FISHERMANS
The MESDAN UNIRAPID FISHERMANS KNOTTER combines simplicity of design with high
performance, the overall knotting capacity of the basic types embracing the winders possible
variety of natural and man-made fibers. Variations of the basic types are available for yarns with
special characteristics. Lightweight plastic covers are fitted to all types, giving full protection
against accidental damage.
WEAVERS
The MESDAN UNIRAPID WEAVERS KNOTTER with its enlarged knotting capacity embraces
almost all textile fibers including Cotton, Wool, Linen, Hemp and Synthetic. The accuracy of the
knot formation and equality of tail length make it an indispensable accessory in the preparation
of high quality Weaving and Knitting yarns. Lightweight plastic covers are fitted to all types, giving
full protection against accidental damage.
WINDERS
The MESDAN WINDERS KNOTTER is simple to operate and ideally suitable for rapid joining of
a wide variety of textile yarns. Minimal maintenance at low cost ensures long life of the knotter.
Also avaialable UNIRAPID versions.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE:
Position the knotter on the left hand inserting the yarns together into the opposing side plate slots. With the yarns held loosely
in the right hand, depress the trigger to its full extent to form, tighten and eject the completed knot in one single operation. The
trigger, when released, will return to its starting position.

De·BEDIENUNGSHINWEISE. Der Knoter muss in der linke Hand gehalten werden. Die zu verknüpfen Fadenenden werden mit
der rechten Hand zusammen in die Aussparungen vorn und hinten eingeführt, und zwar ganz nach unten. Mit dem Daumen
wird der Druckhebel nun rasch bis zum Anschlag nach unten gedrückt. Dadurch werden die beiden Fadenenden miteinander
verknotet und kommen gleichzeitig vom Knoter wieder frei. Sobald man den Druckhbel loslässt, kehrt er unter der Einwirkung
der Feder wieder in seine ausgangsstellung zurück.
Fr · MODE D’EMPLOI. Tenir le noueur dans la main gauche et les deux fils à nouer dans la main droite; les amener par un mouve-
ment de gauche à droite au-dessous du noueur dans les deux fentes guidefil. A l’aide du pouce, pousser le levier de la gâchette à
fond de course. Les deux bouts de fil à nouer étant alors éjectés, lâcher la gâchette pour qu’elle revienne à sa position de depart.
Es · MODO DE EMPLEO. El anudador se tendrá sujeto en la mano izquierda. Con la mano derecha se introducirán los hilos que
deben anudarse hacia el fondo de la ranura con movimiento simultáneo de izquierda a derecha. Con el dedo pulgar se presiona
el gatillo hacia el fondo de su cursa en donde los hilos quedarán anudados y libres del anudador. Se suelta el gatillo para que
vuelva a su posición inicial por la acción del muelle.
It ·MODO D’IMPIEGO. L’annodatore deve essere tenuto infilato nella mano sinistra. Con la mano destra i fili da annodare devono
essere introdotti contemporaneamente sul fondo dello spacco con movimento da sinistra a destra. Premere con il dito pollice il
grilletto fino a fine corsa, dove i fili saranno annodati e liberi dall’annodatore. Abbandonare il grilletto con movimento slittante che
verrà richiamato in posizione di partenza.
