waterbestendige armatuur te worden gebruikt.
•Bescherm de inhoud van dit pakket tegen schokken en vermijd verkeerd gebruik bij
installatie en inwerkingstelling.
•Vermijd elektrostatische ontlading bij het installeren van de LED Strip om defecten
te voorkomen.
•Overschrijd de bedrijfstemperatuur van de LED-buis niet: -20°C et 50°C.
•Kijk nooit langere tijd recht in de brandende LEDs want dit zou uw ogen kunnen schaden.
4. Installatie van de LED-buis
AANDACHT:
! Onderbreek steeds de netstroom alvorens de LED-buis te installeren.
! Onderstaande richtlijnen zijn UITSLUITEND van kracht voor
goedwerkende installaties (zonder defecten aan ballast, starter, ...).
U hoeft de starter en/of ballast niet te verwijderen om de Memostar LED-buis
EazyTube GO te kunnen gebruiken.
Dus:
a. Verwijder de te vervangen TL lamp. Zie fig.1.
b. Installeer de LED-buis op dezelfde manier als een conventionele TL. Zie fig.2.
Dankzij de roterende lampvoet kan u de stralingshoek naar wens aanpassen.
c. Sluit de netstroom weer aan en geniet van direct licht en kwalitatieve LED-
verlichting.
5. Hoe te werk gaan bij defecte VSA/ballast en/of starter
1. DEFECTE VSA/ballast
- De EazyTube GO LED werkt enkel wanneer de ballast geen defecten vertoont.
- Bij defect raadpleeg een elektricien voor het overbruggen of verwijderen van
de VSA volgens fig.3a (magnetische ballast) en fig. 3b (elektronische ballast).
2. DEFECTE STARTER (enkel bij magnetische ballast aanwezig)
- EazyTube GO LED werkt perfect zowel zonder starter als met een goed
functionerende starter.
- Een defecte starter zou de levensduur van de LED-buis kunnen verminderen.
Raadpleeg een elektricien voor het overbruggen of verwijderen van de starter.
6. Hoe het verbruik van uw installatie nog verminderen (OPTIONEEL)
Niettegenstaande de EazyTube GO LED perfect functioneert met een VSA en/of starter
en al een hele besparing op uw energiekosten zal opleveren, kan u het energieverbruik
van uw installatie nog optimaliseren door de VSA/ballast en de starter (enkel bij
magnetische VSA) te laten overbruggen of verwijderen door een elektricien.
Het gemiddelde verbruik van een magnetische ballast is ±4W en van een
elektronische ballast ±2W.
Voor het overbruggen of verwijderen van ballast/starter kan de elektricien te werk
gaan zoals beschreven onder punt 5. (fig.3a voor magnetische ballast en fig. 3b voor
elektronische ballast).

8. Milieuvoorschriften
Verwijdering van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur als
afval (AEEE)
Dit symbool aangebracht op het product of de verpakking geeft aan dat u
het product niet mag wegwerpen met uw gewone huishoudelijk afval. Aan
het einde van zijn levenscyclus is het noodzakelijk dat u het inlevert bij
een daartoe aangewezen inzamelpunt voor het recycleren van afgedankte
elektrische en elektronische apparatuur conform de geldende richtlijnen
van het land waar u verblijft. Deze systemen dragen bij aan het behoud
van natuurlijke hulpbronnen en waarborgen een verwerking van het toestel op een
milieuvriendelijke manier. Neem contact met uw plaatselijke administratie belast met
afvalverwerking voor meer informatie over deze inzamelsystemen.
9. Garantie en beperkingen
Garantie: u geniet een garantieperiode van drie jaar indien dit product tekortkomingen
vertoont in materiaal of vakmanschap. De fabrikant/invoerder zal binnen die
garantietermijn alle defecten kosteloos herstellen of het toestel vervangen. Het
defecte toestel dient vergezeld te zijn van het aankoopbewijs. Verkeerd gebruik,
accidentele of opzettelijke beschadigingen worden niet gedekt door deze garantie
evenals slijtage.
Onder geen beding is de fabrikant/invoerder verantwoordelijk voor beschadiging
aan voorwerpen of toestellen, noch voor gevolgschade of bijkomende schade of
opgelopen kosten. Dit tast uw statutaire rechten niet aan.

MEMOSTAR EazyTube GO LED T8
1.Introduction
Nous vous remercions pour l’achat du tube luminescent Memostar EazyTube GO LED.
IMPORTANT:
Ce manuel contient des consignes d’utilisation et de sécurité importantes.
Nous vous conseillons de le conserver pour toute référence ultérieure.
2. Caractéristiques
Le tube EazyTube LED GO permet le remplacement instantané et écologique
de votre tube fluorescent conventionnel et ce en un tour de main.
Caractéristiques supplémentaires :
9Convient aux armatures dotées de ballasts magnétiques ou électroniques.
Il est compatible avec 99% des ballasts disponibles sur le marché. Un ballast
magnétique est toujours équipé d’un starter.
9Grâce à son driver haute technologie, il n’est pas nécessaire de modifier votre
installation. Le starter, ballast et câblage existants peuvent rester en place à
condition, toutefois, qu’ils ne présentent pas de défaillances. Lorsque le ballast ou
starter sont défectueux, lisez les instructions sous le point 5.
9Embouts rotatifs pour un angle de rayonnement optimal.
9Coque solide en aluminium et protection en plastique mat.
9Possède une très longue durée de vie de 50 000 h (à raison d’une utilisation
en intérieur) soit une longévité jusqu’à 3 fois supérieure à un tube luminescent
classique.
9Permet de réaliser jusqu’à 60% d’économie d’énergie par rapport à un tube
classique.
3. Consignes importantes de sécurité
Veuillez observer les précautions suivantes avant d’installer ce tube LED:
ATTENTION: ! Coupez l’alimentation électrique avant d’installer un tube LED.
•Installez le tube LED dans un environnement sec à un taux d’humidité entre 10%
et 70%.
•Placez le tube LED dans un luminaire étanche lors d’une utilisation en extérieur.
•Protégez le contenu de cet emballage des chocs et éviter une mauvaise utilisation
lors de l’installation et la mise en service.
•Evitez des décharges électrostatiques lors de l’installation du tube LED afin de
garantir son bon fonctionnement.
•Ne dépassez pas la température de fonctionnement du tube LED: entre -20°C et 50°C.
•Ne regardez pas droit dans la lumière du tube LED pendant une période prolongée
afin d’éviter toute lésion aux yeux.
4. Instructions d’installation
ATTENTION: ! Coupez l’alimentation électrique avant d’installer le tube LED.
! Les étapes suivantes s’appliquent EXCLUSIVEMENT pour des installations
qui fonctionnent bien (sans aucun défaut au niveau du ballast, starter,…).
Il n’est pas nécessaire d’enlever le starter ou le ballast pour faire fonctionner votre
EazyTube GO LED Memostar.
Les trois étapes simples à parcourir pour l’installation du tube LED sont:
a. Enlevez la lampe TL que vous désirez remplacer. Voir fig. 1.
b. Installez le tube LED de la même façon qu’un tube traditionnel. Voir fig. 2.
Grâce aux embouts rotatifs, vous pouvez choisir l’angle de rayonnement idéal.
c. Rebranchez l’alimentation électrique et profitez d’un allumage instantané et d’un
éclairage LED de qualité.
5. Comment procéder lors d’un ballast et/ou starter défectueux
1. Ballast défectueux
- Le EazyTube GO LED nécessite un ballast en bon état de fonctionnement.
- Lorsque le ballast présente des défaillances, consultez un électricien pour qu’il
retire ou ponte le ballast en suivant le schéma de raccordement sous la fig.3a
(ballast magnétique) et fig. 3b (ballast électronique).
2. Starter défectueux (uniquement ballast magnétique)
- Le EazyTube GO LED fonctionne parfaitement sans starter ou avec un starter
en bon état.
- Un starter défectueux risque de réduire la durée de vie du tube LED. Consultez
un électricien pour le retirer ou le ponter.

6. Comment augmenter l’efficacité énergétique de votre installation?
(OPTIONNEL)
Malgré le parfait fonctionnement du EazyTube GO LED en combinaison avec une
installation dotée d’un ballast et/ou starter et l’importante économie d’énergie
réalisée grâce au tube LED, vous bénéficierez d’une économie supplémentaire lorsque
le ballast et le starter (ballast magnétique) sont pontés ou retirés par un électricien.
La consommation moyenne d’un ballast magnétique est de ±4W et d’un ballast
électronique de ±2W. Le point 5 de ce manuel décrit comment ponter ou retirer le
ballast et le starter par votre électricien. Voir également les schémas fig.3a ballast
magnétique et fig. 3b ballast électronique.

8. Consignes relatives à la protection de l’environnement
Déchets d’équipements électriques et électroniques en fin de vie (DEEE)
Ce symbole figurant sur le produit ou l’emballage signifie que le produit
doit être éliminé séparément des autres déchets ménagers. A la fin de
son cycle de vie, vous devez donc éliminer l’appareil dans les centres de
triage et de recyclage prévus à cet effet, conformément aux directives
en vigueur dans votre pays de résidence. Ainsi votre appareil usagé sera
recyclé ou certains matériaux seront réutilisés de manière écologique afin
de protéger les ressources naturelles. Pour plus d’information sur les systèmes de
collecte, contactez votre organisation locale responsable des déchets.
9. Garantie et limitation de garantie
Garantie: une garantie de trois ans couvre tous les défauts de matériaux et de
fabrication de ce produit. Le fabricant/importateur s’engage à réparer sans frais
ou à remplacer l’appareil. L’appareil défectueux doit être accompagné de la preuve
d’achat. Une mauvaise utilisation, des dommages accidentels ou intentionnels et
l’usure ne sont pas couverts par cette garantie. L’ouverture ou le démontage de ce
produit annule automatiquement la garantie.
Le fabricant/importateur ne pourra pas être tenu responsable de la détérioration
d’objets ou d’appareils, de dommages directs ou indirects ou frais encourus. Ceci
n’affecte pas vos droits statutaires.

MEMOSTAR EazyTube GO LED T8
1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Memostar EazyTube GO LED tube.
IMPORTANT: This manual contains important operating and safety instructions.
We advise you to save this manual.
2. Characteristics
The Memostar EazyTube GO LED tube offers a direct and ecological replacement
for your conventional T8 TL tubes. You can easily replace the old TL with a new
EazyTube GO LED.
Additional features:
9Can be used in light fixtures with a magnetic or electronic ballast. 99%
compatibility with ALL magnetic and electronic ballasts. A magnetic ballast can be
recognized by the presence of a starter.
9Equipped with an advanced driver which ensures there is no need for any
adaptation to your current installation (viz. starter, ballast, wiring, fixture,…)
provided the installation is not defective. If the ballast and/or starter is defect,
read under point 5.
9Rotatable end caps for optimal beam angle.
9Solid aluminum housing with polycarbonate frosted cover.
9Very long lifetime of ± 50 000h (when used indoor) or up to 3 times that of a
traditional TL.
9Up to 60% energy saving compared to a classic tube.
3. Safety instructions
Before installing the LED tube please keep in mind the following precautions:
ATTENTION ! Always cut the power before starting the installation.
•Install the LED tube in a dry environment and air humidity between 10% and 70%.
•A waterproof fixture should be used for installation outside.
•Protect the content of this pack against shocks and misuse upon installation and
operation.
•Avoid electrostatic discharge upon extension of the LED tube to prevent defects
from occurring.
•Do not exceed the operating temperature of the LED tube: between -20°C ~ 50°C.
•Do not look directly into the burning LEDs for a longer period of time as this could
damage your eyes.
4. Easy installation of the LED tube
ATTENTION ! Always cut the power before starting the installation.
! Below guidelines EXCLUSIVELY apply for installations that function
properly (without any defects to ballast, starter,…).
You do not need to remove the starter and/or ballast to use the Memostar EazyTube
GO LED.
So:
a. Remove the TL lamp you want to replace. See fig.1.
b. Install the LED tube in the same way as a conventional TL lamp. See fig.2.
With the Rotatable end caps you can choose the ideal beam angle.
c. Turn the power back on and enjoy your LED lighting.
5. What to do when the ballast and/or starter are defect
1. Defect ballast
- The EazyTube GO LED only works if the ballast is not defective.
- If the ballast is defective, please consult an electrician to bypass or remove
the ballast according to fig.3a (magnetic ballast) and fig.3b (electronic ballast).
2. Defect starter (only present with magnetic ballast)
- The EazyTube GO LED works perfectly both with and without a properly
functioning starter.
- A defect starter could decrease the lifetime of the LED tube. It is advised to
consult an electrician to bypass or remove the starter.
6. How to lower the power consumption of your installation (OPTIONAL)
Notwithstanding the fact that the EazyTube GO LED works perfectly with a ballast
and/or starter and already guarantees considerable energy saving, you can optimize
the power consumption of your installation by having an electrician bypass or remove
the ballast and starter (starter only present with a magnetic ballast).
The average power consumption of a magnetic ballast is ±4W and ±2W for an
electronic ballast. To bypass or remove the ballast/starter the electrician can follow
the steps under point 5. (fig.3a for magnetic ballast and fig.3b for electronic ballast).

8. Environmental recommendations:
Waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
This symbol on the product or the packaging indicates that the equipment
carrying this mark must not be thrown into general waste but should be
collected separately and properly processed under local regulations. The
appropriate take-back systems will reuse or recycle most of the materials
of your end life equipment in an ecological way and diminish the pressure
on the natural resources. Please contact your local waste administration if you need
more information on the collection systems.
9. Warranty and warranty limitations
Warranty: this product is warranted to be free from defects in material and
operation for three years. If in the unlikely event it is found to be defective within this
period of time, the importer/manufacturer will repair or replace it. When returning the
defect device, the sales receipt must be enclosed. Warranty does not cover misuse,
accidental or deliberate damage, wear and tear.
Opening or disassembling the device automatically void the warranty. Under no
condition can the importer/manufacturer be held liable for loss or damage to items
or appliances, consequential or incidental damages or expenses incurred. This does
not affect your statutory rights.
