2. Specification
The accessory is an infrared remote control and an infrared receiver enabling
wireless adjustment of the position of the work chair.
• Remote control battery: 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries
• Working temperature range: 0°C to +50°C
• Communication: Infrared 940 nm, modulation 38 kHz
• Supply voltage: Receiver 5 V, remote control 3 V (2 x AAA)
• Max clock frequency: 16 MHz

3. Assembly and pairing
3.1. Assembly of IR receiver
The receiver is connected to the connection on the control box's manual controller. For more information about
the control box, download the Connection Guide 24V1G document from our website.
3.2. Pairing
1. Make sure the chair is charged or connected
to a charger (please note that the chair cannot
be driven with the charger connected)
2. Pull out and replace the IR receiver in the control box
to activate pairing mode
3. Within 30 seconds of connecting the receiver,
depress both buttons for adjusting the height function
simultaneously as shown on the right and keep them
depressed for about 2 seconds
4. The chair and remote control are now paired
5. Verify that pairing has been completed by test running
one function e.g. seat height (please note that the chair
cannot be operated with the charger connected)
4. Use
The remote control only works with the chair
to which it is paired.
Two versions of the remote control are available.
One with the possibility of adjusting seat height,
seat tilt, back angle and brake (805169) and the
other with only seat height adjustment (805170).

5. Battery replacement
The remote control is powered by 2 standard AAA batteries.
To replace the battery, do as follows:
1. Loosen the three screws on the back with
a Torx T10 screwdriver.
2. Replace the batteries with new ones.
Separate used batteries at source according
to regulations for Destruction & Recycling.
3. Verify that the remote control works by pressing
any function. A diode should then light
up on the circuit board (A).
4. Screw the remote control together using
the three screws.
6. Troubleshooting
If the remote control does not work together with the chair, check that:
1. The chair is charged and has operating voltage
2. The remote control is paired with the chair
3. The batteries in the remote control are energised and the LED flashes
when a button is pressed (A)
4. The flat cable between the control panel and circuit board
is connected correctly (B)
If several chairs react to the same remote control. Check the serial
number (SN) on the back of all remote controls (C).
1. If there are different serial numbers, pair each remote control with
respective chair.
2. If it is a question of the same serial number, contact Mercado Medic
AB to replace it with a different remote control so all remote controls
have different serial numbers.
