QUICK START
1. Select appropriate mask size using Sizing Chart -
Large Adult, Small Adult or Child. (Diagram 1)
2. Connect oxygen tubing to flowmeter or regulator.
3. Adjust oxygen flow as indicated on yellow sticker
(Diagram 2) attached to oxygen tubing or adjust flow
per hospital/system protocol.
*Manometer will not register until placed on patient.
4. Place mask on patient’s face and adjust with
elcro strap on each of 4 points. (Diagram 3)
5. Squeeze forehead adjustment tabs to adjust mask.
(Diagram 4)
· Quick release clips allow fast access to remove mask.
· Spring action forehead pads allow adjustment of
mask on bridge of nose.
6. Check manometer and adjust flow to achieve desired
pressure.
CPAP with Nebulizer
7. Place T-Piece between Mask and CPAP alve. (Diagram 5)
8. Place medication in medication bowl.
9. Attach second gas source to nebulizer.
10. Adjust second gas source to manufacturer’s
recommended flow rate.

CPAP with Nebulizer
Onl one ox gen source is necessar since the nebulizer portion is
built into Flow-Safe II EZ.
7. Place medication in medication bowl.
8. Turn nebulizer switch to green.
9. Adjust oxygen flow to maintain desired pressure or adjust
flow per hospital/system protocol.
· Turning the switch to green will reduce pressure requiring
an increase in gas flow to maintain original pressure. (Diagram 5)
